From start to finish this place was amazing. I spoke with the hotel owner Regan in February prior to booking explaining it was my wife’s 60th birthday and I wanted it to be special, and neither he or his wife Emma didn’t disappoint, brilliant hosts, providing fabulous hospitality. The breakfasts were all very good (we stayed for 4 nights) the breakfast room has all been redesigned and refurnished, as had the room we stayed in which had a picturesque view over the mountain which the hotel overlooks at the front. The hotel now called the Ty Afon - River House is situated within a pleasant 5 min walk from the centre of the village. Nothing was too much trouble and his staff we also equally friendly and accommodating. A really enjoyable stay and we shall definitely return next year, thank you for making my wife’s birthday so special🙏

Ausgezeichnete Erfahrung mit brillantem Personal. Kontaktiert im Voraus, um zu überprüfen, ob ich mein Auto vom Morgen parkieren könnte, auch wenn ich bis zum Nachmittag nicht angemeldet und eine hilfsbereite Antwort direkt bekommen. Als ich ankam, wurde mir eine kostenlose Upgrade gegeben! Das Zimmer war wunderschön und das Bett war so komfortabel! Dusche war schön, Bad war schön, Aussicht war wunderschön! Der einzige Nebenteil war es ziemlich heiß - ich wünsche wirklich, das Zimmer hatte einen Fan oder Luftkon. Das Frühstück war großartig, das Personal war sehr freundlich, ich werde sicher zurückkommen!

Ausgezeichnet am Fuße von Mt Snowdon gelegen und bietet verschiedene Wanderwege zum Gipfel und in der Nähe von Interessenpunkten. Catering für Einzelpersonen, Familien, Schulgruppen wie. Bunk Betten sind ein wenig eng, aber sehr komfortable an diesem. Einzel-Sex-Dorms sind mit Familien-/Privatzimmern ausgestattet. Lockers sind auch in den Dorms zur Lagerung von Werten verfügbar - nur denken Sie daran, ein Schließfach & Schlüssel jedoch zu bringen, da diese nicht angeboten werden. Wenn Sie auf den öffentlichen Verkehr zu verlassen, um zu erreichen, dann haben Sie eine Auswahl von Busdiensten zu wählen, da Pen-y-Pass bietet ein lokales Buszentrum in der Umgebung. Es gibt auch Parkplätze in der Nähe. Es gibt ein Büro eines lokalen Rangers in der Nähe, wenn weitere Vorschläge/Informationen über den lokalen Bereich benötigt - obwohl das Büro nur zu bestimmten Zeiten am Tag/Woche geöffnet ist. Die YHA bietet eine voll funktionale, selbstverpflegungsfähige Küche - Sie müssen nur gut organisiert sein, um aus dem Ausland Lebensmittel zu bringen, da es keine nahe gelegenen Geschäfte/Geschäfte gibt. Die nächsten Geschäfte/Geschäfte sind in Llanberis, und es gibt auch Farmshops in der Nähe. Just returned from a two night stay at this charming country house. We received the warmest of welcomes from Mark - a perfect host who could not do enough for you. Our room was spacious and very clean, attention to detail was second to none, very comfortable and with a view to die for. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and served in a lovely breakfast room again taking advantage of the view. The house is set in beautiful gardens and has a beautiful veranda. Perfect location to use as a base to visit the local sites including Port Meirion. Many thanks for your hospitality and sharing your stunning home with us.
