Days 10 and 11 of our 20-day trip and we were returning to Jamala after an absence of 8 years. On that earlier trip, the place had been open for a year and a bit and was in the middle of development and expansion. Then, we'd aimed for the lions but were allocated the big bear. I stayed in the cheetah room the first night which included a session the following day for just the two of us (patting and feeding) and she stayed in the bear room. Second night, we moved to the giraffe room. It was a great stay and the huge bear was the highlight. Sadly, the bear died a while later and that room is now one of the two tiger rooms. We were very keen to return and see if we could stay with the lions this time. The deal is that they won't guarantee that you'll get what you ask for so, this time, I rang in mid-July for an early November stay. I advised that we'd really like to stay with the lions and the tigers on a 2-night visit and was told that it couldn't be guaranteed. However, they advised that, because nobody had booked for our dates yet, they would note our booking for the lions and tigers as ”First request” but, still, with no guarantees. The day before we were due to arrive, we received an email advising that we'd been allocated the tigers and we were delighted but a little disappointed that we'd missed out on the lions. However, next morning, we received another email advising that we'd been allocated the lions for our second night. Wow, major excitement ! Whilst you're invited to arrive for welcome and afternoon tea from 1pm, you can arrive earlier, drop your luggage at the lodge and wander around the zoo. So, we did. The first tour for new guests starts at 1.45 and the guides do a talk and let you hold an enormous python before that so it's worth being there at 1pm. The ”afternoon tea” is actually a vast array of hot and cold offerings (sweet and savoury) and is well worth having. The first tour takes you around the zoo to get your bearings and to interact with various animals. We were split into 2 groups and Cooper was our guide. It quickly becomes very obvious that the welfare of the animals is way above every other consideration and so it should be. Cooper was very careful to ensure that we understood zoo etiquette and a number of children from not very well supervised school groups were left in no doubt of the errors of their ways (especially one young man who Cooper had seen kick an emu. He was sorted out very quickly whilst his teachers studied their shoes intently). Cooper is a credit to the organisation and we were fortunate to have him as our guide for the encounter/feeding tour next day too. Even better, there were only 3 of us on that tour because all of the other guests were staying only one night. On that point, staying 2 nights is a must. Yes, it's a stretch financially, particularly if you're staying in one of the Jungle Bungalows eg lions and tigers but you miss out on so much and it would feel a bit rushed for a one-night stay. On

Es gibt kein Personal auf der Website und Sie müssen auf eine Pin-Nummer vertrauen, die sie Ihnen geben. Entdeckt unsere Pin-Nummer funktionierte nicht und ich hatte o gefunden sie ein anderes Hotel. Bei Kontakt waren die Mitarbeiter und insbesondere der Hotelmanager düster und beschuldigten uns, zu liegen. Sie sagten, dass das Zimmer 1730 eingegangen war (dass es nicht möglich war, da meine Großeltern mit mir Abendessen genossen hatten), sie sagten auch, dass das Haus zu bewahren sagte, dass das Zimmer verwendet wurde. Ich war gezwungen, ein anderes Zimmer in einem anderen Hotel zu buchen. Der unglaublich brutale Manager, mit dem ich persönlich gesprochen habe, weigerte sich, meine Seite der Geschichte zu hören und sagte, dass meine Großeltern die einzigen waren, die den Pin zu bekommen, was offensichtlich nicht wahr ist. Nach mehreren Versprechen, mich zurückzurufen, haben sie nie getan. absolut pathetisch. Sie haben im Wesentlichen die älteren Rentner profitiert. Bleiben Sie klar.

Sehr glücklich mit unserer Unterkunft. Wanderweite bis zum GIO-Stadion. 15-20 Min. Wandern. leichte Neigung, aber ehrlich gesagt war leichter als das Fahren Wir haben seitdem wieder einen größeren Platz für mehr Familien, die uns in ein paar Wochen beitreten. Bleiben für 2 Nächte, um die Macht Brumbies zu beobachten!

My reception by Naveen and Dorg was cheerful and helpful; they provided clear and good info regarding the hotel, parking, breakfast and meals in the adjoining Labour Club, etc. Our room on the top 9th floor had a good view towards the Lake Ginninderra, although another high rise had partially blocked the view. Our room was an end room, a more spacious upgrade offered to us by Naveen. It was very clean- every nook and cranny- compliments to housekeeping. It was also nice and bright, as was the bathroom. Decor is very modern and up to date. Bed was comfortable and we had good sleeps. The hot breakfast in the Club was of good quality and variety and good value. Parking on level3 and level4 of the carpark was easily accessible.

we had a studio apartment and it was really lovely. spacious and everything you needed. Kitchenette was great and lovely and modern and light. we were on the third floor. the car park is the wilson carpark across the road and they have a floor for the Belconnen guests. its sign posted all the way down to the floor and colour coded i think it was green.but down there is a bit confusing as there are different lifts for different things. you have to use two different lifts to get into the hotel and to your room.it was a bit confusing at first but we were there 3 nights and it was a piece of cake after that. i really reccommend this hotel it has a resturant and teh bed was kingsize and so comfotable. we loved our stay there. .we were about 15mins drive into Canberra and we went in every day doing alll the touristy things like parliament house,the mint,the war museum and the science museum. the informatin centre was fantastic and has a museum attached to it also.we loved Canberra.

This place is great. It's clean. The rooms are massive. Nice staff, no fuss or BS. Really cool area, woolies and restaurants downstairs. Surprisingly cheaper for such a nice place. About as nice as Midnight in Braddon, but cheaper. Great value. Will stay again. Thanks

選擇這家酒店也是看了攻略，綜合考慮決定的。入住後首先是被酒店內外的設計感驚艷到，非常開心。酒店整體的設施和服務還不錯，早餐廳一位亞裔女服務員的笑容和聲音讓人感到非常真誠、熱情，令人很舒服；酒吧的餐品基本是素食，但滿滿的創意感，也很好吃，還不貴（與外面飯店和商業中心的美食店比）；房間裏迷你吧裏的東西全部是免費的，有葡萄酒、啤酒、可樂、牛奶、堅果、薯片……小食品。這是一般酒店沒有的；房間很安靜，沒覺得隔音不好（也許是淡季？），酒店的衞生很好，客房的用品都很乾凈，也配有拖鞋，牙刷之類的不是必配品，但酒店是根據客人需要免費提供的，可以向前台要。不足嘛，就是客房的光線太暗（光顧追求設計感了），客人需要看亮啊！還有就是客房裡所有的門碰都不好使。

Ich habe eine Zweizimmerwohnung gebucht. Das Zimmer ist groß und geräumig. Der Blick in die Halle ist Bergblick, sehr schön. In der Halle ist die Bar, die Lichter sind gedimmt, die Musik ist köstlich, das westliche Essen ist da, das Hotel ist sehr groß, die Bar ist nur wenige, es gibt auch ein Kino. Die Dekorationen sind alles Holzleisten, ich kann sie nicht verstehen, ich empfinde besondere Kunst. Beide Schlafzimmer haben keine Fenster und sind nur ein Badezimmer. Es gibt viele Küchenutensilien und viel Geschirr. Das Frühstück ist die Art der Bestellung. Ganz in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums, ein ruhiges Hotel. Mehr als 2.000 pro Nacht wird die Rezeption nicht chinesisch sein, es ist ein Hotel für Ausländer. Canberra hat eine schöne Aussicht und ist besonders zum Wohnen geeignet.

Dieses Hotel befindet sich neben der Australian National University. Wir nahmen an der Abschlussfeier des Master-Abschlusses meiner Tochter teil. Der Aufenthalt war sehr praktisch und komfortabel. Es gibt spezielle Restaurants und Bars im Hotel.

Overpriced, inefficient and dissatisfying would be the three words I'd use to sum up my recent two-night stay at QT Canberra. While the room price was affordable enough, the food and drinks are incredibly expensive. At the bar, a glass of wine starts at a minimum of $16 for a standard size and goes up to $44 for a large (that's a glass, mind you - there's probably some good bottles that could be had for the same price, and QT's 'large' glass of wine is more like a 'medium'). At the restaurant, they’re charging around $40 for pasta, $50-$70 for steaks, $42-$48 for other mains and $18-$22 for desserts, with the wines on the wine list even more expensive than the aforementioned figures at the bar. I guess they figure they have a captive audience in the hotel, so can charge any price they like? My first night there they couldn’t do room charges at the bar due to a ”technology outage” (apparently writing on a bit of paper who ordered what and their room number and then charging it after the fact was too difficult a concept to grasp) and they didn’t even bother asking if I wanted room charges on the second night, instead just having charges paid by card as if a normal bar. I did get a discount when I showed my membership, but they were never proactive in asking and I would've certainly been paying full price had I not been diligent in showing it to them. As part of my booking, I received a $40 food and beverage voucher to be used each day, yet both at the bar and at breakfast the staff seemed perplexed by the voucher. I was told to ask the front desk about it and had to get the respective manager in each section to take over both times - why are you offering vouchers to customers if your staff don't even know what they are or how to properly handle them? Continuing the voucher madness, there's a sign you can hang on your door which promises you ”a $10 food-and-beverage voucher each night you say 'no thanks' to housekeeping”. The fine print says that ”if you wish to participate, please hang this on your door before 1:00am”. Well, I did this, and expected to get another $20 worth of vouchers when checking out, but when I asked about this (once again, I'm the one who had to be proactive about asking - spot a theme here?), I was only given one voucher despite having the sign out for both nights I stayed there. I was told because “housekeeping hasn’t been today [the day I checked out] I only get one voucher” - what a nonsensical excuse. If I hang the sign on the door on Friday night and Saturday night and check out Sunday morning, how DOESN'T that entitle me to two vouchers? Oh well, it's probably a moot point anyway - the lone voucher I did receive had an expiry date of the same day (why would I want an extra $10 to spend on the same day I'm checking out? Logic would dictate it would make much more sense to be valid for a month at any QT location in Australia or something similar). There was a long wait for breakfast, involving queuing up for 5 minut
