Had a great weekend camping after visiting Oulton Park. Andrew was very helpful and it was nice to see the site doing well. We walked to The Shady Oak for lunch and a couple of pints - 6 mile round trip but worth it!! Facilities all very good -we'll definitely be going back!!

What a fab site with lovely owners, great size pitches and lots of extra little touches - pizza van with gorgeous homemade pizzas, great little camp shop with fresh pastries etc, pop up bar, nice clean toilets and shower cubicles. Just great!

Booked at short notice for a family event in Chester Owner gave us a very warm welcome and answered all our questions We stayed in the yurt which I can only describe as bang on Everything you need is in the yurt and plenty of space to sit outside 2 lots of shower and toilet buildings so no waiting and both were clean and tidy We didn’t need to use the shop on site however it appeared to have most things we would’ve needed If you’re looking for a campsite in the area I would definitely recommend this one

A lovely little campsite and excellent value for money. Very basic amenities but everything is so close and the owners are very helpful. What let it down for us were people being noisy up until midnight which kept us awake and the toilet facilities not being very clean. However we visited when the site was pretty much fully booked so I imagine less of an issue when it isn’t a peak summer holiday weekend.

Lovely place, host was really helpful. Average priced. Able to hire firepits once there. Lots of different ways to stay, caravans, motor home. We took our tent, there must have been over twenty campers just in tents. Bit waterlogged on back field. (had rained all the week before). People on the site, were really friendly. Lots of families. Toilet and shower blocks were clean and modern, lots of room in them, so good for families with little ones.

We booked this campsite as it was reasonably priced and we weren't dissappointed. On arrival the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, plenty of places to visit such as multiple castles, a picturesque marina, canal walks, lovely little villages and plenty of countryside walks, and close enough to Chester for a day there also. The site facilities were always clean and tidy and there were no complaints at all. We would definitely visit again.

Really lovely and friendly site and really close to lots of nice places in Cheshire. Staff were fantastic and the Mexican night they put on was lovely. We were in the Hay Field and it was a great space where we had loads of room. We will definitely be coming back.

Camped with the family and dogs over 4 nights. Beautiful site, large flat field, excellent clean facilities. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Local chip shop delivers to the site. Site was peaceful, quiet and ideally located - within 30 minutes to most places within Chester. Yes some farmyard animal noise but nothing to spoil our stay. Recommend Delamere Aqua Park, just a 25 minute drive away.
