The Torrance hotel chose our school, St Vincent’s primary in East Kilbride, to benefit from their community give back Christmas parties. Primary 1 and 2 went one week and primary 3 and 4 the next (the latter I attended as a parent helper). We cannot thank the staff enough, who gave up their time voluntarily to provide such a special occasion for our children. There was a fantastic dj, face painter, entertainer, chef, waiting staff and many more who all put in such a shift that I can hardly believe they did it for free. Their enthusiasm and attention to detail was wonderful to see and greatly appreciated. The Manorview Group provided us with transport, the tables were beautifully decorated, there was plentiful food, juice, ice cream, sweeties, dancing competitions, goody bags and a visit from the main man himself, Santa. What an absolute treat this was and one the children (and adults alike) will remember forever. Thank you so much for providing a magical Christmas experience for the kids.

Wir haben 2021 bei Crossbasket verheiratet, und wir hatten eine kleine Hochzeit. Wir hatten das Schloss vor der Buchung unserer Hochzeit besucht und der Service ist die beste, die wir in Schottland erhalten haben. Von der Buchung unserer Unterkunft bis zum Morgen nach unserer Hochzeit waren die Mitarbeiter in Crossbasket fantastisch und konnten nicht genug. Der Manager Rob traf uns, um uns rund um das Schloss zu zeigen, als es nicht offiziell geöffnet war, er nahm die Zeit, um alle Fragen zu beantworten, die wir hatten und war fantastisch. Vicki, der Hochzeitskoordinator, hat alle unsere Anfragen befriedigt und jedes Personal ging am Tag oben und weiter. Wir lieferten in einem kleinen Sack von Artikeln, die mein Mann am Tag zu schaffen geplant hatte, als er ankam, dass alle Details für ihn gemacht worden waren. Dies erlaubte einen Spaßfreien Morgen. Wir waren in der Hauptstadt verheiratet und hatten unsere Rezeption im Stewart Zimmer. Das passte unseren Bedürfnissen und trotz der scharfen Einschränkungen in der Zeit fühlte sich unser Tag perfekt ”normal” (in Übereinstimmung mit den erlaubten Einschränkungen). Unsere Gäste blieben in wenigen Zimmern, die riesig und so komfortabel sind. Wir blieben im Macintosh Zimmer, das erstaunlich war. Mein Mann und ich freuen uns auf die Rückkehr und den Aufenthalt wieder. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet mit viel Auswahl und Geschmack. Das rote Menü ist einige der schönsten Lebensmittel, die wir je hatten. Wir haben seitdem zwei ICMI-Eigenschaften besucht und müssen sagen, sie haben wirklich den Standard für Service und Lebensmittel in Schottland festgelegt. Wir haben unlängst in Cromlix geblieben, die ähnlich wie Crossbasket für Lebensmittel zu sterben und Service über dem Standard hatte. Das ist etwas, das wir sehr empfehlen und wir freuen uns auf die Prüfung anderer ICMI-Eigenschaften. Danke für das gesamte Personal, wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einem Hochzeitsraum (ob es für 5 bis 200 Personen ist!) empfehlen wir sehr diesen Ort. Auch zu kommentieren hatte alle unsere Lieferanten schöne Dinge zu sagen über die Lage. Unser Make-up-Künstler sagte, es ist ihre Lieblings-Ort, mit zu arbeiten, da sie so zu unterhalten!

Schlafzimmer geräumig, aber dann nicht gut. Königsgröße Matratzen auf einer Doppelbettbasis bedeutet, es war einfach aus dem Bett zu rollen, wenn Sie auf der unbekannten Kante endeten Das Duvet war gut aus dem Deck, und es war flüchtig und verblüffend, zerstörerisch. Das Badezimmer hatte eine Peeling-Gemälde und keine Spiegelschrauben. Dusche funktionierte gut, aber umgeben und versiegelt ziemlich präzise. Bettlichter konnten nur auf / aus einer Seite ausgeschaltet werden, ungünstig Die Fernsehkontrolle war scheiße, schüchtern und mit keiner sichtbaren Zahlen ausgetragen. Absolut dick mit Staub und schlimmer. Badbad nicht gereinigt (2 Nachtstunden). Teebehälter links schmutzig und nicht einmal nach der ersten Nacht gepflückt, obwohl erfüllt wurde. Lebensmittel - großartig überpreis für unterhalb der durchschnittlichen Masse produzierte Grundnahrung. Dienstpersonal war vernünftig erst nacht, schütteln 2. Nacht. Einige Nahrung kalt, wenn es serviert wurde. Frühstück, schlecht ausgefüllt. Schüsse nicht in den gekrümmten Getreide-Service-Bowls zu verwenden, sammeln rund 3 Maisflaschen zu einer Zeit. Eier hart wie Boots. Krackte / geschnittene Glass und Schmuck wird für den Gebrauch ausgelegt. Hoffentlich nie wieder. Es könnte wirklich nett mit einigen Investitionen sein, aber derzeit das schlimmste IHG Hotel, das ich überall geblieben habe.

Das Hotel ist mit hervorragendem Personal und Zimmern, ich bleibe hier wöchentlich während der Arbeit in Schottland. Die Zimmer sind modern und mit allem, was Sie brauchen, uns nichts zu bewegen. Alle Mitarbeiter, die ich im letzten Jahr kennen musste, sind hervorragend dort Jobs und können nicht genug für Sie tun.Frühstück ist sehr gut mit vielen Wahlen, Abendessen sind auch gut. Ich würde hier definitiv mit meiner Familie stoppen, anstatt nur für Arbeit.

I really wanted to leave a great review for this hotel. We stayed for an ultimate spa break to celebrate my daughter finishing her exams and leaving school. She was really looking forward to it. Our initial impressions were good, the grounds are beautiful and the reception staff were attentive and friendly. When we reached our room we were a bit disappointed as the room wasn’t to the same standard as other McDonald hotels we have stayed in and sadly that became our constant thought throughout the whole stay. The decor is very tired and the whole place could do with an overhaul. Paper peeling from walls, we had tissue paper stuck underneath the handles on the windows to keep them closed. The relaxation room of the spa was horrible as the ceiling looked mouldy and the paper was peeling off the walls. We had dinner the first night. We had looked at the menu online however it was totally different when we went into the restaurant and the choices weren’t great. We ordered cocktails and both agreed they were the worst cocktails we had ever had, they cost £9.95 each and I didn’t drink mjne at all. Breakfast the next morning was shambolic, there was 8 of us in the restaurant and the staff were running around like headless chickens saying they were so busy and tables weren’t cleaned, we waited a ridiculous length of time to order our food and it took forever to come. We had afternoon tea booked as part of the deal, again it wasn’t great. It had obviously been made well in advance of our booking time and the break on the sandwiches were hard and the cakes cheap and uninteresting. We ate out elsewhere our second evening. We both enjoyed our spa treatments which helped rescue the weekend. Breakfast on our final morning was better as it was a buffet style although we had to wait ages to ask staff for plates as there were none available to lift up (apparently the plate warmer was broken so they weren’t leaving plates out). I think that the staff of Crutherland House are doing the best they can however something has gone wrong with the running of this hotel and it needs attention . We wouldn’t recommend it to friends and next time will go somewhere else

We travelled from Ireland to stay in your premises for 3 nights. Everything seemed OK on arrival. We went to the room but I had to make a complaint to reception about the shower which was not working correctly ( as stated on your website ensuite rooms are refurbished to luxurious standards), I wouldn't call a shower hose from a mixer tap luxurious. To this I didn't get a satisfactory answer. We left immediately without having  a good inspection of the room as we were pushed for time to meet with friends for dinner. On return that evening as we were about to go to bed we pulled back the bed clothes and saw what looked like body hairs  on dirty sheets. On closer examination we saw a filthy duvet cover, undersheet and a badly stained mattress which was absolutely disgusting. There was also a bad smell from the bathroom among other descrepencies which I won't go into now. We made the decision not to stay so I went to reception to complain and request the return of my payment as the room was not fit for purpose and I feel that it was mis sold to us. I brought your supervisor to the room and  Of course he dismissed my complaint and queried why we left it so late to bring this matter to his attention in a way that was condescending to me even after explaining  the reason. This was extremely inconvenient as we had to find elsewhere to accommodate us at short notice which proved costly, having to book into numerous hotels to cover our trip.
