A night stop over booked on line for two rooms. No problems at all. Easy to find with secure parking behind the hotel (€10 for 24 hours) Comfortable rooms with all that is needed for one night though having your own kettle is an advantage. Comfortable bed and good shower with plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly and helpful with advice on local amenities. Only a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral and the centre of town. Restaurants tend to be expensive in the centre so we ate at the hotel. A good quality satisfying meal with good service. A good range of food for breakfast completed a great stay.

The hotel generally well located in the center next to the train station. That is convenient in order to walk to nearby attractions, but the hotel has no car parking so that guests are being directed to public overnight parking in the city center, which is anything but inexpensive. The hotel as such is perfectly acceptable with renovated rooms. We had a junior suite for two adults and one daughter, but when we arrived in the evening we first had to find someone to arrange for a bed for our daughter as the room was set up only for two. Walls are rather thin here so you have little insulation and can hear others well in neighboring rooms. That was not a problem for us as the hotel wasn't full and we stayed there for just one night, but perhaps is less ideal if you stay longer. There is typically only one staff member on duty, so service is not the greatest. We asked for directions to a nearby restaurant but the attendant didn't even know the place that was recommended throughout in all relevant directories, on Tripadvisor, etc. Breakfast is fully self-service, including as to coffee with very basic prefabricated products, nothing special. What completely marred our experience is the fact that we had reserved and pre-paid our junior suite with breakfast included, yet at checkout were charged again separately for breakfast. That is perhaps a mistake that can happen, but was is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE is the fact that the hotel when dark when we contacted them subsequently after having left and realized the additional charge. Not a single response to this date even after multiple messages/emails sent asking for correction of the mistake. Such behavior is completely unprofessional and not to be excused. Hence, we would recommend to stay away from this place and go elsewhere.

We used this as an overnight stop and the service is disgusting. We had eaten a heavy lunch earlier in the day so requested some bar food. We were given a bar menu and decided on two croque monsieur. Even though they had given us the bar menu they then refused to serve us food in the bar and insisted that we go in the restaurant saying we could order it in there. On going into the restaurant we were told that bar food was unavailable in the restaurant. We had experience of the restaurant menu the previous night in the Novotel Narbonne, the menu is limited and does not cater for small meals. The staff did nothing to assist with providing some light food and appeared to not really care about it.Two French gentlemen who were at the hotel for business purposes and had overheard our conversations with the staff advised us not to eat in the hotel saying it was terrible. There was no manager on the premises only inexperienced reception staff and rude bar and restaurant staff. At the bar we had a Coke and a bottle of water, my wife was offered a plastic glass for her water and had to ask for a glass one. The person who served her just raised their eyes and slammed a glass down on the bar. This person turned out to be the restaurant manager. We are now sat in our room with no food as they refuse to provide room service which I thought was a requirement for a 4 star Hotel. The room is hot and humid as they have turned the air conditioning off. I have booked breakfast in the morning but now we do not wish to eat here so it will be interesting to see if they try to charge us for breakfast! Take our advice and don't stay here, 4 star hotel and 1 star service.

Wir reisen nach England zurück und dieses Hotel war perfekt gelegen. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war geräumig und die Dusche war hervorragend. Das Bett war für mich ein wenig Firma, aber passte meinem Mann an. Es gab viele gute Qualitätsküken. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Wir würden hier nochmal bleiben.

Dies ist ein neues Hotel mit sehr guter Ausstattung der Zimmer. Die kleine Küchenzeile ist gut ausgestattet und sehr nützlich. Das Zentrum von Chartres ist bequem in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Alles war makellos. Das Frühstück bot ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Parkplatz ist etwas verwirrend, aber wenn Sie vorfahren, gibt es eine Gegensprechanlage, die Sie mit der Rezeption verbindet. Wir parkten auf einem Behindertenparkplatz und stellten unser Auto dann nach dem Einchecken in die Tiefgarage. Für die Nutzung des Aufzugs benötigen Sie eine Schlüsselkarte. Daher bin ich mir nicht sicher, wie Sie zur Rezeption gelangen würden, wenn Sie zuerst geparkt hätten, aber ich Ich bin mir sicher, dass es einen Weg gibt.

De retour sur Chartres nous avons voulu visiter cet hôtel que nous connaissions déjà sous son ancienne enseigne. Quelle surprise en entrant ! Tout a été refait avec beaucoup de goût dans un style très ” maison ” . La décoration est très réussie. Nous avons été formidablement accueillis par la petite réceptionniste que nous connaissions déjà, et qui me voyant avec une béquille, nous a attribué une chambre au RDC sans que nous ayons rien à demander. Accueil chaleureux, plein d'humour et d'empathie... et surtout efficace! Le petit déjeuner vous fait découvrir des produits de la région, un délice ! Toujours pas de climatisation, mais comme l'hôtel se veut écologiquement responsable, cela est cohérent.

Schöne und sehr saubere Zimmer. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Parkplatz in der Nähe zahlt aber bietet Ihnen Minuten direkt vor der Unterkunft (max. 20 min.). Das Frühstück ist verschieden (Frischfrüchtesalat, Salz und Zucker für alle Geschmacksempfehlungen (Schädigung für Industrieorangensaft). Die Speisekarte ist am oberen Rand. Besondere Angabe für die Person am Rezeption am 14. August am Nachmittag (sehr gut Sie sind wirklich schöne und glückliche Berufsberater.
