Außergewöhnlich ruhige Zimmer, gerade in der Nacht. Ausstattung der Zimmer auch neu und völlig in Ordnung. Einzig der Service ist zu kritisieren. Getränke im Sitzbereich vor dem Hotel bzw den Kellner muss man permanent suchen, Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt und schon gar nicht gesäubert. Das Personal beim Frühstück verstand kein English aber mit Händen und Füßen bekam man ja dann doch sein Frühstück. Ansonsten eine saubere, gepflegt Anlage.

Beautiful place, amazing setting, and views. Pool was in shade in late afternoon when I arrived, and my son was told off for jumping into pool and a little water splashed onto a guest, whom was laying on bed right next to the pool. So I told him he wasn’t allowed to jump into the pool, which then he got upset and he didn’t want to stay at the pool anymore. I understand if you want to relax by the pool, but if you’re on a subbed right next to the pool you should expect to get splashed. The room was amazing, with amazing views. Restaurant food amazing, however it did take ages for service and the food to arrive. Think service needs to be more attentive. Breakfast not a great choice, croissants left no eggs, so I was stuck with coffee and bread, with jam. I would recommend if you don’t have kids. Reception staff were amazing.

The hotel Tiferno is in an enviable position in the centre of Citta di Castello and is an old palazzo that has been converted into a luxury hotel. The bedroom was comfortable with a powerful shower in the wet room. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent particularly the pasta course.
