We paid about $530 for 2 nights in this hotel in Buffalo, NY. One should be able to expect a decent room for such a price. Although the staff were friendly enough, our room was quite gross. MANY stains on the wall to wall carpet. The curtain was ripped and stained. There was mold in the shower and there was a problem with the sink drain. I fear what an infrared light would show in this room. The breakfast was fair. Coffee was mediocre - too strong with funny taste. Rather than including the wifi password with your keys on the little card, you had to ask. The first night, we called the front desk to complain and were told they would “check into it” and then they never got back to us. Quite honestly, I have NO IDEA how the rating for this place is as high as it is. LOOK ELSEWHERE!

Checked in on February 19th for one night. Check in was fantastic, friendly and fast. Got to the room and turned on TV. Did not go on. Called front desk and someone came up to try to fix. Took a few tries but finally got it. Something was not connected. Next went to use the toilet and went to raise the seat. The seat could not lift due to where they had installed the toilet roll holder. Had to remove the toilet paper first. Picture included. This morning went to make a cup of coffee. Put the sachet into the holder and filled up the reservoir. Within seconds all of the water leaked out the underside where the plug wire comes out. The counter and floor were covered in water. Brought the unit to the front desk still in my PJ’s. Not replacement was available. Poured myself a cup from the restaurant. Not very relaxing overall.

Ich war auf meiner letzten Stateside Trip im Fairfield Inn und Suites Hotel nur wenige Schritte vom Buffalo/Niagara International Airport entfernt. Die Lage der Fairfield Inns ist sehr bequem, da es sehr nahe dem New York State Thruway ist, so dass Sie in allen Richtungen mit Leichtigkeit reisen können. Das Front Desk Team war das professionellste und freundlichste, das ich während meines 17-Tages-Aufenthalts in den Staaten getroffen habe. This hotel has unfortunately declined in quality in recent years. We always stayed here during trips to Buffalo (we live in TX and return annually to Buffalo to visit friends and family), since it is right across from the airport with easy access to highways and centrally located. The location, however, is not making up for the increasingly grungy appearance, lack of breakfast items, and overall downtrodden feeling of the place. Our room was tidied every day and was relatively clean, but there were mildew and mold spots and spots on the carpet. Breakfast - several days of our week-plus stay there was no fruit (or it was so unripe as to be literally inedible), no eggs or no yogurt, no milk...the coffee was the one constant. One of the days, apparently a staff person had taken the keys to the refrigerator home, so the cold items could not be readily accessed. That said, the bright spot of this hotel is definitely Ms. Annie in the breakfast area. She greets everyone, talks to you and makes you feel at home. She apologized when there was a lack of food, and it's not her fault so I felt bad for her. I will miss seeing Ms Annie and the convenience of this location but really can't see staying here again with the inconsistency and grubbiness and decline.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Flughafen Buffalo, das Hotel war schön und sauber. Hatte keine Flugzeuge überhaupt gehört, das Zimmer war sauber, die Betten waren komfortabel, einfache Ein- und Auscheckung. Das TV im Zimmer war klein und funktionierte nicht, aber wir waren zu müde, um zu sorgen. Der Niedergang ist es kein Nachtleben in Buffalo, alles scheint um 11:00 Uhr geschlossen. Es ist schwer, nach 11:00 Uhr Essen zu finden. Die an das Hotel gebundene Sportbar schließt zu früh. Wenn wir wieder ins Hotel zurückkehren, wenn es wieder nötig wäre. Preise waren billig im Vergleich zu anderen in der Umgebung.
