Rating: ⭐⭐ Let's start with the positives. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. Their friendliness and attentiveness were commendable, and they made me feel valued as a guest. Additionally, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in ensuring the rooms were tidy and well-maintained, which is certainly a plus for a budget hotel. The location is pretty central, although the hotel is slightly awkward to get to (given the town’s one way systems!) but within a few metres of a pleasant square with bars and decent restaurants. One major issue was the paper-thin walls. Unfortunately, this led to an unfortunate situation where I could hear conversations from the neighboring room. It was not only an invasion of privacy but also disrupted my ability to relax and get a good night's sleep. I believe soundproofing should be a priority for any hotel, regardless of its budget status. To make matters worse, the noise issue reached its peak when an amorous couple in the adjacent room started shagging at 3am. While I understand that the Greet Hotel is a budget establishment, the thin walls and lack of sound insulation made for an unpleasant experience. I strongly urge the management to address this issue promptly and take measures to improve the soundproofing of the rooms. Guests should be able to enjoy a peaceful and undisturbed stay, regardless of the hotel's price range. In conclusion, the welcoming staff and clean rooms at the Greet Hotel in Evreux were commendable. However, the lack of soundproofing compromised the overall quality of my stay.

We made the mistake of arriving on a Sunday, thinking that as it had a bar and restaurant that they would be open. They weren't. I can only think that the three star rating for this place is due to the fact that they have such facilities. Pity they're closed at weekends. We had to drive a few miles to go to dinner on the town. We had to ring a phone number to be let in on arrival, which is not very welcoming. The hotel is in the middle of a tatty industrial park, and we did worry about parking our car there, but it was intact in the morning. We had a kettle in the room, but no cups or tea or coffee. The Receptionist provided cardboard cups etc upon request. The room was OK, basic, but we didn't pay a fortune to stay here. It was clean. Breakfast was a shambles. The Receptionist and a colleague were setting tables, but it turned out that they were setting them for dinner. As we went to sit down, staff removed placemats etc. Simple verbal communication would have been useful, there was no attempt to speak to us in French or English to explain what was happening. We managed to get the last couple of croissants and pieces of bread before they ran out at 8.30. Otherwise we would have had to manage with fruit, yogurts and ham. We did hear some people quite rightly grumbling about it. Upon departure, no-one asked us whether we'd had a pleasant stay, or even wished us ”bon voyage”. A man merely took our key from us with a ”merci”. Bottom line is, that I wouldn't stay here again. There is plenty of choice closer to Evreux.

Die Unterkunft war richtig, das Hotel liegt in der Nähe eines sehr beliebten Garten. Das ruhige Dach ist wieder zu sehen, sobald niemand in den Korridor durch die Vibrationen seiner Schritte im Zimmer resoniert, konnte man auch die Gespräche eines der mitoischen Zimmer verfolgen. Die Oberfläche des Badezimmers ist gefeucht und die Farbe schüttelt in die Dusche, was nicht einen guten Eindruck gibt, wenn in der Hygiene, gut, es gab 2 Handtücher-Stück zur Verfügung. Das Bett ist mit relativ geringem Komfort, das die wenigsten Bewegungen schüttelt. Für die Getränke, die mit dem Kekserei angeboten werden, habe ich eine Überraschung, dass ich seit 1 Monat Milch verbraucht habe!

Wir brauchten eine Unterkunft für 2 Nächte in Evreux und wählen Premiere Class, da die Beschreibung es klingt wie die Premier Inns oder Travelodges des Vereinigten Königreichs UND der Preis zählt Frühstück. Auf ca. 50 Euro pro Nacht war es nicht billig, aber so. Das Zimmer, das wir am ersten Abend gegeben wurden, war nur schrecklich. Der Heizgerät fiel aus der Wand - wie die Farbe war! Die Bodenlino war grollt und getragen. Die Dusche passte nicht (es kam von der Wand weg) und leckte über den Boden. Der Türverschluss wurde beschädigt und sah nicht einmal sicher aus. Die Zimmerausstattung wurde beschädigt und sicher unhygienisch. Unser erstes Nachtaufenthalt war schrecklich. Auf dem C**p Zimmer war eine Gruppe von anderen Besuchern, die keine Respekt vor anderen Bewohnern hatten - bis fast 3 Uhr, die eine Menge Lärm draußen machten - einschließlich der Möglichkeit, ihre Sprachen um Schreien und Bawling zu laufen. Es gab kein Hotelpersonal umher, um ihnen zu sagen, dass sie ruhig waren. Nachdem sie sich beschwert hatten, wandten sie uns für die zweite Nacht in ein anderes Zimmer. Obwohl die Dekoration usw. nur etwas besser war, war das Zimmer zumindest ruhig, so dass wir gut schliefen. Ich habe mich über diese Unterkunft beschwert und wurde versprochen eine Erstattung für den ersten Nachtaufenthalt, aber TBH, dieses ”Hotel” (wirklich?) sollte für Renovierung oder Wiederaufbau geschlossen werden (die konkrete Treppe scheint von Wassereingang und Stolz zu leiden Ich würde das ehrlich nicht als Aufenthaltsort empfehlen - und auf der Grundlage dieses Hotels werden wir die Unterkunft ALL Louvre Hotel Group für die absehbare Zukunft vermeiden. Nur ein letzter Punkt. Das Bett war sauber und das Frühstück (selbstservice grundlegende kontinentale Stil) war gut. Die beiden Mitarbeiter, die wir sahen (eine am Abend und die anderen Morgen), waren freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir sind spät um 22 Uhr gekommen, und es ist eine Freude, eine Empfangsfirma zu haben, statt einen Bildschirm. Und diese junge Frau war sehr begeistert und hilfreich. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ziemlich komfortabel für einen direkten Kyriad, schön überrascht. Das Frühstück ist richtig und der Morgen ist immer noch so warm. Zufrieden
