The hotel is about 15 minutes to Puebla's catedral. About 10 to Cholula. About 20 to the airport. I choose the hotel due to the great reviews and the location. The front desk staff were very helpful. The bellman brought my luggage to the room right away. The room was clean, the beads comfortable, like any 5 star hotel room. The breakfast was the best continental I have ever had. I have stayed at many hotels, Hyatt, Hilton, etc,. This one has the best breakfast. The hotel front desk/lobby is located on the 2nd floor. The entrance is on the rear part of the mall. If you forgot something you can buy it downstairs inside the mall.

Sehr guter Eindruck von diesem Hotel, kostengünstiger, besser und günstiger als der Flughafen Mexico City. Nun, der Flughafen ist für Anschlussflüge. Es gibt einen Bus vom Flughafen Mexiko-Stadt nach Puebla. Es dauert zehn Minuten, um aus dem Bus auszusteigen und ein Taxi zum Hotel zu nehmen. Der Verkehr ist sehr bequem. Das Frühstück ist lokal, aber Rührei und Brokkoli sind sehr gut für den chinesischen Magen geeignet. Hahaha Die Früchte sind sehr frisch. Das von uns gebuchte Zimmer beinhaltet kein Frühstück. Wir haben die Karte morgens bezahlt. Die Kellner sind sehr gut, aber nicht viel Englisch, aber die grundlegende Kommunikation ist immer noch kein Problem?

Ich habe hier mehrmals geblieben, da ich mehr und mehr zu Puebla gekommen bin. Ich war dort 2 Nächte in dieser Woche und das Personal war großartig. Ich bin ein Hilton Diamond-Mitglied und sie hatten gute Diamond-Erkennung. Sie haben mich auf eine Ecke Junior Suite (Zimmer 734) aufgebaut, die groß war, da Sie einen großen Blick auf beide Richtungen hatten. Es war geräumig, komfortabel und hatte ein Desktop zu arbeiten. Das Bett war ok und das es funktionierte AC. Obwohl es am Nachmittag wirklich zu drängen, um das Zimmer bei der Temperatur zu halten, die ich wollte. In der Nacht funktionierte es immer gut. Es scheint nur zu kämpfen, wenn es die heißesten und sonnigsten ist während des Tages. Das könnte gelöst werden, wenn man die Fenster öffnen kann, aber man kann es nicht. Das einzige, was nicht funktioniert war, ist das Kühlschrank. Sie sollten sie wirklich wieder arbeiten. Ich bin nicht sicher, wenn sie nicht wegen COVID, aber das Kühlschrank hat überhaupt nicht funktioniert. Sie hatten einen elektronischen Arbeitsschrank, der bequem war. Dusche Druck funktionierte gut und viel heißes Wasser. Die Internetgeschwindigkeit war nicht so schnell, aber es funktionierte. Es scheint, sie verbessern immer die Lobby. Sie haben ein Geschäftszentrum und jetzt haben sie ein Starbucks-Fenster, wenn Sie ins Haus kommen, das schön ist, wenn Sie diese Getränke mögen. Für meinen Diamanten Vorteile sie erlaubt Punkte oder ein kontinentales Frühstück. Ich wähle das Frühstück, das Eier war, wie Sie wollen, Toast, Zugang zur Obstbar und die verschiedenen Saften und Kaffee oder Tee. Sie können 150 pesos mehr bezahlen und auf das volles Frühstücksbuffet upgrade. Es gibt viele kostenlose Parkplätze in ihrem sicheren Parkplatz. Ich habe einen späten 4-PM-Check-out angefordert, da mein Flug spät geblieben war, aber sie sagten, dass die letzte, die ich aufhalten konnte, 2-PM war, da sie das Zimmer benötigten. Das Front Desk Personal war freundlich. Als ich nicht in ihrem Geschäftszentrum etwas gedruckt konnte, baten sie mich, es ihnen zu schreiben und sie druckten es für mich. Am Abend, als ich ins Flugzeug fliege, war ich sehr müde und wollte nicht rausgehen und sie haben Zimmerservice vom Restaurant unten. Das Essen ist völlig anständig. Sie haben es schnell aufgeladen und Sie können in Ihr Zimmer zahlen.

Das Problem war, dass ich im Morgengrauen abgereist bin und auschecken wollte und es war niemand an der Rezeption, der Sicherheit oder dem Parkplatz?

I am a big fan of InterContinental hotels and have stayed at least once at all of the other ones in Mexico and almost all of them in Central America as well. I was in Puebla for a weekend visit and wanted to try this one out as well. I am sad to say that this hotel seems to be completely overlooked by InterContinental's quality control people because it is a dump--at least the rooms, that is. The rooms have old, worn, and stained carpeting, and the bathroom was a nightmare. Gross, cracked sink with faucets from who knows when, bathtub with a curtain and similarly old, yucky-looking faucets. The bathroom door was all banged up, marked up and basically ruined. Paint chipped all over the place in the room. Ancient air conditioner (although it worked, thankfully!) No place to store towels so they just set them all on the sink. The only good thing about the room was that the bed was the typical InterContinental bed which was very comfortable, clean, and lovely. The hotel employees are very nice and courteous and the public areas of the hotel (except for the old elevators and long, yucky-looking hallways that need repainting) are decent. The hotel's social media focuses basically just on places that actually look decent and some of the rooms that maybe were renovated? But you will likely end up in a room straight out of the 1980's (or longer ago) and not in a good way. This hotel urgently needs remodeling or to be changed from an InterContinental to a Holiday Inn or something. Even though the prices are good--there's a reason why. Don't stay here expecting a ”normal” InterContinental hotel experience. Sorry, to say it but hopefully the hotel will get the care it needs.

Wir waren seit Tepic bis 2:30 Uhr fahren und konnten nichts Hotel auf unserer Straße finden, bis wir zum Holiday Inn in Puebla. Erschöpft, wir waren dankbar, dass wir ankommen und unsere beladene Auto voraus parken konnten. (Es wäre nicht im Parkhaus mit dem Dachschrank geladen.) Das Front Desk Personal war so bequem und professionell. Check out war 1:00 Uhr , so hatten wir viel Zeit, um sich zu entspannen, bevor wir weiterreisen. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, mit einer schönen, großen, heißen Dusche. Wir sind Mitglieder des IGG und erhielten hervorragende Service.
