Ja, ja, gehen Sie einfach in die Altstadt und gehen Sie zur ehemaligen Hugo-Residenz. Der Bahnhof kann vorbei gehen. Etwa 15 Minuten. Wenn Sie langsam gehen, können Sie bequem um den Fluss spazieren.

Wir hatten unterschätzt, dass Besancon eine im Zweiten Weltkrieg wohl vollständig nicht zerstörte Stadt ist und es deshalb keine Parkhäuser gibt. So war die Anreise etwas mühsam, weil ein Platz für das Auto bis auf einen Kurzparkplatz nicht vorhanden war. Irgendwann hatten wir das Hotel dann doch gefunden, und vom Empfang, über das Zimmer, die Betten, das Bad und das Frühstück hat alles gepasst.

Located in the city center, which is almost entirely pedestrian (as a customer of a hotel, you can drive in), this hotel cost half of the price of every other hotel we looked at. High points: they fit all five of us in one room, with two double (very firm) beds and a twin size bed. Everything was clean and in good working order (wifi Fi, tv, private bathroom facilities, lights, curtains, etc.). Staff was very kind and quick to respond. Excellent location with citadel bus and tourist train at the end of the street. Breakfast (additional fee) was excellent with many cold options such as croissants, cheese, a wide variety of fresh fruit, ham, boxed cereal, bread, and hot coffee, cocoa, and tea. Low points: hallway smelled faintly of cigarettes (room was fine). The elevator was too small for a wheelchair. I've got mild mobility issues so I pay attention to details pertaining to accessibility. The room was so small it wouldn't accommodate a wheelchair and I think a person with a walker or even a cane would find it uncomfortable or even inaccessible. The bathroom (a very narrow bath with handheld shower head) was a real challenge for me and I ended up needing my husband's assistance. That said, I spoke to the lady at the front desk. We were only staying for one night but I asked if I could call in future for a room with a shower etc. and she absolutely said that would work and they would arrange whatever we needed. So I recommend calling them (they speak English, German, and Spanish in addition to French) if you have any concerns. I don't know whether they have ground floor rooms that are wheelchair accessible, for instance. TL;DR: a great little place with very helpful staff, clean and very well located. Excellent price but don't expect luxury, just a pleasant stay, so long as you call for any specific needs in advance.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise eine Nacht in diesem sehr charmanten gemütlichen Hotel, Zufahrt in die Altstadt mit dem PKW zum ausladen möglich. Sofern hoteleigener Parkplatz ausgebucht ist, gibt es ein großes Parkhaus in 400 Meter Entfernung, in dem man das Auto auch mit Gepäck bedenkenlos abstellen kann. Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter, sowohl an der Rezeption, wie auch im Frühstücksraum. Zimmer mit sehr leiser Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück ist exzellent und bietet eine große Auswahl. Personal ist immer präsent und legt bei Bedarf sofort nach. Ein sehr schöner Innenraum für das Frühstück. Bei gutem Wetter sitzt man sehr schön im Innenhof. Ein hervorragendes 3 Sterne Hotel. Wir werden jederzeit wieder gerne bei einem nächsten Besuch in Besancon einkehren

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. It was well signposted once near the town centre, which made it easy to find. There are a couple of issues to bear in mind about parking. First, the entrance is very narrow. My phone measure app measured the gap as 2.2m . I very carefully and slowly got my Tesla Model Y through. It felt like I was edging a supertanker through the Suez Canal. I used to have a model S and no way I would have attempted to get that through. One in the car park, there is a limited number of spaces. Three of them have Tesla chargers. If you book ahead, they will cone one off for you. By 10pm the car park was full and all bets are off at that point, Tesla space or not. I expect you would have to park outside in a public car park somewhere. The checkin was very simple. I had completed the online prebooking, which presumably helped. The reception and other, eg cleaning, staff were always polite and cheerful. The room was fairly basic, but the decor was well looked after and it was clean. We found the bed comfortable and with good pillows, including some extras in sealed bags. There was a small wardrobe and the ensuite included a toilet, sink and shower, all of which were pretty high quality items. The aircon worked wonderfully, which was essential, as it was around 40 degrees outside. It was also good to have two room keys as so many hotels think it is OK to give a couple just one room key. The flat screen TV was a decent size with a clear signal and a decent range of mainly french TV channels, with BBC world news and CNN as English language channels. The room has a telephone, but I didn’t use it. Free wifi was really good at about 70Mb download speed. The location is excellent on the edge of the old town centre. A short walk to the Musee Beaux Arts and not much further to the birthplace of Victor Hugo and many other key attractions and restaurants. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I came to Besançon. However, once my replacement model S arrives maybe later this year, this hotel won’t be an option because, although it has destination chargers, they are accessed through a narrow tunnel.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön direkt am Fluss Doubs sondern auch sehr zentral gelegen. Es befindet sich direkt im Ausgehviertel der Altstadt mit zahlreichen Bars und Restaurants. Das Musée des Beaux-Artsist nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Zimmer - zu mindestens zur Fussseite - sind trotzdem ruhig. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert und schön eingerichtet. Das Hotel bietet ein sehr gutes Frühstück. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zusammenfassend ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nur als extrem günstig zu bezeichnen.
