From the moment of arrival to the moment of check out, the service from the hotel manager and the other staff was exceptional. There are staff on call 24/7 so there is always someone to cater to you needs, but also it provides a homely and secure environment. The rooms were exceptionally furnished and were adequately sized, but the main highlight is the view. We were lucky to stay in the Lake View rooms with a truly stunning vista overlooking Anayirangal lake, which we were able to view from the veranda and our rooms. When staying at Lake Zone, there is no need to search for places to eat elsewhere. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort where there is a wide variety of dishes on offer; it was lovely to have our meals on the veranda overlooking the mountains. The resort has direct contacts to trusted tour guides who will take you on a Jeep ride to see the sunrise at Kollukamalai. Seeing the spectacular views with the mist shrouding the mountains is truly unforgettable. All in all, a truly magical holiday, and much of that is down to the outstanding service provided at the Lake Zone resort.
