The service and hospitality I received was splendid, the hotel is comfortable, clean, and convenient and offers a number of unexpected extras to guests. I stayed there in the course of a long, exhausting journey from Bilbao to Cherbourg after a ferry cancellation. Mèganne and her colleagues made me welcome and made me feel at home ! Merci beaucoup"

"Drive through the gates and enter a magical escape that feels like your own private “Bridgerton”. We stayed in the expansive Main Suite and were blown away by the soaring ceilings, massive windows, and romantic 4-poster bed. Walking into the House of Mailly is like entering a refined, historic, and incredibly cozy world that you just never want to leave. What we loved: Stunning Architecture & Garden: Incredibly detailed revival of this house reveals eye candy everywhere, inside and out. The Food: Come for the house, stay for the breakfast! Laid on a crisp white tablecloth the delicious goodies look like a magazine photo. The Vibe: Exceptionally romantic with the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The owners are fantastic, kind, and make you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. Perfect location, in the city but away from the hustle and bustle, impeccable cleanliness, and truly unforgettable ambiance. The House of Mailly is a reason to visit Châtellerault and we’ll definitely return!"

"Habe ich genommen, weil es im Zentrum des Orts liegt und ich damit kurze Wege zu Fuß zu Restaurants, etc. hatte. Den Hoteliers habe ich weder auf französisch noch auf englisch gut verstanden. Frühstück war eher mau. Das ist das einzige Hotel, in dem ich für mein Fahrrad bezahlen musste. Das waren zwar nur 2€, aber …."

B&B Hotel Chatellerault

"One of the less impressive B&B hotels - adequate, but no more. It isn’t improved by the decrepit, derelict Lemon Hotel next door. Having said that, it was quieter than I expected, given how close it is to the main road. Good parking. There is a local Del Arte restaurant, and a dreadful exemplar of Buffalo Grill, which you should avoid."

"Ich musste bezahlen, als ich bereits online bezahlt hatte, bevor mit Trip.com Händler. Selbstkontrolle im System bei Nacht hatte technische Probleme mit meiner Karte 💳, mit Druckcode und Nummernraum. Ehrlich gesagt war das Personal am Morgen professionell und hilfreich und druckte die Rechnung, um den Händler zu erklären. Das Frühstück 🍳☕️ist richtig. Grieben Brot und Croissants"
