On arrival, the hotel sort of looks very grand but as you walk in you’re back in the 80s. I’m guessing the hotel hasn’t been decorated since then, it’s very outdated and could do with some refurbishment. The reception staff were very nice and check in was easy. The room itself was again, very outdated but I can’t fault the cleanliness it was pretty much spotless and the beds were very comfy. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room too which is always an added bonus. I did have an issue with the TV not working on the first night and reception did move our room for us, but it probably would have been easier just to swap the tv? Nonetheless, we were grateful for him solving the issue so quickly. The welcome booklet in the room is really (I mean REALLY) detailed, down to describing the carpets in the corridors. I think if the bar didn’t charge £7 for a bottle of kopparberg, the bar area would have a few more guests in having drinks. The lake view was nice from the bar but again not worth sitting out there for the price of the drinks. We didn’t eat anything so can’t comment on the quality of food but the menu looked quite expensive. All in all I’d stay again as it’s close to the venue we visit but it seriously needs an update if there are to be more than four guests staying at once across the hotel.

This place is generally very good. The outside noise - largely depending whereabouts your apartment is - let's it down. However, what makes this place excellent are the people who work there and who look after us. Thank you all very much for a great stay!

I had a masseuse named Min who did an amazing job and I would highly recommend for massages! The facilities were excellent and the staff in both the reception and the spa were very attentive and efficient to our needs to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Farnborough ist ein seltsamer Ort, in dem wir nie gefunden haben, ob es ein Einkaufsgebiet gab! Das Falcon Hotel ist nahe dem [privaten] Flughafen, aber von ihm nicht in irgendeiner Weise beeinflusst. Das Hotel hat gemischte Bewertungen und es gibt viel zu loben. Die Mitarbeiter und die Rezeption sind freundlich und die Zimmer und die allgemeine Umgebung sind unspottbar sauber. Natürlich werden die individuellen Regelungen jede Bewertung beeinflussen; einige Zimmer könnten besser und einige schlimmer sein. Wir hatten das, was als ein oberster Zimmer bezeichnet wird, und es ist schwer, jede Funktion zu identifizieren, die es verdient. Das Zimmer hatte ein großes Bett, einen Schrank, Bettseite und ein kleines Desk. Es war besiedelt und gekrampft. Es gab einen Stuhl [kein Armstuhl] so nirgendwo komfortable zu sitzen, um TV zu sehen. Das Bett war komfortable, wenn ein wenig niedrig für mich mit einem Duvet [die in, warum?]. Mein Hauptbestand im Schlafzimmer ist, dass die Gärten das Licht nicht ausschwarzen, so dass das Zimmer mit etwa 400m Licht war. Warum nicht die Hotels verstehen, wie wichtig das ist für den Komfort. Das Badezimmer war OK, außer dass die Tür nicht geschlossen bleiben würde. Die Toilette wurde gekrampft und der Sitz war los [bedürfte einer besonderen Ausstattung] und die Dusche, die über dem Bad ist, war schwer zu benutzen, da die Tappen nur ein Viertel von ”off” auf ”full on” nahmen . Es gibt eine sichere Handhabung, um zu helfen, in und aus zu kommen, was von entscheidender Bedeutung ist. Das Frühstück wird in einem geräumigen und unspotten Restaurant mit frischen Linentischkleidung serviert. Das Abendessen füllt ein kleines Blatt mit Wahlen, die gut war. Der Preis ist vernünftig - etwa £85 für ein Doppelzimmer mit Frühstück.

Room only cleaned once throughout our stay and dirty towels were never removed sheets never changed and considering we put our sign out saying please clean room it’s not good, it seemed they only emptied the bin and replaced the coffee sachets. The check in system is very strange I felt like I was in an internet cafe and the lady standing there was very unfriendly. Also for such a big hotel why only one lift ? I understand there is a gym and bar on site but at the weekends it seems very much young lads on the p**s walking around which I found very strange considering the hotel is on a office industrial estate. The room service food was ok but the menu never had what was being advertised. Also for the price your paying the tvs should at least have smart tv options as all was on offer was digital tv felt like 2002. Also the tea coffee options was poor with no decaf an old kettle and no biscuits. The shower was good but the picture advertised showed a bath aswell, think marketing need to up their game with up to date promotion

We went there for a friend's birthday party and were blown away by the outstanding customer service, cleanliness, friendly staff and amazing experience. One of the best hotels I have stayed in within the UK. My wife and I will definitely be coming back to stay again. 6 stars from her.

Breakfast was the only good part. Originally booked this hotel as it took dogs and didn't end up taking the dog in the end. It had really good reviews and two rooms available. One for me and my husband and another for my mother. Checked in via the door code given. We were upstairs to the front of the property. As I was upstairs I heard a voice downstairs from a male who at the time shouted up are you OK. I now know that male to be the owner. To which I replied yes I'm collecting items from my car. He never introduced himself so I assumed he was a guest. Went straight out to visit family and came in about 9pm. Tried to have a shower and it wouldn't turn on. Probably due to the limescale build up and even my husband couldn't get it switched on. The room as per the pictures was old fashioned and the carpets were well stained all over. There was cobwebs on the ceilings that hadn't been touched in years and on the side lights as per the pictures. The single paned windows which were all wooden. Well only 1 opened and they need some tlc as paint was coming off and some wd40 needed for the one that opened. Old wooden furniture and a fan that looked like something from the war. Bottles in the bathroom not labelled and other people's hair on tiles and bath floor. Plus mould all over the bathroom ceiling. Not a good night's sleep with boy racers and moped flying up and down the road. On ********** it says the hotel has soundproofing which it doesn't. The following day went down for breakfast and my husband made the male owner aware to see if we could move to a back bedroom. The husband refused and said that he didn't believe we would be happy anywhere. He was very argumentative and aggressive and that was before I mentioned how dirty the room was. One minute he said that I was lying about the noise as he stayed there. Then next minute he changed his mind and said that he only occasionally stays here. He mentioned that he has cleaners in and by the state of our room I would sack them. Stayed for breakfast which was the only nice thing about the hotel. Ended up leaving after that night and found a clean hotel. My mums room was nice but again single panelled glass windows so she didn't get a good night's sleep. Would I recommend this hotel definitely not as the owner doesn't agree with anything you say and at one point I thought he was going to assault my husband who was just trying to see if another room was available. Pay abit more and go to a better hotel where they will lookafter you. Only positive was after the owner calmed down was he gave us a refund and we found a better hotel. So if you do stay here don't give him any negative feedback because you will be wrong!
