Escape to the coziest, lakeside cottage. Recently renovated to perfection, this quaint and well-kept 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is located on a private road and down the road from a private beach paradise. This property is perfect for couples, families and friends alike as it is a cozy space, yet large enough for privacy. Enjoy cooking in a well equipt kitchen, read a book on the covered porch, walk down the lane to dip your feet in the lake, or enjoy a nice barbecue with a cocktail- your options here are endless. In case you aren't a well suited guest for completely unconnecting, we have the fastest wifi you will ever experience and a cable TV in each room. The house has its own driveway for ample overnight parking and an in-unit washer/dryer for convenience. Complete with air conditioning and heat, your stay here is guaranteed to be enjoyable and comfortable. Our superb location is a stones throw from Union Pier, New Buffalo and Harbert, but nestled in our own friendly, lakeside community. We provide many amenities to make sure your stay is as effortless as possible, after all, life is great at the lake!
We are Family Friendly: We proudly partner with BabyQuip for Baby Gear Rental. Additional information available upon request from owner. Including but not limited to: strollers, wagons, car seats, full size cribs, Snoo's, pack n' plays, highchairs or boosters, toys, baby gates, extra beach gear and much more. We also provide a curated list of recommended activities in our area if the beach isn't calling your name.

Cottage was very sweet. Charming vintage decore. Very clean and well stocked. Beach was amazing! Short walk, beautiful sunsets, not crowded. Wewill book again!

Very cozy shabby chic cottage in a twist location. Easy walk to a gorgeous beach (there are stairs) with crystal clean water. The cottage has everything you may need or want and the owner Hailey is a gem!

Quick communication with owner, beautiful private beach within walking distance (does involve quite a few stairs, but it was manageable even with infants and our grandmother)— the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe.

The house was nicely appointed and very clean. The owner was very responsive to any issue we may have had. The location was great, a short walk to a private beach. Our only issue was the large ant infestation. While we were told there might be a few ants given that the neighborhood is very woodsy, which we would understand, there were not just a few but many. They were on most of the counter tops in the kitchen, in one of the bathrooms and in two of the bedrooms. We even found one in the salt shaker. Needless to say, it was disconcerting. It made a very nice place difficult to enjoy.We know the owner is addressing the issue and wish her well in trying to eradicate them.

Perfect spot
Charming, comfortable cottage that was very clean and well appointed. We’ve rented many places in the area and we will definitely be coming back to this place when it’s available. One of the best beaches in the area and it’s not crowded like the public access beaches down the road in U.P.

Cute cottage
The location of the cottage is fantastic. It’s a cute little cottage only about a block from the beach entrance, and having a private entrance is an added bonus! There were a couple of minor things, nothing big. Hailey was quick to respond to our concerns and rectified the problems.

The Cottage
My family and I stayed at The Cottage and had a wonderful time. The cottage was clean and just a short walk to the beach. It is also a close drive to New Buffalo. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.
