Stayed 2 nights again in the luxurious twin with a double bed each. Bliss! Lovely touch to arrive to classical music playing on the room radio (although we did think someone was already in residence!). So so quiet. Spacious. Lovely bathroom. Great staff. Disappointing porridge was rectified at once. No parking but brief stroll to nearest carpark in queen street with no fee 6.30pm- 8am or on a sunday, plus can extend session from Ringo app whilst sat in the hotel bedroom! Already planning return as so convenient to friends & family

We have to agree with the many reviews we’ve read since staying at Barnett Hill Hotel. The hotel is a beautiful old house with lots of character set in the most glorious gardens in Surrey countryside. Our room was comfy and clean. We first noticed that the service was a little shambolic when we ordered our cream tea. The scones and jam arrived but the waitress seemed surprised that we wanted a pot of tea with them although we had ordered tea. Later our evening meal main took almost 2 hours to arrive staff just walked past us for most of the evening ignoring us until we pointed out that we had sat down at 8pm, had our starter at 8.18pm ish and we were still waiting for our main at 9:45pm! The meal when it finally arrived was a very odd combination of flavours and not very hot. Kind of mass produced Cordon Bleu. Breakfast was unremarkable. I think the scrambled eggs were made from dried egg. Again the service was frustratingly slow and staff seemed indifferent to the guests. Such a shame as we would have liked to go back and stay again but never would now.

The Asperion is best described as a simple, pared down hotel or B&B. We had a warm greeting from Annie and our room (a King bedroom) was large enough , clean, with a comfortable bed and a good shower in the bathroom. The decor is quite minimalist and the grey colours not to our liking, but you don't see them when you are asleep. We were a bit worried about traffic noise from the busy road but our room in the side extension was quiet. Breakfast was good with a decent choice. There is an honesty bar and small seating area in the main reception/dining room. We noted that a small range of dinner options is available but didn't try them. You can walk easily downhill into the town but coming back the hill is quite steep! We took a taxi to get to our restaurant, which was at the top of the opposite hill by the castle but walked back.

Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und sauber. Das Personal ist wunderbar, vor allem Emily und Nitanjal- sie sind beide so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles Personal hat großartig gewesen. Wir mögen auch das neue Menü, der Kabeljau ist ein Favorit. Wir sind immer gemacht, um sich willkommen zu fühlen. Danke!

Sehr historisches Hotel, der Personalservice ist sehr gut, die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, das Komfort ist die komfortable und heiße Gegend . Nur das Schlafzimmer ist plötzlich ohne heißes Wasser. Alles andere ist normal.

Liebe es Hotel, sehr komfortabel, da es irgendein Geschäft in der Nähe nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Frühstück ist gut und lecker und sicher wird dieses Hotel wieder wählen.
