Hier kam ich auf einer Bustourreise. Sofort von der modernen Lage unseres Schlafzimmers und den Einrichtungen. Auch sehr sauber. Hatte Abendessen, das war ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten Pate und Makrele zu starten, Meerbraun für die Hände mit Kartoffeln und Vegetation und Dessert von Käsekochen. Alles ausgezeichnet und sehr gut serviert. Wie mein Titel vorschlägt, das beste Hotel noch auf einer Bustour. Gut empfohlen.

After an exceptional stay at the Wigan Holiday Inn Express on September 20th, 2024, I didn’t expect such a stark contrast in service at another location within the same hotel group the very next day (September 21st, 2024). This time, we experienced a completely different attitude at the front desk—rudeness and dismissiveness. Despite multiple requests for assistance, such as having my room closer to my friend’s, an hour late check-out (which my friend was granted), and fixing the issue with my room’s air conditioning (my friend’s room was fine), we were met with vague, unhelpful explanations that treating a fool. It felt like dealing with political officials dodging direct answers. For the first time ever, I left a hotel feeling genuinely angry. They might be better suited for a career in politics.

Wie gut sind die Uhren: das Zimmer ist sauber, das Bett ist sehr komfortabel, das Frühstück ist sehr gut, nahe der Station ist bequem Vieles ist nicht gut: 1. Sehr hässlich! Jede Nacht hören Sie die unten stehenden Leute, die den Tisch zu trinken und um zwölf Uhr abzuschneiden!! Hier in der Nähe der Straße ist auch ein Auto sehr heiß. Das Hotel hat keine Gäste, warum wir nicht ein wenig höher und ruhiger Zimmer geben können. Ich habe immer noch einen Ohrring mit der Nacht wach. 2. Die Mitarbeiter haben es praktisch nicht gesehen, und sie sind nicht immer da, wenn sie über die Rezeption gehen. Während des Aufenthalts haben wir nicht gesagt, wo das Frühstück ist. 3. Die erste Nacht ist direkt mit dem Hotel reserviert, die zweite Nacht Trip.com. Der kleine Bruder sagte, dass die Zimmertyp zwei Nächte nicht gleich sind, aber am nächsten Tag hätten sie keine anderen Gäste in dem Zimmer bleiben können, das wir nur in der ersten Nacht haben können. Als wir am nächsten Tag zu bestätigen kamen, sagten sie, dass wir heute noch wohnen sollten. Wir hatten ein paar Minuten, um zu warten, und sagten, dass wir 20 Pfund zahlen sollten, um das vorherige Zimmer zu bekommen. 4. Das Hotel hat keinen Schlauch, der Preis ist ein 45-Sterne-Hotel, der Preis ist relativ niedrig Insgesamt ist es das Gefühl, dass Hotels mehr daran interessiert sind, ihre Restaurants und Bars zu betreiben und auf die Gästezimmer zu verzichten.

There was a problem when booking into hotel as we had gone through Trip.com and receptionist said that we had not paid as no confirmation had come over to them from third party. We explained that we had paid showed her the relevant information on my phone etc -but still insisted that we had to pay . We waited at reception for about 40 minutes while we waited for the receptionist and manager were in back room sorting it out.This in fact made us late for our evening meal - which we had to miss out on- as well as being late for our meet n greet showing at the Theatre Royal - which we also missed out on- It spoilt our evening - but the amenities and staff in the hotel were fabulous- especially the young girl who served us breakfast in the morning.x

Called in for a meal, menu reads well. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing, the staff were not very attentive at all, and we had to prompt the staff for anything we needed. Nothing was offered. No one asked how are meal was, tables were not cleared until the last minute. Even when we paid the bill not a word was said regarding how the meal or the evening was. No customer care what so ever. The food was not the best, the seafood linguine looked ok but you could only taste salt. The child’s dish was poor quality, and the kebab was poor as well, all in all very disappointing especially based on the standard and even more so if you consider the cost, I will definitely reconsider my choice of venue for my up and coming event next year based on the disappointment we endured at this meal.

We booked this hotel for our daughter’s 6th birthday we did the stay and play package and booked the princess suite. We also booked the birthday package. The hotel was very clean no problems all the staff was lovely and always spoke to us and especially our daughter and wished her happy birthday. Our daughter loved the birthday treat from the mascot who came to the door. The bed was very comfortable and the food was good. The only thing was that you needed to book a time to order your food. We are looking forward to coming back. The hotel booked us a taxi when we was leaving for the train station the taxi was taking its time and the reception team went above and beyond to get us a taxi.
