We went to macq01 as a little getaway before our second baby arrives. I hadn’t told the staff that however they noticed I was pregnant and delivered a gift box full of bath salts etc & some chocolates to our room. The rooms there are always beautiful and we love staying at macq01! We’ve stayed multiple times. Highly recommend.

Eines der großartigsten Hotels! Unglaubliches Design in einer alten Marmeladenfabrik direkt am Hafen von Hobart. Tolle Kunst überall, tolles Personal an der Rezeption. Besser geht es nicht! Das angeschlossene Restaurant Landscape ist ebenso großartig! Das Essen sehr gut!

Ein Hotel, in dem Muming lebte, das Zimmer war groß, es gab einen Kühlschrank darin, es gab viel Essen darin, alles wurde für den Verzehr bezahlt, und es war für mich schwierig, eine Flasche Milch zu kaufen. Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Piers. Der Flughafenbus hat eine Haltestelle vor der Tür. Erkundigen Sie sich an der Rezeption nach der Abfahrtszeit. Es ist sehr praktisch, zum Flughafen zu eilen.

When you arrive at the Grand Chancellor you will find a tiny front drive that can fit about 4 cars, where you are supposed to be able to park, check in, and then move your car to their underground parking. However, this front drive is not monitored so when we arrived the driveway was completely full with no one there to direct us anywhere. We drove around the block to enter the underground parking and unloaded our bags which we had to carry up the stairs from the parking garage as there was no guest lift that we could easily find (good luck if you have trouble with stairs). At the bottom of the stairs there is a button that you can supposedly use to call someone to assist with your bags. We tried to use this and though we could hear the bell upstairs, it was not answered (even just to let us know that someone would come), so we gave up and carried our bags up the stairs. Upon arrival to the room, we noticed it was clearly very dated. We could see some effort had been made to update the rooms visually but the installations felt very half-****d. For instance instead of a shower curtain for the bath tub there was a half glass pane that is delightfully too short and instead bounces water off its side and onto the floor. A rainfall showerhead had also been installed but it seemed like an afterthought as it was crooked and had poor water pressure. We then tried to use the pool. Upon entry, I felt like I was taken back in time to the days of dark and damp fitness centers and unmaintained pool floors & furniture. There were no staff nearby and the entire area was a mess. Walking into the locker rooms was a shock with horrible banged up smelly lockers (many of which were open but had no key to lock it!) and awful grey blue shiny tiles that bounce the cold flickering white light around. The shared sauna between male and female locker rooms was also a joke. We left without even bothering to get changed or use the pool. We then attempted to dine at the restaurant in the hotel lobby. The host at the front asked if we had a reservation which we did not. He then looked around at the many empty tables as if he was not sure what to do and then asked us to ”wait outside” as he checked availability. We have never been asked to exit any restaurant whilst they searched for a table (even in much busier restaurants) and we were very frustrated by this request. We waited outside over 5 minutes and then decided to leave and ask the front desk staff for other local restaurant recommendations. As we were on our way out, we noticed the restaurant host was hovering nearby as if he had found us a table and was waiting for us to be done but we left without another look. Upon arriving back in our room after dinner and turning off the lights to sleep, we were graced with the hallway light streaming through the large cracks in the poorly fitted door. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Es gibt Parkplätze an der Tür. Es ist bequem und schnell. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber. Die Toiletten sind komplett. Die Tür geht zum Salamanca-Markt und am Hafen um ein paar Minuten. Es ist nicht gut, andere sind sehr zufrieden mit dem Ton, außer wenn der Wind groß ist.

We were due to stay at another hotel but were moved here, which was no hardship. Spacious comfy one bed apartment, starting our first few nights in Tassie off to a great start. Well equipped kitchen (but for shorties like me, the microwave was too high!) comfy lounge and bed - much appreciated after all the travelling to get there. Close to the harbour, eateries, 10-12 mins walk to the shopping centre - it’s in a great location. Apart from that wicked little hill as you walk back up to the apartment block from a long day out, couldn’t fault it!

Das Hotel liegt eine kleine Straße vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Der nächste Supermarkt ist 8 Autominuten entfernt. Das Hotel ist sehr schön, aber die Klimaanlage ist altmodisch. Während des gesamten Prozesses taucht niemand auf. Der Ordner, der Ihren Namen sieht, freut sich sehr. Der Ort, an dem das Frühstück verwendet wird, ist Selbstbedienung. Jeder Tisch trägt den Namen des Zimmers und der Name des Zimmers ist nach dem Besitzer des vorherigen Hotels benannt.
