Rooms hot and poorly ventilated. We We’re pleased it wasn’t summer! The bed was comfortable and linen clean and fresh. Bathroom was ok, but so small I could barely fit into it. Little room between sink and door. One smallish towel was provided per person and one of our towels had a hole in it. The toilet seat was awful. Neither the lid or the seat would stay up. Really awkward for males. Not even plastic glasses were provided in the room, so you couldn’t have a drink of water. Bar was ok but very expensive. Restaurant is a shipping container in the back yard. No doubt very cool and all that but its facilities were meagre. We ordered 2 pizzas and were warned it could be a 50 minute wait. We decided that was just about acceptable. However it took 1.5 hours to deliver our order! It might be funky and all that but it was very, very slow. In fact really poor. Staff friendly, with good English spoken throughout. Parking plentiful and it felt secure. The hotel is too far from the city centre to be convenient. We walked in twice and whilst quite a pleasant walk it is about 40 minutes. There were no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance. It wasn’t exactly cheap but OK. Overall average.

Dirty, no staff & no food! Staff tried hard but they are working against it. Rooms smelt mouldy, dirty bathrooms and rooms. Very poor quality. Rugby World Cup and no food available, wine terrible. Ask for rooms next to each other which they we had as we have teenagers, different floors and no room to change!

Leider können wir nicht mehr als einen Stern geben! Das Personal war sehr nett, ABER ein entsetzlicher Geruch aus der Kanalisation strömte vom Bad ins Zimmer. Das Lüften war nicht möglich, da die Balkone alle miteinander verbunden sind und man aus dem Nachbarzimmer hätte einsteigen können. Insgesamt wirkte das Zimmer sehr schmuddelig und der dunkle Teppichboden sehr ekelig. Das Schlimmste war das Bett ! Es war durchgelegen und modrig. Wir hatten am nächsten Tag viele Stiche von Bettwanzen/ Milben !!! So etwas ist vollkommen inakzeptabel !!! Das Hotel war früher mal sehr schön ist aber sehr herunterkommen und wurde wenig renoviert. Lage ist nicht optimal, da weit vom Zentrum entfernt und gruselig. Zudem war es sehr hellhörig und man konnte jeden Schritt der Gäste auf dem Flur hören.

Wir haben hier auf dem Weg nach Italien eine Nacht verbracht. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, wenn auch einfach. Das Badezimmer war schön und frisch renoviert, aber die separate Toilette schien es nicht gewesen zu sein. Es gab genügend Parkplätze. Der Pool war ziemlich klein, viel kleiner, als wir auf den Bildern dachten. Es gab viel Platz im Freien, wo die Kinder sich austoben konnten, obwohl ein kleiner Park hier vielleicht einen Unterschied machen würde. Das Zimmer hatte einen seltsamen feuchten Geruch und es gab viele Fliegen, die wir verjagen mussten, als wir ankamen. Wir baten auch um zusätzliche Kissen und uns wurde gesagt, dass die Obergrenze bei 4 pro Zimmer liege, also hatten wir nicht den bequemsten Schlaf. Alles in allem gut für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp.

An excellent address for people who want to visit Lille. It is located less than a mile a way from the station. And it’s easy to get to sights. The hostel is very clean and the service is great. A good place ran by friendly people. The breakfast is amazing by hostel standards as you get bread, cheese, ham, olives, yoghurt, cereals, hot drink and orange juice. There are also some community activities/workshops going on, but haven’t experienced these.

Huge Airport /Business Hotel Some of the rooms are newly renovated, but the unrenovated rooms are also OK. Unfortunately the new shower trays are very slippery. Very friendly staff at the reception deskI had to change the room as they neddeded it to renovate, unfortunately thsi was communicated early in the morning only, but they appologiesd for the late info with an sweet gift., so all good Location is outside of City so you need a car

C'est une maison d'hôtes très bien entretenue et en plein cœur de Lille. Je recommande si vous voulez changer d'un hôtel classique.
