旅遊旺季，能在山區的小鎮上覓到一間房間很滿足了。這是一家家庭旅館，到的時候是下午1：30左右，沒人開門，按門鈴也沒人應答，打門口留着的電話也沒有應接，有點着急。大太陽底下乾等了半個多小時，看到有人進屋，一問才知道是男主人。這樣完成入住有點意外。
入住的衹是走廊盡頭的最後一間小屋，空調不太工作且聲音爆響，不過晚上山裡衹有14攝氏度，所以空調沒用上，也沒啥可抱怨的。

Stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks for a business trip to the Kootenay. Very comfortable bed and I love the large pillows. clean and my room has a Kitchenette (That’s definitely a plus) The restaurant next door is amazing as well. The Black Rooster Grill and Pub. you can’t miss it, there is a 7 ft rooster statue outside the entrance! overall I had a great stay. I was too busy to use the hot tub or go down the waterslide. Definitely will stay here again on my next trip.

Beim Einchecken war Simi sehr freundlich und hilfreich, um über besondere Attraktionen und Websites zusammen mit Karten und Broschüren zu erklären. Wir blieben in einem Könnenbett, das eine volle Küche hatte (die wir gründlich genossen) Juli 5-9, dann übernachten in einem Königsbett mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle Juli 13-14. Wir liebten beide Arten von Zimmern, aber die Lage des Königsbettzimmers war ruhiger. Am letzten Morgen haben wir unversehens unsere Teehandtücher trocknet (eine der Handtücher ist sentimental) Ich weiß nicht, warum ich ein gutes Teehandtücher auf Urlaub genommen habe. Ich habe angerufen, mit Simi gesprochen und fragte über die Handtücher. Simi prüfte mit der Reinigungsperson und ja, wir hatten die Handtücher in unserem Zimmer im Hotel verlassen. Simi ging oben und über ihre Aufgaben hinaus und dauerte die Zeit, zum Postamt zu gehen, die Handtücher zu packen und sie mir C.O.D. zu senden, was ich so dankbar war. Vielen Dank Simi für Ihre Güte. Wir würden sicher wieder bleiben. Zimmer sind gut und Preise sind okay. Ja, es ist nicht ein 5*, aber das Personal ist 5* plus, vor allem Simi. Vielen Dank nochmal, Cheryl Magus
