Lovely b&b in the heart of Northamptonshire, great friendly service. Would have liked a hairdryer in the room and I am sure if I asked for one it would have been supplied.

We stayed Friday for one night as we were visiting friends in nearby ****on Bec. We were warmly greeted by Julian and check-in was easy. Our accommodation is just across the car park and was more than adequate for our needs. We decided to have a drink before going out and there is a good selection of beers and wines, all reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting to Julian and learning about his sister's plans for The Narrow Boat. Obviously in January the weather isn't appropriate for sitting out in the garden overlooking the canal, but there is also another indoor restaurant that overlooks the terrace. We were more than happy sitting in the smaller restaurant/bar area particularly with the log-burning stove beside us! We had a look at the food menu which looked very nice and reasonably priced. Our breakfast on Saturday morning was delicious. My husband opted for the ”full works” which had a supplement, whilst I went for the standard one. Very nicely presented and the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. As other people have said, The Narrow Boat is on the A5 so you will experience some noise from the road but you get used to it. We look forward to coming back to stay again the next time we're in the area. Thanks to Julian and the chef for making us so welcome.

The hotel was very light and bright. The access to the rooms was challenging with the luggage up and down stairs. l wouldn't choose this again for those reasons unless l could request an accessible room. Ken, the chef, was excellent in the restaurant he met my vegetarian need and was very friendly and offered an excellent service

Good value for money on the motorway with food hall and shops and garage nearby.. Our room was comfortable and clean with no problems.

Fawsley Hall turned out to be the perfect location for a weekend break to celebrate my Wife’s birthday. The hotel itself is full of character and exceptionally well maintained, the grounds and surrounding area are ideal for a leisurely walk and the Spa is modern and really well equipped. There appears to be a great selection of rooms - each seemingly individually styled and ours was immaculately clean. From the moment we booked, the team were excellent. Everyone we encountered were unbelievably friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The hotel has the most amazing and cozy bar - with a huge fireplace, that was a perfect hideaway from the cold weather. The bar (and restaurant) team were always on hand and had a great sense of humour too… as well as serving the best Lime Daiquiris ever! The food is really good - breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent and the bar menu in particular was very reasonably priced. Final mention for the Spa team - both of us had the most relaxing treatments which capped a perfect stay. Thanks to the whole team

Über die Absturzbeige Dekoration Staverton Park hat wenig zu empfehlen. Am ersten Abend meines Besuchs wurde ich einen Mikro-Portion von Hühner Tikka mit 4 Kuben Fleisch in einem kleinen Kuchen serviert. Mehr von einer Suppe als ein Essen. Ich sagte einem Mitarbeiter, dass sie die Beschwerde an die Küche weiterleiten würden, aber keine Erstattung wurde angeboten und nachfolgende Getränke wurden immer noch zu einem vollen Preis gezahlt. Am zweiten Abend meines Aufenthalts, nach Mitternacht zurück in mein Zimmer, wurde ich von einem betrunkenen Rabben im Treppenblock auf dem ersten Stockkorridor begrüßt. Es war einschüchternd. Es fühlte sich unsicher. Sobald ich in mein Zimmer kam, würde die Türschlüsselkarte nicht funktionieren, um mir Zugang zu geben. Ich musste zurück zur Rezeption, die auch rüber war. Ich beschrieb die Situation dem Mann auf der Rezeption, der sich ungeachtet meiner Beschwerde aussah und ohne Entschuldigung den Schlüsselpass sortierte. Dies ist eine niedrige Klasse, bawdy-Einrichtung mit schlechtem Kundenservice hinter einer intelligenten Fassade und attraktiven Lage. Parkplatz ist eine Frage mit einem über vollen Parkplatz, was bedeutet, dass Gepäck zu unserem Zimmer zu transportieren beträchtliche Entfernung. Vermeiden Sie bei allen Kosten, es sei denn, Sie sind wirklich fest und haben keinen Sinn, mit scharfen Einstellungen, Service & Food aufzutreten. Sehr enttäuschend & überpreist für die Erfahrung.
