Das Hotel hat eine Menge zu empfehlen. Es ist in einem schönen alten Gebäude, das sich liebevoll anschaut, mit glänzenden Holzwerke überall und großzügig proportionalen Schlafzimmern (sowie umfangreiche öffentliche Zimmer). Es wäre jedoch falsch, vorzuschlagen, dass es alles altmodisch ist: der TV war hi-spec und das WiFi funktionierte sehr gut. Das Frühstück war auch ausgezeichnet, mit großer Auswahl. Insgesamt ist es wahrscheinlich die beste der vier Orte, die wir während eines kürzlich in Teneriffa geblieben haben. Sehr empfohlen.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön. Perfekt auf dem Stadtplatz gelegen (das bedeutet, dass Parkplätze schwierig sind, also auf dem (freien ) alten Fußballplatz 2 Blocks entfernt, auf dem Meer vor - Raumbeutel). Charmante, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter-Nuria und Aleksandra waren großartig für Restaurant-Empfehlungen und andere Tipps. Sie setzen Sie beim Ankunftsmitglied in das Hotel WhatsApp. Gabriella lief das Frühstücksbuffet- wirklich ausgezeichnet, viele Wahlmöglichkeiten. Ich empfehle die Upgrade auf eine Junior Suite. Hotel Restaurant (Silogia) ist das beste für Meilen um so buchen, wenn Sie ankommen (die Menschen werden immer wieder weggeworfen, als wir da waren).

The hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms are spacious with a separate bedroom. Kitchen has few utensils and pans and kettles so basic foods can be cooked. Balconies have two chairs and a table. Be aware that the balcony floor is very slippery when wet. Building D next to the road can be a bit noisy at times, trash truck beeping early in the morning etc. Hotel has a minimarket with mostly sandwiches, chocolate bars, beer and wine. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, lots of fruit, bread and cereal but not much meat. Same goes with the dinner. Don't trust Google maps, there's no easy route to Puerto de la Cruz centrum. The area surrounding the hotel is steep hills to every direction. Sidewalks are narrow if they exist at all. Nearest grocery stores are closer to 10 minute walk away. Few restaurants are nearby. There is one hotel next to this one but otherwise the neighbourhood is fully inhabited by locals. We enjoyed our stay a lot though we found out that the only viable way to travel between the hotel and Puerto de la Cruz was taxi.

This hotel was a huge disappointment. For the price we paid, I would definitely go somewhere else. I booked a room for myself and two kids (16 and 11) on a booking platform that described the room as suitable for three people, with a maximum of two adults. I assumed it would be a double or twin room with an extra bed for a child. However, when we arrived to check-in in the evening, they told us they had no record of three guests, only two adults, and that we could not stay in the room we had selected. They gave us a bigger apartment and asked me to come to the front desk the next morning to resolve the situation. I must say that the gentleman at the front desk during the evening shift was sincerely apologetic and showed empathy. However, the front desk man in the morning was a completely different story. He was rude and arrogant, and I've never experienced such poor hospitality. He showed no acknowledgement of their incorrect advertisement. They claimed that the room we selected was only suitable for two adults, with a maximum of one two-year-old child. I took the time to search through several different platforms where this ”family-friendly” hotel was listed, and on all of them, it stated that children up to the age of 13 were free of charge. However, in our case, we were asked to pay extra for our 11-year-old, which amounted to a 50% increase in the original price. With poor English skills, the only argument they had was several times ”It's not my problem. You pay now or leave!” - without getting back any money for the rest of the nights, of course. In the end, we paid the price and were reimbursed by the booking platform afterward, although I'm quite certain it was the hotel's fault. Mistakes do happen, but the rudeness and poor attitude of the staff were unacceptable. I don't see the hotel as family-friendly, friendly, or even polite at all. As for the hotel itself, the amenities were quite old, as evidenced by the condition of the rooms, restaurant, and outdoors. The pool was literally colder than the ocean, and nobody could stay in it for more than five minutes. For the original price, I would say it's about average, but after the 50% increase we paid, the hotel is way below average, and I would rather find a better hotel in a better location. To top it off, when we were leaving breakfast, one lady working in the restaurant got hysterical about our 11-year-old taking an APPLE from the breakfast buffet - how silly and rude reaction, especially to a kid.
