As a family hotel, you won’t find better! The whole hotel and beautifully cleaned and maintained and the staff just wonderful. The variety of food at every meal is outstanding as well as the quality. The kids loved the kids club which we used for 3 mornings, giving us a chance to have some time as a couple. On reflection, we would have booked them in even more as they enjoyed it so much. The evening entertainment and mini disco were great, a different show every night (and we stayed 10) and for a calmer alternative, the other bar had live music. The swimming pools are lovely but a little bit on the cold side. The hotel is located close to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants as well as a lovely beach. I made it to the hotel gym once while we were there. It is well equipped and I believe there was a spin class available as well as some other aerobics and aqua classes. There are activities running most of the day for kids or adults and one morning my husband I went shooting a rifle and bow and arrow with Mario from the entertainment ‘blue team’. Mario was fantastic as were the rest of the team. Cannot recommend enough and we will be returning.

Das Hotel hat 2 Pools, ich habe den kleinen bevorzugt, da er nicht so überfüllt war. Der einzige negative Punkt war der Lärm aus der Sportbar. Unsere englischen Mit-Gäste sind halt einfach ein bisschen laut, wenn sie ein paar Biere getrunken haben. Also haben wir halt das Fenster erst nachdem die Bar zugegangen ist, aufgemacht.

Stayed as a family of 4 in a “beech front apartment” as advertised, they just didn’t mentioned it was a man made beech directly on front of apartment & the main beech is a rock beech a bit misleading from the get go. Arrived at 9pm were given a map to try & find the apartment which seemed like a maze, it’s a shame guests are not shown to at least their apartment block. Apartments were clean, but in desperate need of a facelift, the front door was a work out to try and open & close, the couch was so old it was falling apart, the curtains were hanging of the railing, the wardrobes were falling apart.. the man with glasses at reception was so rude when I asked him For change , no manners whatsoever a simple no I am sorry I have no change would have been suffice rather than shouting I am not a bank. All other staff were pleasant & helpful. The positive is it has a supermarket close by & the centre (where the restaurants & bars) is a short taxi ride away €4. The golden sand beech is a 5 minute 5 walk away. Costa Teguise is a beautiful resort, with good bar’s & restaurants & a fab beech which my kids loved.

We had a lovely week's stay here with our two children, aged four and six. Having read previous reviews, we decided to stay in a one-bedroom apartment and sacrifice space for guaranteed air-conditioning. After sleeping really well during the week, I am very pleased with our choice, as we didn't spend much time in our apartment anyway. The resort is nice, although there is quite a bit of litter, and we were disappointed that our room's view was disrupted by building works right in front of it. We didn't eat in the hotel at all, so I cannot comment on the food, but there are plenty of really good local places, and we enjoy getting out and about. We did have drinks at the pool bar which was reasonable and the children enjoyed the table football most days. Sadly, the children didn't enjoy the pool as much as we had hoped due to it being quite cold and filled with fresh water. We spent a significant amount of time in the indoor pool; my husband and I took turns swimming lengths while the other played with the children in the heated small kids' pool. The kids attended the kids' club a couple of times and enjoyed that experience. The highlight for us was the bowling alley, which we visited three times, although it costs 20 euros per game. I am not sure if we would return, mostly because of the pool.

We recently returned from a wonderful week-long half board stay at Hotel Siroco in Costa Teguise. We stayed in the Serenity Area, marketed as the calm and relaxed part of the hotel with premium apartments. Our first-floor apartment was spotlessly clean, well-furnished, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The living area with a kitchenette opened out to a balcony overlooking the pool, a view shared by all Serenity apartments (though some offer slightly better views depending on the angle). The apartment itself was well designed. The bathroom featured a beautiful shower with a constant supply of hot water, while the bedroom was spacious, with a comfortable bed, ample wardrobe space, and plenty of shelving. It was also nice to see plenty of plug sockets, which is often overlooked. The kitchen was stocked with useful amenities, including a kettle, toaster, electric coffee maker, two-ring hob and a fridge. While we didn’t use the hob, the kitchen was perfect for making tea, coffee, and occasionally some toast at lunchtime. A minor note: there’s no air conditioning, which could be an issue during hotter months, though we found the October night air to be comfortable. Fans are available for rent if needed. For secure storage, safes are available in the apartments for a fee of €15 per week, with a refundable deposit of €20. One of the standout features of Hotel Siroco was its impressive cleanliness and upkeep. The hotel staff were constantly maintaining the property, from painting to gardening to thorough cleaning. However, all of this was done so unobtrusively that it didn’t interfere with our holiday at all. It was refreshing to see a hotel so committed to maintaining its appearance. The Serenity Area’s pool is beautifully maintained, with ample space, greenery, and an inviting atmosphere. Sunbeds are chained overnight, but there were always plenty available once the pool opened from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., which made for a relaxed experience without the early “dash for sunbeds.” We noticed that guests on the other area of the hotel would start claiming sunbeds around 9:50 a.m., standing by until the sunbeds were unchained. It’s possible that securing a sunbed could be more challenging on that side, but thankfully, this wasn’t an issue in the Serenity Area. As for the pool itself – yes, it was a bit cold on entry, but once you took the plunge, it was refreshing and perfect for cooling off from the sun. In fact, the cool water was quite invigorating! Both breakfast and dinner at Hotel Siroco were excellent. Breakfast offered everything from cereals, fruits and yogurts to pastries and a full fry-up. For dinner, the buffet had a wonderful selection each night, including salads, soups, and a variety of mains, with tempting desserts to finish. The variety and quality made it all too easy to overindulge! Although the hotel offered some evening entertainment, we preferred to explore the nearby resort centre each evening. The hotel

This was our 10th visit here! We have always come here as it has been our paradise! This visit I have only rated 4 star for the reasons being we were a couple who have always requested a ground floor pool view junior suite. On arrival which was 21.45 we were told they only had a family room available! Which we took has we’d been travelling all day and just wanted to chill out! The room was ok but there was no pool view instead our balcony was facing the building site. Again we were told they were full!so we just bared with it and never used the balcony which was disappointing! From day 1 we went to reception and asked different staff about a late checkout! Was told come back the day before so the day before I went back and was told come back the day of checkout! I stated I had been asking all week just to secure this as our flight was 22.30. Was told again to come back on checkout day! So the next day at 8 in the morning went back and was told NO as they were full!! What is the point of trying to give enough notice ? The hotel to me was overbooked all the time! We have been coming 8 years and never seen it as full! Sun beds reserved from crack of dawn every day! Also on the day of check out we were given a bill to settle from the pool bar which wasn’t ours! The same happened to another couple who checked out the same time as us too so the management need to find out who is having free drinks and giving other peoples room numbers! A better more secure system needs to be in place as this is fraud and theft!! Whether we will decide to come back an 11th time we don’t know!

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer mit kleiner Bucht zum Baden. Eine schöne Anlage/ Poolanlage, einer der Pools war beheitzt. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber mit schönem Balkon und Blick aufs Meer. Die Hotelbar war richtig klasse inmitten von Teichen und tropischen Pflanzen angelegt. Abends mit Live-Musik und Shows. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Essen war abwechslungsreich gut, mit Sekt zum Frühstück. Wenn man etwas schärfer isst, muß man mit Chillis/ Tabasco etc. Nachwürzen. Es gibt viele kleine Shops zum Bummeln sowie Restaurants gegenüber dem Hotel. Wir haben uns ein Wagen ausgeliehen und tolle Ausflüge gemacht. Ein Tag den nördlichen Teil, ein Tag den südlichen Teil der Insel. Was man verbessern kann (müsste) ist die WiFi Verbindung im Hotel (bricht immer ab und zum Teil nicht überall verfügbar).
