Our stay at BIG4 Whitsundays Tropical Eco Resort was absolutely fantastic! The resort is beautifully maintained, with lush tropical gardens that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The cabins were spotless, well-equipped, and so comfortable—everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. They were full of helpful advice about local attractions and made us feel so welcome. The facilities were top-notch, especially the pool and BBQ areas, which were ideal for relaxing and enjoying the stunning surroundings. The location is perfect for exploring the Whitsundays. It’s just a short drive to Airlie Beach, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. The eco-friendly focus of the resort is also a big plus—it feels great staying somewhere that cares about the environment.

Einfache Eincheckung auch nach Stunden, und sehr reaktive per E-Mail. Die Lage ist ein bisschen vorbei, aber es gibt einen schönen Laden und Café ca. 1.5 km Fuß nach unten eine besetzte Autobahn. Wir haben den Spaziergang nicht getan, so dass ich nicht für Schulter/Seitenwalk etc. Gutscheine. Tonnen von Familien, und viele ziemlich laut. Cockatoos und Kokaburras überall, auch laut, aber sehr lustig. Sehr schöne Grünland rund um den Park. Lokale Touren machen hier pickup. Bürostunden sind ziemlich kurz und unzuverlässig. Große Nachteilen - es gibt ein Bad für alle (außer in der Suite oder Kabinen), das sich ein ziemlich langes Spaziergang von den Grasstätten ereignet. Allerdings war es selten besetzt, auch bei der Spitzenmorgen Dusche. Nur ein 2.5-3 Minute Spaziergang vom Rücken des Parks. Die Grass-Stätten sind im Grunde die Camper’s Dog’s Toiletten und es gibt Flecken oder ein anderes kleines Bitt-Bug, das das Gras befallen. Bringt Repellent und bedeckt sich selbst, oder vermeiden Sie die Grass-Stätten. Nicht die Schuld des Eigentums, nur ein Hinweis. Wenn ich es wieder zu tun hätte, würden wir einen en suite Campingplatz reservieren - mehr privat, mit Toiletten. Allgemein, ok, aber nicht groß, wenn Sie Kinder frei sind und suchen einen ruhigen Ort.

The rooms are amazing. The service from the staff was above and beyond, we had a very early start on Sunday and the open the kitchen early for us to enjoy a continental breakfast before our long day. We have 9 rooms and everyone slept very well. We will be staying here again next year. Thank you for a great weekend.

Wir haben uns in Mango House geliebt. Es ist nur 5 Minuten mit dem Bus zum Airlie Beach Centre und hat ein Supermarkt, Café und Postbüro direkt über die Straße von ihm entfernt. Das Zimmer war erstaunlich - als Backpacker waren wir sehr aufgeregt, einen Waschmaschine und einen Trockner kostenlos zu sehen! Der Pool und der Garten sind auch wunderschön. 10/10 würde empfehlen. Pam, der Besitzer, war ein Geschirr und hat uns sogar am Bushalte gesetzt, um unseren Griechenbus zu fangen.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon and Simon, the owner, was there waiting for us at the property! He helped us with our bags, and showed us to our apartment on the 3rd floor after a quick elevator ride. The apartment had all amenities -- full kitchen, washer/dryer combo (which we took advantage of after traveling for two full weeks before our arrival at Harbour Cove), comfortable living room furniture, and a double-sink huge bathroom with both a shower and a separate soaking tub ensuite to the separate bedroom. Simon was most attentive when we discovered that there was not enough detergent or towels for our needs when we arrived at the apartment. He left and returned in a matter of minutes with the needed items, and left them for us on the dining room table. He didn't disturb us while we were relaxing on the balcony enjoying the magnificent views, which was very sweet! The views were stunning, and we enjoyed relaxing on the large balcony watching them at different times with the changing tide levels. When we came, it was low tide and the harbour was mostly devoid of water. When we woke up the next morning, we were treated to a harbour full of gorgeous blue water as the tide was in! We loved the changing scenes based on the tides. Simon was also a wealth of information about the town, restaurants to eat at, where to purchase our needed supplies, etc. One of his recommendations for dinner was La Tabella Trattoria. We had the Veal Scallopini. It was delicious! In fact, we loved it so much that we went back the following night and had the same meal!! The apartment is located right on the harbour so boats and the ferry were located right in front of our balcony. It was convenient for our day-long cruise the next morning to the Great Barrier Reef -- a 30 second walk to get to the ship terminal, and also a 30 second walk to the Grayhound Bus terminal which was handy the following morning for our bus excursion up the coast to Cairns. We are so happy that we found this accommodation. It was exceptional!

Wir waren für zwei Nächte zu Gast. Die Anlage und das Personal sind super. Im Bad ist das Waschbecken leider sehr klein,  beim Duschen habe ich mich erschrocken, da wohl Luft in der Leitung war und es sehr laut wurde und alles vibrierte. Das Licht im Zimmer könnte heller sein. Sonst ist es wirklich ein schönes kleines Häuschen, es gibt einen großen Wandschrank mit Schiebetüren, Veranda, überdachter Parkplatz usw., die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Lediglich ein großer Spiegel wäre schön. Ausserdem steht das Bett auf Rollen und lässt sich nicht feststellen, wodurch es immer wegrollt, wenn sich jemand hinsetzt/-legt. Klimaanlage gibt es leider nur im Wohnbereich. Es gibt Wasch- und Grillmöglichkeiten. Auch kann man einen großen Pool nutzen (max 1,50 m tief). Zuletzt nochmal großes Lob an das super hilfsbereite Personal an der Rezeption!!! Die Damen waren toll.

I stayed at Vista apartments for one week and it was very relaxing, pleasant stay. The staff, the ladies, Bebe and Robyn were very welcoming and very helpful with advice on where to get the best coffee or meal, places to visit, and very helpful with suggesting and arranging the tours. And available for a chat, which is great for solo travellers. Thank you, ladies! I stayed in one bedroom apartment that was very clean, bed linen changed midweek. Well equipped kitchenette so I could make meals when I felt like. Stunning views from balcony. Nothing beats the morning coffee on the balcony with the views of the harbor, the sea and islands on horizon. Bus stop next to the hotel if you don't feel like walking, however, it was only short walk to Port Airlie and about 10 -15 minutes to the main street, lagune and boardwalk. By the way, bus fare is 50 cents! There is free underground car park as well. So.if you want great accommodation at the very sensible price, go to the Vista! Oh, almost forgot. There is Thai restaurant at the hotel, that offers delicious dinners and I would highly recommend Zorro cafe at Port area, look up the photos to see why.

I stayed at the Boathouse Apartments with my husband and 15 month old son after my son was quite sick on Hamilton island and unable to fly home. As there was no accommodation on Hamilton island I called up a few different places and settled on the Boathouse Apartments. I called ahead of time to see if we could check in early so my son could nap after the journey across. The reception staff were quite friendly and did try to get us in quickly however when we got to the room there was a rollaway bed instead of a cot. We left the room and came back to a cot being dumped in the apartment and not set up at all (not a big issue but also not what I’d expect paying the price for premium accommodation). The following morning I received a text that they had to do maintenance in our apartment for roughly 2 hours (I was never advised of this even though I called twice, told them I had a sick child and booked over the phone). We had staff knock on the door twice throughout the day to see when they could do it. First when we had a screaming child we were trying to give antibiotics too and secondly when we were trying to get him down for a nap (again when he was very distressed). We ended up having to leave and sit in a room after an unsuccessful nap with a toddler who had a high fever, ear infection and a rash. I’d also been trying to book a Telehealth appointment to have my son assessed but this was made difficult due to the fact we had to leave the room. One of the reasons I booked was due to the washer/dryer, we had no clothes left so I did a wash upon arrival. I ran the dryer multiple times that evening and kept finding sopping wet clothes at the end of every cycle which was really frustrating. On the following day we asked about the dryer and were advised that they don’t work very well and that the only apartments that had dryers were occupied. Because of this we were forced to wear the same clothes for 3 days straight. Not great for a messy/sick toddler.. We eventually were able to get our clothes dried and received them around 5pm the night before checking out. While I do appreciate the staff for doing so, it wasn’t very helpful at that point. The whole experience was really awful. Travelling with a sick child is hard enough let alone having that added stress. I am pretty annoyed that no one advised us of the works needing to occur during our stay and the fact that a dryer is falsely advertised. I never would have booked if I had known either of these things ahead of time and I feel fairly ripped off for the money we paid given it wasn’t exactly for a holiday..

Gute Lage, in der Nähe des Piers, Kostenlose Parkplätze, Frühstück inklusive, Herd und Mikrowelle zum Kochen. Es gibt Familienzimmer, Schwimmbäder, Es ist praktisch, eine Waschmaschine für 4 AUD und einen Trockner für 3 AUD zu haben. Wir fuhren für eine Nacht nach Hamilton Island, parkten das Auto am Hotel und kehrten für eine weitere Nacht zurück. Insgesamt gut, Airlie Beach ist wunderschön. Das Personal war sehr gut, sie warteten auch im Voraus, um sich zu verständigen, und stellten die Einrichtungen vor. Das heißt, es gibt viele Mücken, also nimm guten Schutz.

Sehr gutes Hotel ist zu empfehlen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Preise des Hotels stark variieren. Sie können immer auf Ctrip achten, um unnötige Verluste zu vermeiden. Außerdem ist das Ghost Management Hotel legerer. Wenn Sie die ganze Nacht früh ausgehen, wird die Rezeption niemanden sehen. In der zweiten Nacht kehren wir zum Hotel zurück und stellen fest, dass sich die Tür nicht öffnen lässt. Dann gehen wir zur Rezeption und finden einen Brief auf dem Schreibtisch. Zwei Türkarten und alle persönlichen Daten, jeder, der die beiden Karten genommen hat, kann die Tür öffnen.
