The building is only a few years old but already showing early signs of wear in public areas. However the room itself was very clean and well designed. We stayed in a base rate room and while on the smaller side was ample space for what we needed. The king bed was very comfortable and the shower was spacious and great pressure. A coffee machine with pods is provided. Access to the hotel from the west is extremely easy but if you are approaching from the east there is no way to turn right into the hotel and you have to go a fair way down the road before you can turn around and come all the way back. Once on property there is a nice curved driveway to park while you are checking in. Parking onsite was $35 but as I had read these reviews I knew to ask about the street parking and was told it would cost $15. I said ‘I thought on the weekends it was free’ and they responded ‘oh yes, we can give you complimentary parking’ (Haha). The staff were very friendly. The street parking is on the street along the nearby river (Yarra Blvd) and takes 1 min to walk across a grass parkland to this street. On the weekend it seemed a very quiet street and safe to park. This street parking is metered parking between 8am-5pm Mon- Fri so the hotel can provide a pass for $15 but if your stay is outside these hours you can park for free. The tram station is immediately out the front of this hotel so although it is a fair way from the CBD it is easy access to Melbourne. Our T.V. remote was not working (maybe old batteries) so we were unable to watch T.V. and the clock beside the bed lit up the time while the lights were on but seemed to be light activated because once all lights were switched of it also switched off so you could not see the time during the night - so keep your phone clock handy.

This place is gorgeous. Large rooms and bathrooms with everything you need being supplied.The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. I’m just disappointed I could stay longer and enjoy it some more. I Will definitely return as it’s a great location for a weekend away.

Das Hotel liegt nicht in der Stadt, aber es gibt Restaurants und Bars zum Essen. Es gibt einen Woolworth schräg gegenüber und ich habe Tofureis zum halben Preis gekauft, der hart und verdorben ist! Das Hotel soll neu eröffnet werden, die Ausstattung ist sehr neu und das Servicepersonal ist sehr begeistert. Wir haben beim Einchecken auch eine Begrüßungsgetränkekarte geschickt. (Das Zimmer ist nicht groß, aber ein oder zwei Personen sind ok. Wenn Sie ein Kind sind, können Sie eine andere größere Zimmerkategorie buchen

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ovolo South Yarra. Such a cool, funky hotel! The perks were great and the bed was so comfortable. All of the staff were lovely. My boyfriend loves art so we really enjoyed walking around and seeing all the cool art and decor. Very happy, fun vibe. Great location as well which suited us perfectly as we planned to have drinks with friends in Chapel Street that night. We were able to wander around and check out a near by gallery, Prahran market and various shops on Chapel Street. They also have a check out time of 11.00 which was so good as we find the check out time at most hotels is too early and its always a rush to get packed, shower and get ready, have breakfast and get out the door. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for a great stay. :)

Aber die Lage ist sehr praktisch, der Bahnhof und der Bahnhof sind sehr praktisch und es gibt eine große Auswahl an chinesischem Essen in den nahe gelegenen Geschäften. Die Rezeption ist ein Westler. Wenn zwei Einzelbetten zusammen gedrückt werden, um ein großes Doppel zu machen, die Blätter einfach nicht passen, endet man mit Füßen auf einer Barmatratzen. Nicht sehr hygienische. Wir fanden das Front Desk Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und freundlich.

Die Lage ist besonders gut, 30 Sekunden zu Fuß von der South Yarra-Bahnstation und dem Bahnhof kommen, wo immer es angemessen ist, bis zur Stadt 10 Minuten. Der Balkon kann die ganze Bahnstation zerstören und es gibt nichts zu großes Lärm. Es gibt alles in den Supermärkten umgebenden Hotels. Das Zimmer ist etwas klein, aber es gibt Waschmaschine und Trockner, und die Küche ist auch komplett.
