The location (just across from the station) is why we chose the hotel - (1) we arrived by train from Paris (2) next morning, we were able to take the train to Aulnat airport to pickup our car rental from Hertz. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms seemed unusually small (have stayed in many ibis styles properties elsewhere), but beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. Note to guests and hotel staff : there is a train (TER) running between Clermont Ferrand station and Vertaizon, which stops at Aulnat airport and makes for a quick (7 mins) and cost effective (1.5E ticket) airport transfer, which we did eventually take. The frequency is somewhat limited though, so if you can work with that timetable, its a better idea than expensive airport taxis. Just thought I should clarify this, as there seemed to be some confusion over this possibility.

Punkte + : - sehr interessante geografische Lage, sowohl in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums zu Fuß (oder direkt unter dem Zug des Hotels) und auch im Auto zugänglich zu sein. - Die Zugänglichkeit von der Autobahn ist sehr schnell. Und neben dem vom Hotel angebotenen Parkplatz (aber 8€ pro Nacht) gibt es die Möglichkeit, sich in der Nähe zu einem langen Parkplatz (24h) für 1.40€ zu parken. - sehr empfänglich Personal und sehr ruhiges Zimmer. - geräumiges Badezimmer mit Badewanne. Punkte -: - der Frühstückspreis ist relativ hoch (12€) gegenüber dem, was angeboten wird. Aber für einen kostenlosen Buffet ist das leider in den aktuellen Kosten. - der Parkpreis ist auch hoch, wenn man nicht keine Chance, einen Platz auf dem Langzeitparkplatz zu finden ...

Clean and comfortable perfect for a one night stopover. With helpful friendly staff who allowed us to chain our motorcycle to the column right outside the hotel doors under the security camera. We had originally booked a hotel in the centre but after finding out about the Crit Air charges in the larger French towns/cities (clean air zone) we cancelled it and booked this instead. It’s a 5 min walk to the tram stop which takes you right to the centre and is free on a weekend. Breakfast was decent and they also give you 10% discount voucher for the steakhouse next door which isn’t too bad.

Während ich regelmäßig durch Frankreich reise, meine Übernachtung in ganz anderen Hotels. Das Campanile Hotel in Clermont Ferrand bleibt einer der Favoriten, vor allem wenn Sie am Sonntag reisen, wenn Restaurants in ländlichen Gebieten nahe zum Abend. Die Zimmer sind effizient, aber komfortabel mit modernen Badezimmern und perfekt sauber. Optional kann ein vernünftiges Frühstück mit Selbstbedienung bestellt werden. Das Rezeptionspersonal ist freundlich. Die gemeinsamen Bereiche umfassen eine Außenterrasse (nicht hohe Erwartungen an die Aussicht), ein Fernseherraum und eine Bar. Das Hotel verfügt über einen großen, sicheren Untergrundpark, der groß ist, wenn Sie mit einem voll beladenen Auto reisen. Von der Autobahn zum Hotel dauert appr 10 Minuten Letzte, aber nicht weniger, der Zug, mit einer Haltestelle vor dem Hotel, dauert weniger als 15 Minuten zum Stadtzentrum mit vielen Restaurants auf Sonntagsnacht geöffnet.

Wir blieben hier wegen seiner Nähe zum Rugby-Stadion plus mit einem Autopark. Einchecken war fehlerfrei. Unser Zimmer war groß, komfortabel und sauber. Das Bett war komfortabel und die Dusche mächtig (wir hatten auch ein separates Bad!). Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und blieb im Allgemeinen frisch und aufgerissen. Einfach genug Furn vom Tag an. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit - auch mit einfachen offensichtlichen Fragen. Das Hotel ist in der Mitte einer Renovierung und ist daher im Lärm des Tages.

L'emplacement de l hôtel est très bien, mais au niveau du premier étage (côté qui donne sur les feux rouges )il faudrait peut être changer les fenêtres pour ne plus entendre les véhicules qui s 'arrêtent et redémarre surtout à 7 h . Le petit déjeuner est très bien il y a de tout.Les chambres sont propres mais la douche avait des traces noires au niveau des joints. Il y a aussi un bruit de compteur ou ventilation, dans le couloir du premier étage qu'on entend dans les chambres . Heureusement le personnel est très agréable il y a toujours une personne pour vous répondre...le petit salon est très sympa et le bar restaurant et un vrai plus...Les réceptionnistes sont souriants et répondent à vos questions gentiment, la personne en service le soir est très gentil,il pose des questions pour savoir si vous passez un bon séjour. J'y retournerai mais peut être pas une chambre côté rue !

Das Hotel hat alle Erwartungen, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, einfache Eincheckung, saubere und gut eingerichtete Zimmer, britische TV-Kanäle und nahe dem Zentrum und den Straßenbahnen besiegt. Nur unten war die Bar am Wochenende geschlossen, und wenn Sie eine fair Anzahl von Rugby-Fans haben sie einen Trick verpasst. Ich würde dieses Hotel empfehlen, wenn Sie nach Clermont gehen.

GGuest UserDas Hotel liegt gut wenn man auf dem Circuit de Charade fahren möchte. Der große Parkplatz ermöglicht auch Trailer abzustellen (wenn es nicht zu voll ist.....) was für mich ausschlaggebend für die Buchung gewesen ist. Wenn man essen gehen will muss man sich auswärts orientieren, Frühstück gibt es 06:00 und es ist die ganze Nacht jemand an der Rezeption. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und es ist alles sauber und ordentlich, die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett.

We arrived on a drizzly cold night and I was so glad there is a restaurant in the hotel. In fact there are 2 restaurants , one on the ground floor which we visited and the other on the roof. The rooms are very functional but nice and clean with all you need for an overnight stop. The only downside for the room was that it was too hot and since we had our cats with us we could not open the windows to cool it down. Tried turning down the heating but nothing seemed to change. The restaurant was good with very chatty and friendly staff. I had a tuna steak served with a rôsti cake and some fresh vegetables and it was very good. We had a bottle of AOC Ventoux red wine which was very pleasant. For dessert a chocolate tart which had an unusual pink base but tasted good. The restaurant manager arranged for a magician who was working the other restaurant to come to our table an do a few tricks which was a nice touch. The breakfast was simple but good and we set off well refreshed the next day.

GGuest UserIch ging in dieses Hotel und hatte gute Hoffnung, denn alles schien einfach: Resa ok, Parkplatz nahe ok, nahe dem Arbeitsplatz ok. Aber... denn ja, es gibt ein aber. Personnel d’accueil surcharge et préférant s’occuper d’un groupe plutôt qu’une seule personne. L’odeur en entrant dans la chambre est immonde. 28° dans la chambre et pas de climatisation ou aération -＞ I’ai contacté la réception et il m’a été répondu que l’hôtel n’a pas de climatisation car il a un éco-label et que je n’ai qu’à ouvrir la fenêtre. Es wurde mir gesagt, dass es eine Lüftungsturm im Laden gibt. Hier mache ich Spaß und Ironie: ecolabel mais l'électricité pour le ventilateur c'est écologique cela ?? ! Ich füge hinzu, dass das offene Fenster, c'est infernal ! Geräusch bis 3 Uhr morgens und 5 Uhr und geräuchert wieder. Schließlich das Frühstück. Eine verrückte Welt und Menschen, die sich verärgern...darunter Menschen, die zerstören. Ich ’indikiere à la personne de l’accueil qui tel un cerbère m’avait demandé sans domicile mon numéro de chambre, que vu le monde, je vais prendre mon petit-déjeuner dans mon chambre. Elle m’invective et me dit que je n’ai pas le droit...ce sont des appartements équipés d’une cuisine cependant! Je n’ai pas pris ce petit-déjeuner parce que j’ai jugé que les conditions n’étaient pas assez sûres par les temps qui courent. Für info habe ich mir das Angebot an dem Frühstück angesehen: schlechte Maschine Kaffee, rekonstituiertes Orangensaft, kleine Fettwachse, Yaourts... wenig Wahl. Gleichzeitig ist es keine Versorgung, da die Person, die dafür verantwortlich ist, hinter dem Plexiglass ist und überwacht die Ankunftsmitglieder anstatt ihre Arbeit zu tun. Kurz gesagt, eine Katastrophe. In 4 Nächten werde ich nur 2. Ich gehe wohin ich am besten empfangen bin.

Schöne geräumige Zimmer und sehr komfortable Bettwäsche Kleine Aufnahmezimmer im alten Stil Hotel sehr hell mit Loggia und Terrasse angelegt am Hintergrund, sicherlich sehr angenehm Sommer Schöne Auswahl an Zeitschriften, der Manager bietet uns sogar einen Stadtplan! Ich empfehle Ihnen, dass Sie mit den Leistungen dieses Hotels sehr überrascht sind, wenn Sie in Clermont-Ferrand wechseln, viel billiger als Ibis und Gesellschaft...

Auf dem Weg gibt es keine Probleme, polit, hilfsbereites Personal. NICHT das Fall auf dem Weg zurück Freitag 26/8. Rude unbehilfliches Personal, das wollte, dass einer von uns für einen Drink zu bezahlen, aber ohne Preisliste. Wenn Sie angefragt, ist die Preisliste offensichtlich privat und kein Eingang konnte gegeben werden! Schreien heraus, dass jemand auf dem Make. Auch das Personal kam in eine der Zimmer, während wir Autos laden und hatte nicht einmal herausgefunden, was völlig unannehmbar ist. So leider verpasste man am Samstag 14 Frühstück 27/8, wie wir alle anderswo gingen. Ich weiß, dass es sich um ein Budgethotel handelt, aber ich hoffe nicht, dass man an den Kunden schreien wird, wenn wir Kunden zahlen. Ich möchte mit jemandem darüber sprechen, dass man etwas Geld zurückzahlt und einige Ihrer Mitarbeiter müssen in Kundendienst geschult werden und auch bequem nicht verstehen Englisch, was nicht, was angekündigt wird! Sehr schlechte Erfahrung und definitiv nicht glücklich.

As very regular users of Accor hotels we found this hotel to be up to the high standard that you would expect from the Accor group. Clean, well organised and totally satisfactory. However, unusually, the restaurant attached to this hotel is totally unacceptably poor. Admittedly it is not expensive but my “pièce de boeuf” was totally inedible and with so much sinew that even a steak knife couldn't cut it and my wife's piece of duck was equally horrible. The waiter kindly agreed to change the duck for salmon tartare, which, disappointingly, proved to be totally tasteless. An Ibis Styles Hotel should have a restaurant of a far higher standard attached to it. We will not be returning as being on the edge of the town it seems unlikely that there will be a better independent restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. A great disappointment.

115052013DFDas Hotel hatte unsere Reservierung nicht. Es stellte sich heraus, das sie gecancelt wurde. Nur - wir waren es nicht. Offenbar ein Fehler im IHG Buchungssystem. Nun ja, man gab uns ein Zimmer. Natürlich war es teurer, als wenn wir unsere Reservierung hätten. Das Zimmer ist winzig! Und laut Rezeption gibt es keine größeren Zimmer. Wir könnten natürlich zwei nehmen, mit Verbindungstür. Das kostet dann auch das Doppelte. Das Größte im Raum ist die Dusche. Am Bett kommt man kaum vorbei, egal ob links, rechts oder vorne. Es gibt keinen Kasten, nur eine Art Vorzimmergarderobe - hinter dem Bett, beim Fenster, mit ein paar Kleiderbügel. Das Bad ist, abgesehen von der schon erwähnten Dusche, ebenfalls winzig. Man kann sich da gerade mal umdrehen. In der hoteleigenen Parkgarage war nichts mehr frei. Draußen kann man mit Glück einen Parkplatz finden, allerdings tagsüber gebührenpflichtig. Das hauseigene Restaurant: wir haben zuerst das Abendessen dort eingenommen. Der Kellner war sehr nett, sprach auch ein wenig Englisch. Das Essen war leider nicht besonders. Das Fisch-Casolle schmeckte zwar gut, der Steak war allerdings zäh und geschmacklos, das Clubsandwich fad, ohne Geschmack. Aber das war noch Hochleistung gegenüber dem Frühstücksbuffet. Dermaßen lieblos, appetitverderbend dargeboten, dass wir verzichtet haben. Die Eierspeise sah aus wie am Tag davor gemacht und aufgewärmt. Das Gleiche galt für Alles andere. Bei den kalten Speisen war alles sehr grob geschnitten und unappetitlich. Das einzig Positive neben dem Kellner am Abend waren die Damen an der Rezeption : freundlich, hilfsbereit. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert! Bloß nicht!

Der Teil der Archäologie ist es wert, zu sehen, viele römische Dinge stammen, und alle Texte sind Französisch. Das Museum zeigt auch die Ergebnisse der lokalen Archäologie sowie die Adresse und andere Ausstellungen.

SszcidDie Kirche des Heiligen Mutters, die im Jahr 1248 gegründet wurde, ist ein typischer Gothic-Gebäude, inspiriert von Kirchengebäuden aus der Insel de France in der Großstadt Paris. Die einzigartige Stelle dieser Kirche ist schwarz, nicht nur schwarz im Ganzen, sondern auch schwarz, weil es die einzige Kirche ist, die mit Vulkanstein gebaut wurde. Zwei "Leinen" ziehen sich in den Himmel, zwei große Blumenfenster sind sehr schön und es lohnt sich zu sehen.
