Die Lage des Hotels ist relativ leicht zu finden. Es ist weniger als hundert Meter vom Straßenrand entfernt. Es gibt auch einen offenen Platz zum Parken. Der chinesische Name des Schildes an der Kreuzung ist Thai Palace Hotel. Das Zimmer ist ok, ich habe das große Bett im Haupthaus bestellt, und die Einfamilienkabine. Die Zimmer sind mit Hausschuhen und Pflegeprodukten ausgestattet. Wenn Sie Sauberkeit oder anspruchsvollere Freunde sind, wird empfohlen, Ihre eigene mitzubringen. . Die hygienischen Bedingungen sind in Ordnung. . Es ist normal, dass diese Art von Ort an Xiaoqiang vorbeikommt. Personen mit einem hohen Grad an Sauberkeit müssen möglicherweise auf Staub achten. Ich persönlich finde das Zimmer insgesamt gut. Badewasser ist auch ausreichend. Das Frühstück wird im Restaurant rechts der Kreuzung eingenommen! Das Restaurant kann auch zu normalen Zeiten Essen bestellen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist recht hoch

Ein langersehnter Traum wurde endlich wahr. Wo soll ich nur anfangen mit schreiben. Die Anantara Hotels & Resorts sind und bleiben eindeutig unsere Hotels an 1. Stelle im Raum Asien. Schade das diese noch nicht so sehr in Europa oder in der karibik vertreten sind, aber das ist ein anderes Thema. Nun zu unserem Aufenthalt. Das Hotel, die gesamte Einrichtung und das wichtigste das gesamte Team waren einfach nur wundervoll. Eine Oase der Ruhe und an Herzlichkeit nicht zu übertreffen. Es fing bereits schon lange vor unserer Reise mit der Kommunikation mit dem Hotel an. TUK hatte unseren Aufenthalt und die ganzen Aktivitäten gemeinsam mit mir Vorfeld abgestimmt und hat wirklich alles möglich gemacht was wir uns vorstellten. Es fing bereits bei dem Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel an, wo wir gerne auf den Weg dorthin noch eine Teeplantage besichtigen wollten und dies war überhaupt kein Problem. TUK organsierte uns eine Bootstour auf dem Mekong River und plante mit uns die restlichen Tage sowie das schönste an dem Aufenthalt die Elefantenbegegnungen. Unser Empfang wurde, wie in einem Anantara Hotel meist üblich, mit einer Trommelzeremonie begrüßt. Der Check In war äußerst unkompliziert und von höchster professioneller Qualität. Als GHA Discovery Platinum Mitglied wurde uns sogar kostenfrei ein Zimmerupgrade in eine Suite gewährt welches keine Wünsche offen ließ. Das Zimmer war sehr groß mit großen Balkon mit Blick in das Golden Triangle. Alle Annehmlichkeiten waren im Zimmer vorhanden und das Zimmer ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Vielen Dank auch hier noch einmal für das Upgrade. Das Restaurant und die Speisen zum Abend waren sehr lecker und wir aßen dort jeden Abend. Es gab Italienische und Thailändische Gerichte. Das Frühstück wurde auf Bestellung serviert, was mir persönlich sehr gefallen hat und es kein Buffet gab. Man muss dazu sagen, dass zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes sehr wenig Gäste im Hotel vorhanden waren, aber der Service und das ganze drum herum keines weges irgendwie heruntergefahren wurde oder an Personal fehlte. Einfach nur top. Der Pool sucht in Thailand mit dem Blick auf die Elefanten im Tal und in das Golden Triangle seines Gleichen. Einfach nur ein Wow Erlebnis. Die Bar servierte uns jeden Abend und auch tagsüber :-) hervorrangende Cocktails, ganz großes Lob dafür. TUK organisierte bzw. reservierte ebenfalls für uns bereits im Vorfeld Anwendungen im Spa zu Uhrzeiten welche mit uns abgestimmt waren. Wir hatten gemeinsam jeweils das Anantara Signature Treatment und waren rundum zufrieden und danach wie neu geboren. Beim zweiten Besuch hatte meine Freundin dieselbe Behandlung und ich entschied mich für eine Thai Massage. Auch hier wieder einfach alles von höchster Professioneller Qualität und das ganze drum herum unvergesslich und sehr entspannend. The pictures of Rai Saeng Arun and its surroundings are beautiful but they do not fully capture the special vibes experienced in this place. We were amazed by the abundance of frangipanis, bamboo trees, rice paddies, various crops and gardens, and the special view of the Mekong overlooking Laos . Extremely calm and quiet. Be ready to climb 200+ stairs every day if you're staying in one of the bungalows on the hill, but there are rooms on the river level - be sure to book the right room for your stay at the reservation stage. When showering, look up and witness trees and plants eclipsing your view of the sky. At night you will shower while looking up to the stars, and since it's a remote area, you will get a crisp view of the milky way. The food is predominantly Thai and delicious - fresh produce is grown around the area, so expect some of the freshest organic food from regions where top notch restaurants in Bangkok likely source from. While you can get much cheaper food in local areas of town, a meal for two here goes for around 600-700 Baht, quite inexpensive for the quality. The people are incredibly nice, as usual with Thai hospitality, but we were lucky to be invited by the manager's nephew on a mini road trip with his family to check out neighboring temples and the golden triangle. The couple didn't charge us a dime and even paid for our temple tickets and dinner. Not that all guests will be this lucky to be awarded this opportunity, but goes to show how genuine and kind the people here are. Advices: If staying on the hill (200+ stairs), pack light. While the hotel offers instant noodles, beverages and water in the rooms, feel free to bring evening snacks of your own as the hotel's restaurant closes at 5pm and the nearest supermarket/convenience store is definitely not walking distance. Reminder that this is a remote place. Most people come with their own cars or arrange drivers for the whole stay. Be sure to plan your day-trips and transportation ahead of the stay. Bring a good book, a good playlist, and unwind. 100% recommend.

Wir blieben nur für eine Nacht vor dem Überqueren nach Laos. Das Hotel überraschte mich völlig. Das Personal war so hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant war wirklich gut und die Ansichten waren erstaunlich, dass gerade auf dem Mekong nach Laos zu sehen ist. Wir blieben in einem Flussblick im Resort-Bezirk des Hotels - das Zimmer war sehr schön, sehr sauber und hatte alles, was wir brauchten, und der Blick vom Balkon war erstaunlich. Ich hoffe, dass ich nach Chiang Khong zurückkomme und für ein paar Tage im Teak Garden bleiben, um wirklich das Hotel und die Stadt zu genießen.

Das geräumige Zimmer ist bequem eingerichtet: ein Desktop mit einem Stuhl, ein Tisch mit zwei Stühlen (die selten ist). Schneeweißes Bett. Es gibt einen öffentlichen Platz für kostenlose Kaffee. Das Hotel ist zwei Minuten vom schönen Sitzplatz von Mekonga entfernt. Direkter Zugang von der Hauptstraße, es ist nicht notwendig zu suchen. Von den Nebenanlagen - Parkplatz nur für drei Autositze.

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. The room was in poor condition with broken doors poorly patched up doors into the bathroom, safe not working and a bed that was as hard as lying on concrete. The view was great from the balcony across the Mekong but that was the only good thing about this hotel room. There were a few other guests staying there at the same time as us but they left early because the noise from functions in their function room downstairs was extreme, and went on night after night until the early hours, Then the participants were allowed to go into other areas of the lower floor to continue the drunken behaviors without any intervention from staff. The other privately booked patrons all left early because nothing was done to control these people. We were the only ones left. Breakfast was determined by the choices made by the function groups, and is not the buffet breakfast the claim to provide and is not the breakfast we paid for as they describe. If you really feel the need to stay at this place you would be better going for a short walk along the river and having breakfast elsewhere because the breakfasts offered were poor and most of it was cold. The hotel also is reported to have a restaurant. True it does but they will only offered us a choice of 3 dishes that is the same as the function is offering to their participants. We had our order taken from these 3 dish menu only to then sit there for nearly an hour waiting for the food. The order was taken by the restaurant manager, but he chose to go to another table and sit with the hotel manager and drink beer and eat a huge bowl of chips. We are not sure if the order was even given to the kitchen staff, and when we asked what was going on there was no explanation, we were just asked to wait another 15 minutes. When we complained again it was magically there in about 5 minutes. We found other places to eat after that. The pool and the free use of hotel bicycles were pluses. The pool was well shaded from the sun, was clean and refreshing. There are bike tracks right outside the hotel along the river which are flat and easy to ride. Very few of the staff had any English, which is fine considering its Thailand, but even when you translated to Thai for them they were not helpful (particularly the management). They were solely focused on the groups in the functions and we felt very much like inconveniences in their way. I normally don't give reviews for a bad hotel but this place was exceptionally uncomfortable and poorly managed. In short we would never stay at this hotel again and suggest anyone that is considering this hotel look at one of the many other hotels that are nearby, and be assured any on the riverfront the same views of the river, with often better rates for their rooms and restaurants where they value your patronage.

Wenn Sie sich entspannen und aus der Stadt sein wollen, ist das der Ort, zu sein. Wir haben nur eine Nacht auf unserem Weg nach Laos Grenzreise nach Mekong geblieben. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön. Große, saubere, komfortable Betten und Luftkon. Der Bonus ist der Pool. Angesichts einer Morgenreise aus Chiang Rai war es wie ein Wandern ins Paradies. Das Resort bot Frühstück und Abendessen Menüs. Das müssen wir sagen war lecker. Die Eigentümer Frau war schön, sie verbrachte Zeit, uns über unsere voraussichtlichen Pläne zu sprechen. Wir hatten überlegt, unsere Tour in Phuket zu beenden, wohnte ihre Tochter dort und miete Unterkünfte. Sie rief sie an und bot Beratung auf der Lage. Während wir nichts buchten, war die Information sehr willkommen. Der Besitzer John, bot uns in die Stadt zu laufen, wenn wir gehen wollten. Wir taten es nicht, aber das Angebot war sehr bedenklich. Wir werden sicher wieder hier bleiben.
