Always very clean. Staff welcoming and friendly. Rooms all clean with towels, extra pillows, toiletries and plenty of storage & room spacious. One issue though that is not very nice when on ground level is the access route through/from a wooded area for non guests of hotel. On this occasion we encountered a few kids (a long way off of being men) that kicked about a ball with no care for the impact on our window. Early hours found also a Male and female (not guests) slurring drunken words of hate to each other and totally ok with treating the route as a toilet and like they owned it. I did then let my voice be heard and to move away or be removed...sad to say that! The hotel must fence the area and allow paying guest privacy and security. These few people have let down a community and shown themselves as vile people to foreigners, children and visitors alike.

Location brilliant. Visited Gavin and Stacey Barry Island and relived childhood memories. Walked the Roman Walls at Caerwent and Norman Chepstow Casle. Both are a very close to The Barn. The hotel was friendly and comfortable thanks to the efforts of Sharn(bar), Sue(breakfast) and Deborah(room). The hotel has a rural aspect but you can hear and see the M4. My only complaint was the lack of grabhandles in the bathroom. Although being an active 91 year old I would have felt more secure. I mentioned this on leaving and was told that the management would be informed. This was a memorable visit and I shall be returning.

Desk mit Desklampe und Gepäckspeicherung zusammen mit offenem Schrank und Bettwäsche/Einheit. Große Vollgröße Spiegel. Das Queen-Size-Bett ist komfortabel und hat viele Kissen/Betten. Das Badezimmer ist eines der besten, die ich in Hotels mit modernen und sauberen Ausstattung gesehen habe. U-Bahn-Fliesen mit Chrom-Bearbeitungsgeräten, großes Bad mit Wasserfall Dusche und über Bad Dusche für, wenn nur Ihre Haare waschen benötigt. Große mit Licht und großer Platz für die Toiletten usw. Handtücher und Türhaken alle komplett das besser als die meisten Badezimmer. Toiletten und Toiletten, Handwasch- und Kettelfegel und Schmuck, Brille, Qualitätshänge und die Aufmerksamkeit auf Details schaffen alle ein gutes Zimmer. Das Hotel fließt auf das pub/Restaurant. Dass man Grüne König ist das Essen ist alles gut. Eine umfangreiche Lebensmittel- und Getränke-Menü. Einfache und benutzerfreundliche App ermöglicht die Bestellung von Ihrem Tisch für Lebensmittel und Getränke. Insgesamt ist die Bequemlichkeit sowohl des Hotels als auch der Bar mit guter Service und guter Wert ein sehr empfehlenswerter Ort, um zu bleiben, ob Sie hier für Geschäfts-, Freizeit- oder nur eine Nacht oder zwei R&R The New Inn @ Green King immer das Marke schlagt. Wenn Sie Frühstück mit Zimmer haben, ist es im Restaurant mit heißen & kalten Optionen Continental und Full English serviert. Sowohl perfekt präsentiert und Qualitätsprodukte. Parkplatz für Gäste ist kostenlos und die Eingabe der Auto-Registrierung vermeidet nach Aufenthaltsgebühren.

Ich habe vor kurzem in diesem Hotel für eine Konferenz am ICC geblieben, und ich muss sagen, dass dieser Ort in Bezug auf die Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals großartig war. Ich werde hier nochmal für zukünftige Reisen bleiben! Der Spaziergang zum ICC könnte besser sein, da Sie viele Verkehrsleuchten überqueren müssen, aber das ist für den Rat zu beheben! Das Frühstück war auf dem Weg!

Situated in the countryside outside Newport, just off the bypass. Plenty of parking, I think free. Reasonable amenities for our weekend function, though the Wi-Fi was weak at times and crashed periodically. Respectable food and dining facilities, not top quality, but okay, bearing in mind the discounted price. Decent bar, though the wine wasn't cheap. The beer was. Rather disorganised staff on arrival, they unsure what rooms were ready. They were also reluctant to print airline boarding passes, though did so when emailed to the desk. There were quite a number of radiators on in the hotel, plus a bathroom heated towel rail in my room, making it uncomfortably warm at times - this was May. The bedroom was comfortable enough, if a bit battered in places, plus the toilet leaked water into the bowl continually. There was no soap, only liquid dispensers. Could best be described as cheap and functional (largely).

Gestern zum Mittagessen besucht (Sonntag, 25. September) und da wir hier buchstäblich hundert Male gegessen haben, wussten wir sehr viel, was zu erwarten war. Sie wurden nie von der Nahrung oder dem Service abgelassen. Gleichwohl war gestern außergewöhnlich, hatte ich einige, wenn nicht die beste gekochte Fische, die ich je gegessen habe, und das umfasst eine Reihe von Michelin-Sternrestaurants sowohl im Vereinigten Königreich als auch im Ausland. Fisch ist einfach zu kochen, aber schwer zu kochen wirklich gut, der Koch hier nagelte es. Jedes Mitarbeiter, den wir getroffen haben, war brillant, freundlich, hilfsbereit und ein Kredit für das Hotel. Wir werden nächsten Monat zurück sein .

Having food (pizza - highly recommend, very tasty) in the trophy bar, lovely atmosphere and exceptional service from Finley and Mali Friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Trip was booked as I was meeting someone at the mooring of my boat nearby. excellent location, and had opportunity to play tennis an swim, I also took advantage of the beautician having a manicure ready for an interview... im extremely pleased with the stay, room 51 was perfect for my requirements room 47 was lovely for my daughter. I will stay there again.
