Immaculate Gardens. Helles sauberes Empfangsbereich. Ein sehr warmer Willkommen vom Personal. Dann geht es von dort hinunter! Ein schmutzig gefärbtes Teppich in den Korridoren. Das Zimmer ist groß, mit schmutzigen alten Möbeln und schmutzigen Gürteln. Das Badezimmer ist sauber, aber sieht nicht gut aus, da die Gründung Aufmerksamkeit braucht. Es gibt eine schmutzige Fläche, um Ihren Tee/ Kaffee ... durch einen Schrank zu machen!! Es gibt einen Safe, Haartrockner, Eisen und Eisenplatte. Die Luftkon-Einheit ist schmutzig. Das Bett ist komfortabel, aber die Blätter haben Marken auf ihnen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, außer Wochenenden. Wenn es von außerhalb von Familien überschritten wird, kommen in!! Der Pool hat auch schreiende Kinder, die umlaufen und springen in ....its Bettlam. Vermeiden Sie Wochenenden. Ich würde dem wunderschönen Personal 5 von 5 geben, aber das Zimmer schlägt nur 3 von 5. Scham das Zimmer ist so ein Latdown. Wir mögen das kleine Dorf 5 Minuten zu Fuß, versuchen Sie Blue Ginger Café. Es gibt ein Essen Gericht in der kleinen Mall. Gehen Sie aus dem Hotel, drehen Sie sich links, links wieder. Es gibt einen Supermarkt mit einem Backen befestigt. Liebe Pizzas, essen Sie in oder nehmen Sie für $15. Für uns würden wir nicht wieder in Tanoa bleiben, wir erwarteten besser.

We had the good fortune to stay at this delightful Fijian owned resort on Bekana island for 16 nights in Feb.2023. Because it was the low season, it was very quiet so we received undivided attention and were treated like royalty. We didn’t mind the warm rain as it beat the Canadian winter. On rainy days we relaxed in the reception area perused the internet, played cards, learned how to play pool and showed the staff how to play table tennis. Because it was warm we could still kayak,go snorkelling and use the pool. The pool was small but big enough to aquasize. We stayed in a clean ocean front bure and were thankful for the AC. The groundskeeper worked so hard to keep our beach clean of debris that was frequently washed up from Lautoka. The resort was frequented by day trippers but they posed no problem to us who were staying long term. The staff worked so hard to make sure we were comfortable and even prepared a beautiful Birthday cake for my husband and surprised him with a special Birthday celebration. It was very touching. Thank you Joey! Va was always available to help us with excursions and was very professional. She arranged transport for us using a reliable taxi service. Our driver Krish was so polite and a wealth of knowledge. We felt so safe in his car as he was a courteous and careful driver having been a driving instructor for 38 years. Louisa took us to her church in the mountains so we could listen to the beautiful choir one Sunday. Such a unique experience most tourists don’t get to enjoy. Kartika prepared the most delicious breakfasts for us with an Indian flare. We appreciated that as we are not used to just having sweet cakes for breakfast which seems to be the norm in Fiji. The fish and chips were a favourite for us and the stir fry’s. The pizza was very large but would prefer that ketchup be kept off it. The drinks the bartender made looked delicious but we only had the buckets of beer.Somedays we went across the water on the skiff for dinner elsewhere but always felt bad for leaving our “ home” on Bekana island. The skiff was available most times but if you came back later at night it wasn’t always easy to contact the island for a ride back. Not fun if the mosquitoes were hungry as we waited on the pier. The grounds around the resort were lovely and in the morning we were sometimes visited by a few chickens or goats who were curious and a resident cat. At night the frogs went a hopping! One day we had the opportunity to go to one of the outer islands for half a day. We picnicked,explored the island and snorkelled. It was a wonderful day with great weather and clear water. When it came time to leave, all the day staff were there to sing us a farewell song. We all felt very emotional as we felt we were leaving family. We were so fortunate to be off the beaten track and experience what the real Fiji is all about. We wish the resort good luck on the new addition of their water park ( largest in Fji) Vinaka, Belo Vula!

5 Sterne Preise, 3 Sterne Qualität. Unser Keller war wunderschön, aber nicht 5 Sterne. Das Gesamtaussehen wurde verbracht. Das Moskito Net war preiswert und hatte zahlreiche Löcher. Das Gepäck in der Badezimmer war getannt und russig, das Kanu Dach war gefüllt... nicht viel, aber wenn sie $720 FJ pro Nacht zahlen, sollte es priest. Wir hatten die Fiji Orchidee für zwei Nächte gebucht, um meinen 65. Geburtstag zu feiern, was die zweite Nacht sein sollte. Das war ein Highlight unserer Reise nach Fiji. Wir planen, mein Geburtstags Abendessen im Orchideen zu haben, nachdem wir dort unsere erste Nacht gegessen haben, haben wir unser Plan geändert. Ich bestellte den Verzehr ($26) es war ein kleiner Service mit ein paar Vegetationen in ihm, schmecklos und zerkleinert. Ich bestellte die cremeigen gekurrten Pflaumen, da meine Haupt ($40) die Pflaumen (mehrere kleine Pflaumen oder große Schalen) über kocht und hart waren. Und sie waren nicht in einer Curry-Sahne, sondern ein süßes Meeresfrüchte-wie Sahne. Der genaue Sauce wurde als Gewürz im Boatshed serviert, wo wir für meinen Geburtstags Abendessen endeten. (und hatte eine ausgezeichnete Mahlzeit) Der schlimmste Teil des Abends war der Service. Ich bemerke, dass unser Server “in Training” war, sie war schön, aber überangekommen. Sie schwimmte, ging durch, ständig überprüfte unsere Fortschritte und bereit, die fertigen Artikel zu wischen. Mitten im Essen habe ich meine Forke runtergelegt, um einen Drink zu nehmen, sie war sofort da und fragte, ob ich getan worden wäre. Es war kein entspannendes Essen, ich verließ das Essen fühlte sich stressig und unzufrieden mit dem Essen und dem Service. Ich sagte meinem Mann, ich werde nicht zurück zum Geburtstags Abendessen gehen!

Das Personal war freundlich. Wir buchten eine Familienvilla über Tripadvisor Plus für 2 Nächte. Unser Flug auf der Fidschi-Luft war geplant, um morgens bei 6AM anzukommen. Sie hielten das Zimmer für uns und es war bereit, als wir bei 7AM ankamen. Das Zimmer war auf der Erdgeschosssebene. Das Personal hat uns in eine Villa näher zum Essen und zum Pool versetzt, weil meine Frau mit einem Kaninchen und einem kürzeren Spaziergang besser für sie ist. Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Ich würde wieder bleiben.

We had a great stay at the Fiji Gateway hotel! The rooms were clean and in great condition and the showers had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water - perfect for helping us relax as we continued our trip. As opposed to other hotel rooms in Fiji, the air conditioning worked great and the safe in the room was in good working condition - something that is always important for protecting your valuables and travel documents. This was a perfect place for us to stay when we had to fly out of Nadi airport for our flight to the island of Taveuni. On this night, we ate at the restaurant which had excellent, friendly staff and good food. But the thing we remember the most about this hotel were the 2 live musicians Igenasio and Joape who play in the bar and restaurant. During our meal, I kept pausing and saying to my wife, ”listen to this awesome music”! Just about every day for the rest of our trip I kept saying to my wife, ”did I say how awesome those musicians at the Fiji Gateway hotel were?” On our final night in Fiji, just before we went to Nadi airport, we went back to the Fiji Gateway hotel to see if Igenasio and Joape were playing in the restaurant and bar area. Guess what? They were! I was beyond excited to see them and told them that we came back to the hotel just to find them. They did not disappoint and played 2 songs that we requested as well as songs requested by others. They are a great duo and they complement each other with their lead singing and harmony. We'll always remember this final night in Fiji at the Gateway Hotel!

The home stay is conveniently located close to the airport, at just around 10-15mins walk, but don't follow Google Maps, as they'd provide a wrong inexistent path. The host is very helpful and the amenities are pretty basic but good enough for a one night stay. Towels and soaps are provided. Some kitchen utensils are also available for use or one could order some food from the home stay directly. Finally, good amount of parking is also available.

Staying at the hotel was a good experience. We were welcomed with bright smiles by the staff. They escort us to our room, explain everything about the room and then remind us that they will always be there if we need any help. The room that we booked is facilitated well. The location is the best as it has the best view I have ever seen. You can see the sunset from your balcony as well as mountains and also you can clearly see the nafi airport sign as you can see on the photo. The hotel is clean and they do room services everyday. Also, they always remind their guests about their breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their service was soo good. Everything about this hotel is brilliant. LOVED IT!

Dienst: Der Service ist sehr gut, helfen Sie den Gepäckraum zu besuchen, Die Einrichtungen sind etwas schlecht, nehmen Sie Ihren Slip mit. Anderenfalls ist es gut, die Füße zu waschen, die Badewanne auch selbst zu nehmen. Es gibt keine Schleifen und eine Kleidung. Die Nacht schlafen Sie vor einem kalten Band. Das Hotel ist im Vergleich zum örtlichen Preis gut.
