We booked the “Walk, wine and stay” package in a medium size room. We arrived early and was quickly checked into our room as it was ready by the friendly lady on reception. We stayed in the servants quarters 27 which was spacious and comfortable. The building is 200 years old and obviously restored to keep its charm. The kitchenette had everything we needed to have basic meals with a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Our tour around the estate was with Bruno, who has worked at the estate for a long time. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting stories as we wandered the historic buildings and checked out some convict artifacts. Our walk ended with a wine tasting and cheeseboard. The tasting was not rushed and the cheeseboard was very generous and delicious!!! After the tasting we selected our bottle of wine to take back to our room to enjoy at our leisure. Of course we also purchased plenty to take home. Sadly the on site restaurant is not operating through the week (post Covid) so we had to venture out for dinner. Lots of options within a short drive. We decided upon Chinese but it is take away only (post Covid) so we grabbed some drinks and dessert before heading back to our accommodation. The estate is 200 years old and full of history…. it is so much more than a winery. The old buildings give the accommodation lots of charm and character, although (clearly from other reviews) some people may just consider it old and rundown…. the history and original buildings are magnificent, internally the rooms are completely refurbished with comfortable amenities. Our room had 2 two seater lounges, dining table and 4 chairs, tv, basic kitchenette, outdoor table/chairs, queen bed with bathroom that had a good sized shower with plenty of hot water. The highlight of our stay was the tour, it made our stay!! Learning about the convict settlement and history definitely added to the atmosphere and charm of Coolangatta Estate. All in all a really lovely stay and we would definitely stay again.

Nice place easy check in, rooms very clean Ni e comfortable bed, modern TV and coffee, tea and microwave , staff friendly. Nice places to eat next door best fish and chips ever, great little pub up the road with good food and a short drive to most places of interest

This Resort is great, attached as it is to Worrigee Links Golf Coursenand Sports Club. Room spacious and clean, bed comfy, amenities very good. Only thing I found interesting, they have a large sliding door which opens onto the Golf Course, but no sliding wire door to keep creepy crawlies out, so door stays shut! Easy walk to the Sports Club for a drink and a top meal. Staff in both places very good, but clearing away of empty plates after meal very poor. Breakfast in the room at Springs was excellent, arrived hot and eggs done perfectly. Would go back here again.

Rein, frisch mit sehr schönem Zimmer und hilfsbereitem Personal. Gutes Bett und Badezimmer, obwohl die Tür zum Badezimmer ein wenig von einer Schande war (Design-Frage). Liebes kontinentales Frühstück mit Barrister-Kaffee (zusätzliches Kosten-Nutzen-Verhältnis). Einfache Parkplätze und Zugang. Wir werden wieder dorthin gehen und es unseren Freunden empfehlen.

We spent 1 night here as a stopover whilst driving the coastal route down to Melbourne. As we pulled up in our car, we were greeted by the owner and shown where to park in the designated spot. Out room was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable with a beach vibe. Shops within walking distance and a lovely restaurant servicing delicious food lunch and evening. A very special extra was a bottle of fizz, chocolates and a candle to celebrate our honeymoon. Thankyou very much for your kind hospitality.

Die Einfahrtszeit war bis 18:00 Uhr. Um 17:20 Uhr haben sie uns angerufen, um zu fragen, wann wir ankamen und wir antworteten ihm, dass wir in einer halben Stunde waren. Wir kamen um 17:45 Uhr und es gab niemand mehr. Wir mussten die Schlüssel nach den Anweisungen nehmen, die unser Sohn, der mit uns reiste, verwaltete. Im Zimmer, obwohl es für drei war, hatten uns nur zwei Handtücher, ein Seifen und ein Gel . Auf dem Schlafzimmerboden war ein klebriges Pulver, das dein Hosen gehäutet hatte...

Gute Lage mit einfacher Zugang und Parkplatz. Freundlich, hilfreich ein-/auschecken. In 10 Minuten zu Fuß finden Sie die Taverne des Postman (gute pub-Grub), Club, viele Cafés/Restaurants & Stocklands Einkaufsplatz. Das Hotel/Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel. Wäre definitiv & empfehlenswert.
