Finde Hotels in Daydream Island

My family and I (two under 6) went to the island for only 4 days and this was after doing our research and knowing that we were going to be eating only on island but to be honest this suited us perfectly. We found the staff really went above and beyond for our stay. My wife is recovering from a major illness and we made this known and recieved great assistance to recommendations to what activities we could do and what would suit us. The activities were a huge hit with our kids and the staff took all our questions with a smile. A great example of the staff was my wife misplacing her sunglasses and they were found and brought to us later with nothing more than a smile from ear to ear that they had been found. Our kids loved dining with the kangaroos and the birds are just animals doing their own thing, the living reef was a bonus and it lent itself to a great experience that was very much what we hoped.

Waren hier für 3 Nächte, auf einem ”powered Site” mit unserem Motorhome. Der Campingplatz ist schön angelegt, mit einem kleinen Bach, viel Pflanzen und nur kurze Wege da er ziemlich überschaubar ist. Es gibt einen Pool (den haben wir jedoch nicht benutzt) und für Kinder einen Spielplatz. Die Toilettenanlagen sind sauber, allerdings könnte aus der Dusche etwas mehr Druck kommen. Es gibt auch eine ”Laundry”. Für 4 Dollar kann man Waschen, für 1-2 Dollar trocknen und es gibt ein Waschbecken für Handwäsche und draußen Wäscheleinen. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Hier kann man auch direkt Touren auf die Whitsundays buchen. Direkt am Campingplatz ist eine Bushaltestelle. Man ist in ca. 10 Min in Airlie Beach. Achtung: der letzte Bus zurück, fährt gegen 18 Uhr. In die andere Richtung - Shute Harbour - sind es auch nur wenige Minuten, allerdings gibt es dort nicht viel zu sehen, ist sozusagen eine Sackgasse, denn dort geht es nicht weiter. Man muss wissen, dass direkt nebenan ein kleiner Flugplatz ist. Hier starten die Maschinen ab ca. 7 Uhr bis ca. 18 Uhr. Der Lärm ist aber zum Aushalten. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

After staying at Kipara in 2013, 2014 and 2015 a return in 2023 revealed that it is still an awesome place to stay at while spenind time in Airlie Beach. They have recently rearranged and refurbished the cabins and have still been working on the reception area to improve the feeling of being welcome even more. After the hosts Shirley and Bruce finally left it has now been to Laurence from Canada to turn this stay into an unforgettable experience, friendliness and helpfulness have been outstanding and I can only recommend this place should you ever plan a trip to Airlie !

Wir haben diesen Ort absolut geliebt. Monica auf dem Tisch zu bleiben war so hilfreich und ist ehrlich gesagt ein tolles Vermögen zum Urlaubspark! Wir haben in der tropischen Villa geblieben, die so geräumig ist und in jedem Zimmer mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet ist. In 10 Minuten, als ich ankam, wurde die nächste Unterkunft in Airlie Beach abgebrochen und eine Nacht im Rezeptionstisch in der Villa reserviert. Der Pool war großartig und die Vogelfutterung war sehr cool. Dieser Park wäre für die Familie unglaublich, aber auch wir, als eine Gruppe von Freunden es liebte! Der einzige Nebenteil war der Spaziergang zum Zentrum von Airlie, es ist ein guter 20-minütiger Spaziergang im Wärme, wir haben uns selbst zu taxin, um uns zu retten. Insgesamt ist es ein schöner Urlaubspark , Ich empfehle jedem, der nach Airlie 😊 kommt

In unserem 2-Nacht-Stadt gab es keine Probleme. Obwohl das Apartment etwas gekommen war, war die Wohnung sauber, die A/C war ruhig und die Geräte funktionierten alle. Der Balkon hatte gute Aussichten, und als die Tür geschlossen wurde, wurde der Verkehrslärm unten mutiert. Während es eine 1 km Fuß zur Stadt ist, gibt es Busshalte in der Nähe. Keine Frühstücksoptionen in der Nähe jedoch - Sie müssen sich dafür in die Stadt zu bekommen. Der Pool war gut. Sie werden gerne hier wieder bleiben.

I stayed at the Boathouse Apartments with my husband and 15 month old son after my son was quite sick on Hamilton island and unable to fly home. As there was no accommodation on Hamilton island I called up a few different places and settled on the Boathouse Apartments. I called ahead of time to see if we could check in early so my son could nap after the journey across. The reception staff were quite friendly and did try to get us in quickly however when we got to the room there was a rollaway bed instead of a cot. We left the room and came back to a cot being dumped in the apartment and not set up at all (not a big issue but also not what I’d expect paying the price for premium accommodation). The following morning I received a text that they had to do maintenance in our apartment for roughly 2 hours (I was never advised of this even though I called twice, told them I had a sick child and booked over the phone). We had staff knock on the door twice throughout the day to see when they could do it. First when we had a screaming child we were trying to give antibiotics too and secondly when we were trying to get him down for a nap (again when he was very distressed). We ended up having to leave and sit in a room after an unsuccessful nap with a toddler who had a high fever, ear infection and a rash. I’d also been trying to book a Telehealth appointment to have my son assessed but this was made difficult due to the fact we had to leave the room. One of the reasons I booked was due to the washer/dryer, we had no clothes left so I did a wash upon arrival. I ran the dryer multiple times that evening and kept finding sopping wet clothes at the end of every cycle which was really frustrating. On the following day we asked about the dryer and were advised that they don’t work very well and that the only apartments that had dryers were occupied. Because of this we were forced to wear the same clothes for 3 days straight. Not great for a messy/sick toddler.. We eventually were able to get our clothes dried and received them around 5pm the night before checking out. While I do appreciate the staff for doing so, it wasn’t very helpful at that point. The whole experience was really awful. Travelling with a sick child is hard enough let alone having that added stress. I am pretty annoyed that no one advised us of the works needing to occur during our stay and the fact that a dryer is falsely advertised. I never would have booked if I had known either of these things ahead of time and I feel fairly ripped off for the money we paid given it wasn’t exactly for a holiday..

Sehr gutes Hotel ist zu empfehlen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Preise des Hotels stark variieren. Sie können immer auf Ctrip achten, um unnötige Verluste zu vermeiden. Außerdem ist das Ghost Management Hotel legerer. Wenn Sie die ganze Nacht früh ausgehen, wird die Rezeption niemanden sehen. In der zweiten Nacht kehren wir zum Hotel zurück und stellen fest, dass sich die Tür nicht öffnen lässt. Dann gehen wir zur Rezeption und finden einen Brief auf dem Schreibtisch. Zwei Türkarten und alle persönlichen Daten, jeder, der die beiden Karten genommen hat, kann die Tür öffnen.

Nicht weit von der Hauptstraße entfernt, das Hotel ist Busstop, Verkehr und Essen sind noch bequem. Nach dem Abendessen ist der Wind langsam und geht zurück und ist bequem. Die Hygienebedingungen sind immer noch so, wie die übliche Wohnung sieht. Die Einrichtungen sind etwas alt und beeinflussen die Verwendung nicht, es gibt einen kleinen Balkon, die Sichtfelder sind offen, es gibt einen Kleiderschrank, Mikrowellen-Kühlschrank, Schneidschneider, kann gebündelt werden.

Positive points: - childfree - in walking distance of the main street (which includes a grocery store, pharmacy, clothes and accessory shops a number of restaurants and cafes and a maccas and pizza shops) - in walking distance to the beach. - Courtesy buses for tours and restaurants will pick you up from this hotel. - Our room had a spa bath. - Beds are comfy. - Ocean view. Negative points: - The plates, cups and cutlery in the kitchen weren't clean. - As a female, not a great deal of security. Some of the fly screens look like they had been slashed because they had been badly ripped apart and the entry door has the old key and lock system. So, if I was travelling alone, I wouldn't have felt safe with very minimal security on the room. - The bathroom floor is quite cheap and rough on the feet.
