Finde Hotels in Arrochar

After reading some horrendous reviews of The Loch Long Hotel, I thought it would be amusing to stay there for the one night. This is what happened........... I booked one night, arriving on Saturday 12th October. I paid £60.00GBP for room only, and I made a reservation for the Hotel Restaurant for 6.30pm. We looked at the Menu for The Restaurant Online, the Theme for The Restaurant was Italian, I was Looking forwards to a Carbonara. My Wife and I arrived in Arrochar a few Hours before check in, (Check In is at 3pm) We decided to have Lunch in Ben Arthur's Bothy, this was a Five Minute walk from The Loch Long Hotel. I had The Steak and Sausage Pie and My wife had the Burger and Fries. The food was delicious well cooked and presented, at a reasonable cost. After lunch, at Ben Arthur's Bothy, we thought we would go to the Hotel an see if they would check us in One and a Half Hours Early, walking up to the Hotel, on my right, I could see the Sauna and the Hot Tub. The Steam Room , looked like a decompression chamber, we were sent a message, when we booked the room, that the Hot Tub was out of order. No information regarding the Steam Room The reception area was clean and tidy, and I felt a little less nervous about stating the night. I went to the Reception, too see if I could check in early, The Receptionist, was not the most enthusiastic, receptionist that I have encountered, but she did check us in early. I noticed a small pool table in reception, so I decided to have a game of Pool then go to my room. Although, the Pool table was free, there was no chalk so, there really is no point in playing Pool, without chalk. as, my wife and I were playing Pool, a couple went over to Reception and was asking the Receptionist the same questions we were asking about the Steam Room, and was given a different answer to the one we were given. so, we just went to find our Room. I was in Room 108, no views of Loch Long as we were at the back of the Hotel, overlooking the staff accommodation. Room 108 is a small room, with a small Double bed, right next to the en suite toilet and shower, on the plus side there was a Bath over the Shower, but with the Bed Being so close to the Toilet, you could hear everything going on in there ! On the plus side. The room was clean, the en suite facilities were clean I was very pleased to discover Welcome biscuits and Tea and Coffee, in proper ceramic mugs. What let down Room 108 was the Bed was very uncomfortable, there was some sort of protector sheet under the Valance sheet but it was quilted so, it made for a ”Lumpy” feeling when you were trying to sleep in it. My last complaint was the Pillows ! Cheap Hollow Fibre pillows, very uncomfortable ! Later that Evening My Wife and I decided, to go to the Bar for a drink, before we went to the Restaurant for our 6.30 Reservation. At 6.15 we made our way over the The Restaurant and it was closed, all the lights were off. so, I went to The Reception and asked a man in a

Einen Abend in einem Doppelsee-View-Zimmer mit en-suite. Die Ansicht ist es wert. Die Gäste waren freundlich, das Zimmer war sauber, einfach zu überprüfen und zu verlassen. Die Lage war leicht untergeschrieben und Parkplatz verfügbar. 5/10min Gehen Sie zu wenigen lokalen Chip-Shops eine Bar und Shops, wenn notwendig, sowie Zugang zu der Bar und Restaurant auf der Website. Wir blieben am Sonntag im Juni, der ruhig war. Das Gebäude ist ein älteres Gebäude, so sehr schrecklich, aber das ist sehr viel Teil des Charme. Tee/Kaffee und Kettle im Zimmer sowie eine kleine schottische Cookie-Behandlung. Perfekte Ausreise für weitere Reisen im Norden oder in jeder anderen Situation. Ich würde sicherlich nochmal buchen.

Das Hotel hatte ich angesichts des Preises und der Fotos von der Außenansicht exklusiver erwartet. Es ist aber ein ganz normales 3-4 Sterne Hotel. Auch die renovierte Inneneinrichtung hat einen ”Old British” Charme: im Lift sind die Wände mit Stoff bezogen, aber die Bäder sind neu und funktional. Die Lage ist einzigartig, ideal für eine Bootstour über den See. Leider gibt es keinen Gepäckraum, in dem wir zwischen Anreise (13:30) und Check-in (15:00) mehr als 2 Koffer abstellen konnten. Für unsere Familie war auch die Bushaltestelle gegenüber des Hotels (als Stop von Glasgow zum Fährhafen Kennacraig) ideal.

Amazing hotel in the most beautiful and relaxing location by Loch Lomond. I enjoyed the nearby hillwalking and catching the local ferry from Luss Pier to explore Loch Lomond from the water. Room, couch and bed were all very comfortable and cosy, with the benefit of a private balcony. For food you can simply walked down to Luss village or have breakfast, lunch and dinner at Colquhoun's restaurant that is located in the hotel with spectacular views of Loch Lomond to inspire and remind you to appreciate the small things in life. Found the menu choice balanced and of high quality. Will definitely be back A +++++

Ein super gutes Hotel wurde unerwünscht gesammelt! Das beste Hotel im Dorf! Super kleine frische! Die Dekoration ist sehr neu und sehr gut unterhaltsam! Das Zimmer ist besonders warm! Sehr ruhig! Das Wohnen ist sehr komfortabel! Sie können sehr geruchig schlafen! Das Hotel ist sehr gut anerkannt, gegenüber der kleinen Stadt Lomond Lake und Snow Mountain, das beste Hotel, das Schneemarke ist sehr gut anerkannt. Der Rezeptor ist sehr gut, das kleine Stadtsignal ist nicht gut, ich lehre den Wifi-Passwort, und die Rezeption wurde bald nach der Reservierung von Trip.com erhalten. Im Standort reserviert, die Erfahrung ist sehr gut! Das Abendessen und das Frühstück sind großartig! Das Restaurant ist in der kleinen Ferienstadt großartig! !!! Das schottische Frühstück ist so lecker! Wenn Sie hier im Lomond Lake bleiben, verpassen Sie dieses Hotel nicht! Super gut! Die Nacht ist schneegekommen, die Silber-Silber-Sorte der Stadt ist wirklich wunderschön! Das ist am meisten erwähnt, dass das Frühstück schlimm ist 🥐! Das Hotelrestaurant ist selbst gemacht, die Art von Familie selbst gemacht! Echt riesig lecker! Es ist besser als jede Braunkohle in Europa! Ich kann dieses Haus wirklich nicht so lecker essen! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Upon arrival, the check in went smoothly, but the staff knew almost nothing about the complex and anything about our room. We had booked a 2 bedroom unit in Spruce building which is self maintained unit. Upon checking in and opening the door, we were hit with the smell of mold and an old damp room. Going upstairs to king bedroom, there was black mold growing on the wall near the window. The staff was called and they immediately sent over cleaning crew with bleach to remove. The unit then smelled of bleach, mold, and mildew. The unit appeared to have not been used for a long time. We were offered another upstairs unit, but it smelled the same and was all upstairs. We had to request assistance with heating, which didn't arrive until next day on a chilly day, the TV was not set up correctly. Overall the unit would have been nice if it had been refreshed before our arrival-as the layout was very nice and the view was very nice. We purchased food to stock the kitchen as we like to cook on our vacations. We ended up only staying 2 nights after feeling ill from the mold smell. We had to vacate after only 2 days of our 7 days vacation. Not apologies or credits were offered. The manager was unavailable to speak with us. The grounds are spectacular, but the overall complex is very dated, paint peeling around windows and doors, mold growing on entrance of units, sidewalks covered in algae making it slippery..... Also the complex is very remote, so you would not want to stay unless you are looking for great solitude.

In a quite delightful location, this Hotel on reflection is undoubtedly a wedding venue, and in that I would suggest it worthy of consideration. For us we were bed and breakfast guests for one night and although the accommodations were most comfortable and the catering very good ably provided by mine host Jas, the facilities mainly were quite large and more befitting the wedding venue status. The staff were most friendly and certainly helped make our stay. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and we commend the cooking skills of Jas.

Sehr gut geführter Betrieb, der auch viel für den Ort und den Tourismus in der Region tut. Einheimische, nachhaltige Produkte, gutes Essen. Die Superiour Pods sind sensationell. Gute Lage und viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Region.
