Cute, charming property, however the service was HORRIBLE. The owner even screamed at me! We were a group of 12 people walking the Camino. The first person of my group arrived by herself, and they didn’t want to send her a taxi as it was promised on the reservation. They said that they don’t send taxis for just one passenger, and this client Sofia, had to wait two hours for her parents to join her, and then, the hotel sent the taxi. She was by herself two hours in a restaurant without knowing what to do. The booking company never informed us that in order to receive a taxi a minimum of guests was required. The waiter at the restaurant at dinner times was distracted, mixing orders, and trying to convince one of my clients that he can’t take a Martini and a glass of wine at the same time! One or the other! Who cares! If the client pays for both drinks, the waiter is nobody to be judging a client’s drinking behavior. One of the guests requested salt three times for French fries, with no results. He finally went to another table to ask other hotel guests for the salt they had in their table. And I can continue for hours describing the lack of professionalism in this place. We are all Spanish speaking, therefore no language barrier. The owner, as I said, he was very arrogant and uneducated. I was talking to him, standing by his table, while he was eating cheese and bread. He never stopped eating and/or invited me to the table, and/or standing so he can be talking to me at the same physical level (basic rules of education); I addressed the taxi situation in addition to the fact that they left my luggage into another client’s room, making this totally inappropriate for them and for me. Can you imagine if there was something missing from our suitcase? Who is responsible? Well, this man said that it was this client’s fault to “accept” these suitcases into their room. Unbelievable!! He was one of these persons “My way or the highway.” Rooms have no AC, no elevator, and no phones! I had one towel only for two guests, and when I was in the shower, I noticed it and there was no phone to call the receptionist. The shower gel dispenser was empty. The room was not clean. When I addressed these issues to the lady in the morning at checkout (I am suspicious that she was his wife) she just said “Vale” (Ok) No apologies, she was not surprised, and she mentioned that if I wanted another towel, I should have used my cellular. I replied that making an international phone call to request a towel was totally unthinkable. Last, we were “lucky” to have the owner driving us back to the Camino. He never opened us the door, or the trunk; never helped with our luggage; he was comfortable seated by the wheel all the time. And he drove us super-fast to intimidate us. Terrible! Stay away from this place.

We were a group of 35 persons touring Galicia for four days. Santiago de Compostela is a good central starting point for such tours. The hotel has a rich breakfast. The rooms are spacy and clean, the beds comfortable. If you suffer of vertigo, you'd better ask for a room in the lower floors. Our criticism concerns mostly their bar. Some of us like white vermuth. Their stock of white vermuth went out in two days. Friends ordered Irish coffee. They got cold coffee mixed with some whiskey. In a rainy evening some rainwater was dropping from the 10th floor roof window onto one table in the bar. We had a common dinner in the last evening in the hotel. All three courses were different from what was ordered.

Es gibt eine umweltfreundliche Politik, so dass die Blätter und Handtücher nur auf Anfrage geändert werden. Ich blieb in einem Zimmer mit einer Terrasse auf einem Doppelbett und es war komfortabel und schön. Es ist gut, bis zum Abend zu reinigen und am Nachmittag zu verlassen, um das Zimmer zu reinigen oder die Blätter zu ändern. Sie können auch Waschbecken verlassen, aber es ist teuer.

Estuvimos alojados en un apartamento en la planta superior el pasado mes de diciembre y ha sido una de las mejores experiencias que hemos tenido últimamente. Apartamento luminoso, reformado, espacioso y totalmente equipado. Zona muy tranquila e ideal, se encuentra en la zona universitaria, fácil acceso y para encontrar aparcamiento por las noches. Si tuviera que poner una pega, sería la presión del agua caliente es débil. Personal muy amable y profesional, también agradecer a Ana y su compañero de recepción el trato tan amable y servicial que nos ofrecieron y la posibilidad de dejarnos guardar las maletas en el hotel el día del check-out, viene genial ya que muy cerca hay una parada de bus que te lleva al aeropuerto directamente. Para terminar me gustaría comentar, este punto es totalmente ajeno a la dirección o gestión de los apartamentos, y es la poca empatía que tienen algunos huéspedes cuando vuelven a altas horas de la madrugada por el descanso y derecho a dormir de los demás, y espero con este comentario poder concienciar un poco a futuros clientes, ya que normalmente leemos los comentarios y a todos nos gusta disfrutar en nuestras vacaciones, tanto de día como de noche. I mostly enjoyed my two nights at this hotel. The staff was professional, the room was clean, and breakfast was a beautiful spread. The only thing I wish my ground floor room had was a little more privacy. I wanted to read in my room during one afternoon but the curtains made it too dark and the only other option was the black-out curtains. I wish there had been a sheer curtain option because when I left the doors with no curtain, the gardeners walked by and could see into my room. Not relaxing at all. I did like that the hotel was close enough to walk to the cathedral and the city center but was far enough away to not hear a lot of noise.
