Absolut fantastischer Ort! Sauber, modern, komfortabel und in jedem Zimmer ein großer Fernseher. Ich blieb über zwei Monate hier. Die Gastgeber sind eine nette thailändische Familie, die ihr Bestes gibt, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Gäste einen angenehmen Aufenthalt haben. Ich kann mich nicht beschweren, wir kommen später wieder. Fühlte mich wie ein zweites Zuhause.

Es gibt eine Reihe von Hotels, die Sie in der Umgebung von Chiang Mai auswählen können, aber ich bezweifle, dass Sie so etwas finden werden: eine Ansammlung von Teakholzhäusern auf einem recht großen Grundstück, ein familiengeführtes Hotel, das den Eindruck hat, als wäre es allmählich von der Moderne überschwemmt worden Chiang Mai während die Stadt expandiert. Die Besitzer sind nette Leute, und die Dame des Hauses tut ihr Möglichstes, um sicherzustellen, dass alles Ihren Wünschen entspricht (und fährt uns auch zum Bahnhof, um Bahntickets zu holen, wenn es einen tropischen Regenguss gab). Der Pool reicht zum Schwimmen, die Gärten sind wunderschön und das Frühstück hervorragend. JEDOCH – es liegt ein gutes Stück außerhalb der Altstadt. Wir haben uns Hotelfahrräder ausgeliehen, aber sie sind etwas alt und daher etwas beschwerlich. Wir haben auch Motorroller gemietet, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Aber es gibt keine lohnenswerten Bars/Restaurants in fußläufiger Entfernung, was das Leben besonders bei über 36 Grad Hitze erschwert. Wenn Sie die Wahl haben, würde ich Ihnen die Zimmer auf der linken Seite des Geländes vorschlagen. Die Zimmer auf der rechten Seite sind zwar älter und authentischer, liegen aber auch näher an der Umgehungsstraße und daher lauter. Aber im Großen und Ganzen habe ich den Aufenthalt hier wirklich genossen – es ist warm, es ist anders, es ist thailändisch.

Wundervoller, herzlicher Aufenthalt im Ruen. Familiengeführtes Hotel am Rande der Altstadt. Nette Gastgeber. Tolle Lage für einen Aufenthalt in Chiang Mai. In unmittelbarer Nähe zu einer belebten, belebten Gegend. Schönes, sauberes Zimmer, tolles Frühstück und ein Poolbereich. Würde wieder hier übernachten!

Like staying in the home of your long-lost Thai family. Architecturally notable property of vintage teakwood construction and carvings, interesting tile work and murals. Located in a mixed-use area with everything from the usual massage places and laundries to busy late-night entertainment spots. The house was originally the family home of your host, Mai, who will do everything to ensure you have a pleasant stay. I loved the pool and the breakfast choices. Don't miss Mai's macrobiotic breakfast, which includes her homemade miso, congee, fresh fruit, and sautéed vegetables from the organic farm. Of course, bacon, eggs and toast available too. A little off the tourist path, but dial a Grab, and you can be just about anywhere in Chiang Mai in under 10 minutes.

We chose this hotel because it was recommended by The Telegraph - however we were disappointed. The rooms although authentic weren’t very clean. It is not a central hotel and out on a limb and it is next door to an incredibly noisy nightclub. The owners were very polite and helpful and breakfast was interesting. It’s shabby chic but certainly more shabby than chic.

Ruen Come In was a nice local place to stay that I’d encourage anyone to stay at. The hotel itself is a great design with teak throughout and it’s very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The landscape has green spaces and it’s located just far enough from the old city to be out of the hustle but very easy to get downtown too. The owners were extremely helpful, personable, and just all around good people. They even took their personal time to host several of us guests at the lantern festival in their home town, which was authentic and amazing. The hotel is excellent and the staff and owners genuinely care about their guests.

I had a lovely holiday in Ruen. It's a family-run hotel, and the owner and her son are very friendly and welcoming. We loved the vegetation, the spacious rooms and the breakfast. They also have their organic farm, where they get the eggs for breakfast, which is pretty cool. The only downside is that it can be a little noisy outside as you can hear the vehicles from the streets. Although it's a fantastic place for a short trip, I recommend this hotel to anyone. Happy vibes!

The staff at this hotel are sooo lovely, they can't do enough for you ! The breakfast was nice and the hotel even dark there own water melons and eggs. The hotel is super cute with lovely wood work structure. The only down side I would say is the pool does not look like the picture and wasn't very clean. The location is also a 15 minute walk from any shops/restraunt. Overall we have a lovely stay here and would deffo recommend.

We enjoyed our stay here. The owners did everything they could to make our stay as great as possible. The rooms were very comfortable and the pool was a lovely bonus. There were bikes we could use to cycle into the centre of chiang Mai. Set out of the main square but in a really lovely part of town that we probably wouldn’t have visited otherwise. Loads of great restaurants within walking distance.
