A vacation ownership property in an Edwardian style townhouse. Our suite was well sized with a bedroom, living room, and a small kitchenette and bathroom. Given the differences in sleeping patterns in our family having the two rooms (bed and living) was very nice though having the extra space does add to the price. The kitchenette is also nice as we could easy make breakfast for ourselves each day; it is also set up with a microwave, stove top, refrigerator, and many typical kitchen necessities (glassware, silverware, plate ware, pots & pans). The property is located in the expensive area of Mayfair, not far from Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Walking around, besides seeing all the charming houses, you'll get used to seeing many many very expensive cars not seen in most neighborhoods. It is NOT an easy walking distance to some typical tourist attractions such as Tour of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, Covent Garden. Kensington Palace, etc. If those are what your vacation is about you'd be better served to stay in a location closer or become an expert on public transportation. You can walk to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey but be prepared for a good long walk. The staff at the Grand Residence are exceptional! They don't have an onsite restaurant (though there are plenty of restaurants in the area) but they do provide room service at a good price with delicious tasting food.

Wow, absolute 5 star experience. We had an amazing day/evening. The concierge team who greeted us were exceptional, really friendly and couldn’t do enough to mark sure we were settled in. Our room was beautiful and spacious with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, bathroom was sparkling clean with a gorgeous shower and luxurious toiletries. The location is prime, we walked into Oxford street for shopping and had some lunch in Covent Garden and then headed back for the evening. We booked dinner in the hotel restaurant lucky cat which didn’t disappoint with its delicious Asian cuisine and amazingly knowledgeable and helpful staff. I am a celiac and can not have gluten and they couldn’t have been more helpful in making sure I was given the right information and even changed a couple of dishes slightly so I didn’t miss out! What an amazing team of staff, thank you for making our stay such a lovely experience at this beautiful hotel.

Unfortunately, we could only stay one night as we were heading on to Australia. This was our second visit and we selected a deluxe room … very impressive accommodation!! Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean … amazingly comfortable. The hotel team were all excellent and the concierge team’s service was second to none. It’s well worth having the room service breakfast … well worth the money.

This Marriott is operated as a fractional ownership scheme. During your stay you'll be renting a serviced flat from the relevant fractional share owner, but Marriott handles all the details, from reservations to check-out and everything in between. The early 20th Century building (purportedly a private residence in prior incarnations) has been beautifully renovated and is very quiet and has a residential feeling, in spite of its very central and convenient location. No gym or restaurant but fast room service with a decent enough menu and quite reasonable tariffs. Room cleaning is of the very highest order and the cleaners are especially nice, dependable, and hard working. Regarding the room service it is best described as madly eccentric. It became a standing joke between my wife and me as to which of us would receive what they actually ordered. For just one example should you order scrambled eggs and bacon, you should be fully prepared to receive eggs over easy and sausage. But overall we had a delightful stay, and we plan to return next year.

Our stay at the Grand Residence was amazing! Everyone treated us like royalty and were so very attentive! The concierge, front desk staff and housekeeping were first class, they knew our names, answered any requests immediately and made our stay amazing! Our suite was huge, spotless and beautiful! Our kitchen had high end appliances and everything was brand new! The location in Mayfair was the best in all of London-so beautiful and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, sightseeing spots. This hotel made our vacation so memorable! We can't imagine traveling to London again and not staying here-we will be back! Thank you to all the staff for making this vacation our very best ever!
