Finde Hotels in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains

Although we own an apartment in beautiful Saint Gervais, it is currently undergoing refurbishment, and so, on two occasions recently, once with friends and once with my husband (and Max the dog) we’ve chosen to stay at the lovely new Le Saint Gervais Hotel and Spa. Saint Gervais has several hotel options, but none with quite this luxury or quite so modern. Given its location so close to the start of the village (and close to the new télécabine from Le Fayet which has been announced), it is very well placed to capture tourists, and as it is open all year round, both in the summer and winter seasons. There is so much to like about the hotel. It is spotlessly clean; rooms have balconies overlooking the mountains and the town; and the staff are friendly and attentive. The barman Louison deserves a special mention here, showing genuine warmth, welcoming our dog to the hotel, and attempting cocktails “off menu”. The restaurant is not due to open until August this year and so, as others have mentioned, breakfast is currently being served in a function room somewhat devoid of atmosphere. Breakfast itself is ok. Nothing to particularly criticise, nor get excited about either. The vacuum flasks of coffee are awful however!! I hope that once the restaurant is complete that the breakfast offering improves with perhaps coffee, omelettes etc served to order too. Rooms are air conditioned (which was a blessing the weekend we stayed) with fast and efficient wifi throughout the hotel. The spa area is small, and I think the hotel really missed the opportunity for an outside jacuzzi. Aside from a small outdoor pool and some loungers, there isn’t much to report outside. Overall, we loved our time at the hotel, and will be sure to return for drinks, meals, or special occasions even once our own apartment is complete. Thanks everyone!!

Ich habe ein Zimmer gebucht. Les photos sont fidèles à l’état actuel. Nous avons été charmé par l’atmosphère de l’hôtel qui a fait resurgir en nous des souvenirs d’enfance. La chambre était propre et rangée. Le lit est particulièrement confortable. Wir haben nichts gefunden, was wiederzuholen! Das Badezimmer (separat durch eine Tür) war auch unfehlerbar. Kleiner Herzschlag auf dem Blick vom Balkon. Bezüglich der Aufnahme waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Manager sind sehr lächelnd und empfangend. Mittagessen ist wahrscheinlich einer der Punkte, die ich betrachte: ein Zimmer, das in einer ruhigen Atmosphäre eingerichtet ist, mit Managern, die uns zur Verfügung stehen. Schließlich, für den Parkplatz, da die umliegenden Plätze blau sind, haben wir nur auf die Ecke des Hotels entladen, um sich zu einem kostenlosen Parkplatz 100m weiter und bedeckt. Das Hotel liegt im Stadtrand mit praktischem Zugang zu vielen Restaurants und Geschäften. Wir empfehlen uns, diesen Ort zu bequemen!

This was my first time staying at the hotel and was very happy with the experience. The hotel is right in the middle of the village and only a few steps away from all the bars and restaurants. The rooms are basic but clean and well maintained and have a rustic warm feel to them. The downstairs breakfast area includes a very nice and the continental breakfast was excellent. Our host was very nice and spoke very good English and was very welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here.

Es ist eine Option, wenn Sie einen günstigen Aufenthalt in der Nähe von Chamonix wünschen. Es gibt Aussicht auf die Berge, aber das hängt vom Wetter ab. Ich konnte es nicht sehen, da Nebel die Berge bedeckte. Die Fahrt nach Chamonix dauert etwa eine Stunde und nach Genf sind es von hier aus etwa 2 Stunden. Die Zimmer sind gut und mit sauberer Bettwäsche ausgestattet. Der Empfang ist ausreichend. Ein Restaurant gibt es nicht im Hotel, sondern in einem Nachbarhotel. Ich war enttäuscht, dass das beworbene Hallenbad und Spa nicht geöffnet ist. Zumindest hätte uns die Website Bescheid geben können. Mit Englisch kommt man hier gut zurecht. Da das Hotel abseits der Autobahn liegt, müssen Sie ein wenig fahren, um zu Restaurants und anderen Annehmlichkeiten zu gelangen. Das Parken ist kostenlos und das ist ein guter Vorteil.
