Wir blieben im Cottage. Nr. 10. Geräuschlich und trotzdem gleichzeitig gemütlich. Eine alte Welt fühlt sich und trotzdem alle Mod-Kons einschließlich einer Wärmepumpe und ein paar Fernsehgeräte, wenn Sie jemals wollen sie auf! Der See und die allgemeine Einstellung ist die perfekte Getaway. Serene in jeder Richtung. Wir essen in dem Restaurant auf allen drei Abenden. Ganz ein umfangreiches Menü, mit leckeren Angeboten einschließlich einem Chowder zu sterben. Schönes Personal im Restaurant, das muss eine Erwähnung erhalten. Alles in allem, ein toller Aufenthalt. To be honest, I was disappointed with this motel. Yes, it was fairly inexpensive (but still $200 per night), but I expected more. Good The location was great, grounds were nice, and staff were pleasant (as was the cat). The gym was a nice facility, and on-site laundry was handy. The mini-bar was basic but not too expensive unlike other hotels/motels. Bad Our room wasn't cleaned for the entire week we were there. We also got moved around from room to room, with the first one without a working shower for our first night. The beds were ridiculously uncomfortable, no mattress protectors, and about 10 years past-retirement age. My son's doona was dirty. No replacement of toilet paper - we had to ask the cleaner for some. Worst The worst part was the breakfast. They said ”kids eat free” and even their policy stipulates that children are aged under 14. Yet we had to pay for the breakfast for the kids at the end of our stay. When I questioned them on this, they said children were free if they were under 3. So really they should say ”toddlers and babies eat free”. Very very disappointed in this, as if we had known, we would have bought a pack of fruit loops in town, rather than wasting $120 on fruitloops. A rip off. I won't be staying here again or recommending this place. At the very least, stay there but read the reviews and make an informed choice.

You just feel different once settled into the Karri Valley Resort. The grounds, wildlife, quiet and simplicity of the experience makes for a total reset for mind and body. We've been coming with family for a few years now, and the kids keep finding new things to do. Bring your bikes or rent some, as the trails around the resort and BMX track bring hours of fun. Improvements * Prices seem to be increasing and for $370 a night for the standard chalet, a daily clean or at least refreshment of towels should be included. Bathrooms do tend to become a bit scummy after a few days but it seems that only the bins are emptied during your stay. * Cleaning standards upon checkin were sound, but a bit more care with vacuuming under cushions and beds would make the experience better. We requested some attention to these areas, but they were only half done. Overall, we love the place and plan to return again in 2025.
