We returned again to The Highland Club in Fort Augustus. We have stayed here many times. The location is ideal for exploring The Highlands. We also went to the UCI downhill championships. The apartments are very comfortable, well furnished and the kitchen is so well equipped. Being at the foot of Loch Ness in the early morning is an. Absolute delight!

Die Lage ist gut, direkt im Fort von Augustus, zu Fuß zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Business super. Der Service war begeistert. Der Schlüssel war, die Zimmerkarte vorzuzeigen und den halben Preis für eine Loch Ness-Kreuzfahrt zu erhalten. Es gibt viele Parkplätze. Es gibt verschiedene Möglichkeiten für ein warmes Frühstück. Kalte Mahlzeiten haben Buffettische.

You can’t beat this ideal location!’ The room was so clean with great view of the lochs. We walked to a boat for a tour and got to see many boats come thru the lochs— what a lot of work but amazing to watch how the loch system works! Wish the shop below stayed open later(close at 4:30) and opened earlier for those that need a good coffee boost in the morning!! We would definitely stay here again!! Very impressed with the renovations they did on this place! Stair well was nicely lit up . Love this place best of everywhere we stayed in Scotland!

Das Hotel wurde bereits vor dem Aufenthalt im Voraus gesendet. Die Beschreibung des Aufenthalts für den gesamten Aufenthalt ist sehr reibungslos. Die Zimmerart ist sehr gut. Die einzige wunderschöne und schlechte Situation ist, dass das Hotel gegenüber dem Kanalwasserschrank etwas Geräusch hat, aber im Grunde kann es nicht hören, nachdem das Fenster geschlossen wurde. 
Das Hotel hinter der Tankstelle ist ein Parkplatz, es ist auch sehr bequem, aber ich muss auf der anderen Seite der Straße parken, aber es ist kostenlos und geeignet für einen Freund, der sich selbst fahren kann.

I stayed at this lovely hotel for three nights while taking my trip round Scotland, and what a great experience we had the food was amazing and the staff too, had such a great time talking to the young boy behind the bar telling us all about the different whiskies. all the team members are offciant and helpful and really take on the responsibility of making what this little gem is all about, i would 100% recommend the stay for anyone. the room we had was amazing and the bed so comfortable with a lock view

Die Wohnung ist ein oberen Treppenhaus, die neue Dekoration ist sehr gut. Obwohl es sehr klein ist, hat es keine Auswirkungen auf die Wohnung. Der kleine Nachteil ist, dass die Gepäcktasche nicht sehr hoch ist 😂.

Das Glengarry Castle ist aufgrund seiner besonderen Lage und des authentischen Charme einen Besuch wert. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, besonders die Außenanlage, Lounge oder Bibliothek, die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal freundlich. Das Frühstück lässt auch keine Wünsche offen. Was uns nicht so gefallen hat ist, dass das Hotel nicht nur einen zeitgenössischen Charme hat, sondern dass leider auch vieles an der Zimmereinrichtung tatsächlich alt ist! Beispielsweise die Sessel, der Teppich-Badezimmerboden oder die Wände /Tapeten. Man kann ja durchaus renovieren oder Dinge erneuern, ohne den Charakter des Hotels zu verändern. Daher von uns nur vier Sterne.
