Ich und drei Freunde reiste aus Bedfordshire, Essex und Yorkshire, um hier für das Wochenende zu treffen. Der Preis war sehr gut, und ich wartete nicht viel! Allerdings kann ich diesen Ort gründlich empfehlen. Unsere Zimmer waren groß und sauber, das Bett extrem komfortable. Sehr schönes Badezimmer. Kettle, Tee, Kaffee etc. angeboten. Nichts fancy, aber nur richtig. Nach der Eincheckung hatten wir Glück, das Wetter zu haben, so saßen wir für ein paar Stunden im schönen Garten und hatten ein paar Prosecco. Wir blieben zum Abendessen und wir wurden durch die Qualität der Lebensmittel zum Preis abgeblasen. Wir liebten es alle und der Service war auch fabulös. Nichts war zu viel Problem. Das Personal ist die absoluten Sterne dieses Ortes. Wir hatten einige Getränke in der Bar - eine gute Auswahl von Spirits (würde ein oder zwei Cocktails geliebt haben). Das Frühstück war gut, wieder ein fabulöser und freundlicher Service und eine Menge Wahl. Wenn ich wieder in Melton Mowbray wäre, würde ich nicht zögern, hier zu bleiben.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Stapleford Park to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. The accommodations were most pleasant, from the beautiful room to the delicious and plentiful breakfast. The grounds, so well kept and neatly manicured, made for an absolute picturesque atmosphere. Making our stay top notch was our time spent with Gill and Simon from Rutland Outdoor Pursuits. While they offer various types of outdoor experiences, we chose Clay Pigeon Shooting for our desired activity. No need to leave the beautiful grounds of Stapleford, Rutland Outdoor Pursuits brought the fun right to our footsteps! Gill and Simon were immediately welcoming, and their expertise, enthusiasm and warm personalities fostered a positive atmosphere for leaning and having a fabulous time. And that we did! Safety is their number one priority, which immediately put at us ease. They took their time and allowed us to thoroughly enjoy the experience. A job well done, by Gill and Simon — two lovely people who are passionate and well versed in their field of work, yet so easy to chat up the afternoon with! By the end of our excursion, we felt we had spent a wonderful afternoon having fun with fantastic friends. Thank you so much Gill and Simon for being the highlight of our wonderful stay at Stapleford Park!

Our party of 9 plus a small dog had lunch on Bank Holiday Monday. From start to finish we were made very welcome we ate outside in the lovely garden. The food was excellent all well presented and the staff very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. One member of our party has coeliac disease so having a gluten free menu was particularly important and he really enjoyed his pasta dish. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their visit to The White Lion. Thank you.

Frühstücksbacon überkocht und Tomaten nicht genug kocht. Auch Jug im Zimmer für kaltes Wasser hatte eine kleine Menge Wasser in ihm, ich hätte gedacht, das wäre nach den letzten Bewohnern gereinigt worden.

Die BnB war schön und sehr sauber. Auch nur einen Min. von einem lokalen Gastrobob entfernt. Würde wieder bleiben :)
