I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Charlotte, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff was outstanding, but I want to give a special shoutout to Minho. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made my stay even more memorable. He went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met, from offering local recommendations to ensuring I had everything I needed during my stay. The hotel’s dining options were top-notch, with a diverse menu that satisfied all my cravings. I am literally still crying from my “special trip” that I had planned at this hotel. Flew in family (one of which is sick and dying and it maybe my last time seeing her). Rented fancy cars for everyone. Had planned a spa retreat for my daughters 18th bday and Mother’s Day for the women that have been there for us. I was a 15 year old mother, I was left homeless and hungry. I fought to be a mother, build a business, and my daughter and I had finally made it. I had remembered going to the hotel before for a dinner. I thought it would be a perfect spa day/special place. I am still crying as I type this. - I paid and booked in advance because the booking agent said they could accommodate us at the spa. I paid for the nicest room/cottage. Since we were just coming for a fun day/evening, I wanted it to be perfect. Which is why I went to a “Luxury” resort. I knew things had to be right and with a resort with this level achievements, it would absolutely be right… or so I thought. - First I had to call 3 times and several people after the spa reservation wasn’t made by the original person that booked at Marriott. - Upon trying to get the appointment at the spa, they had no availability and the woman was truly nasty. So I pay private people to come in last minute. - I arrive and the grounds are a MESS. Complete construction site, dead plants, trash, I was so confused.Nothing like what I had been promised or expected. It was a giant construction site. - The valet is the same person as the bellman. They have all these white men in suits standing around that are management while they make one little brown man do all the work. Let’s call this the “Legal Slavery” Marriott. -No one warned us or even bothered helping us to the cottage. This put us behind because we were lost for an hour in the construction. We missed out dinner reservations and had to eat my daughters bday dinner at some crappy place that could accommodate 9 people last minute. - We get to the “fancy” cottage/house. It disgusting. Red wine is all over the carpet. There are broken glasses in the bushes and on the patio (clearly had been there for a long time). There was an ant infestation and all of the food we ordered was covered in bugs. - Then I go to talk to the manager on duty on Sunday. Because I was crying in the middle of the lobby. He was dismissive and walked away and left me crying in the lobby on my daughters bday. The massages were cancelled and everything I had planned had been ruined, completely. - His boss comes in and makes excuses for him and comps the disgusting room that they shouldn’t be renting. However, makes NO attempt to take responsibility for any of the implications that their lies and laziness caused. Nothing was figured out, not only that but I had spent the entire time I was there trying to get things fixed, so I didn’t even see my family that I paid to fly in. First off, it was completely not listed with IHG as being under construction. The lobby is closed, and there is no common area in the lobby, minus the restaurant, which does not open until 5pm. Front desk and staff are extremely kind. That’s the whole reason for the 2 stars. In terms of room - I’m currently sitting here trying to find us a different hotel to move to. First off, we have Platinum Elite status with IHG. I completely understand upgrades are subject to availability, and the hotel is busy this weekend. However, I would have expected to be put into a room that wouldn’t typically go to a Priceline customer. Our view is all of the mechanical roof. But, I have a hard time complaining too much about it, as the windows are so dirty, you can barely see the air ducts and other roof equipment. Out of the faucet, room temperature is the only option. Cold and hot don’t work. I needed a little warm water, so used the Keurig to heat some up and - 🤢. Just gross and dirty. The floor and beds appear clean, but overall, the room is drab and disappointing. Given how filthy some parts are though, we certainly won’t be going barefoot here. Had stayed here years ago for a wedding and it was fine. If I’d known it was being renovated, I would have certainly picked somewhere else. My suggestion - pick a different hotel for your visit to Charlotte! We’re flying down for 3 more games this season, and will definitely be staying elsewhere!

Ich war vor kurzem in diesem Hotel für ein Meeting. Es ist ein einfaches Geschäftshotel, und alle, mit denen ich zu tun hatte, waren professionell und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war eine andere Sache. Es war groß und sauber, aber es ließ zu wünschen übrig. Erstens funktionierte der Fernseher nicht. Egal was ich tat, alles was ich bekam war kein Signal. 'Die Tischuhr wurde getrennt. Schließlich fand ich den Draht (unter dem Bett) und schloss ihn an, konnte aber nicht herausfinden, wie ich die Zeit zurücksetzen sollte. Die Glühbirne an der einzigen Leselampe neben dem Bett war entweder ein verherrlichtes Nachtlicht oder fast tot, aber es gab praktisch kein Licht. Die Seifenschale in der Dusche war so locker, dass die Seife und das Shampoo immer wieder abfielen. Der Duschkopf selbst hatte nur eine Einstellung - intensive Sintflut. Es gab wahrscheinlich mehr Dinge falsch, aber ich blieb nur eine Nacht.

Sehr sauberes Hotel, riesiger Platz im Zimmer. Das Hotel ist ein sehr hohes Gebäude in bevorzugter Lage in der Innenstadt von Charlotte. Die Hotelleistungen sind sehr inklusive, man bekommt sofort alles was man braucht.

Ich war hier zu meinem 40. Geburtstag mit Freunden. Hotelparkplatz und Straßen sind im Bau, aber im Hotel war es schön. Wir hatten ein Problem mit unserem Zimmer, aber sofort wurde mein Zimmer ohne Probleme gewechselt. Das Hotel hat eine Dachlounge, die großartig war. Es hat auch andere Restaurants und Bars im Inneren. Wir haben unsere Zeit dort genossen und das Hotel kaum verlassen, weil es im Hotel so viel zu tun gab. Der Aufenthalt hat sich gelohnt.

Wir lieben dieses Hotel!! Die Ansichten sind unschlagbar, die Lage konnte nicht besser sein, das Personal ist nett, die Liste geht weiter. Wir prüften wirklich spät (aufrichtig 4am Mittwoch, als wir vor der Nacht dort waren, aber niemand schien geirrt und die Mitarbeiter war wunderbar.) Ich konnte dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen genug. Ich habe ein Bild aus dem Bett des Sonnenaufganges enthalten!!

Wir buchen dieses Hotel nur, weil ich seit einiger Zeit Mitglied der IHG bin und diese Verfügbarkeit sah. Wir bleiben in der Regel bei einer Hilton/Marriott Marke, aber beschlossen, etwas anderes zu tun. Valet und Eincheck ging reibungslos, und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gut betreut. Nachdem ich später in der Dusche geduschen hatte, hörte ich diesen Lärm und dachte, ich war in den 80er Jahren zurück in meinen Party/Club-Tagen. Wir waren auf dem 18. Stock und die Dachbar ist auf dem 19.. LOUD! Ich habe schnell den Vordertisch angerufen und der schönste Empfangsmann je entschuldigt, sofort einen anderen Raum gefunden und Hilfe geschickt, um mit dem Bewegung zu helfen. Sehr gut. Jeder von der Valet bis zum Empfangsmann, bis zur Veranstaltungskoordinatoren waren sehr hilfreich und verstanden, dass wir Gäste waren. Guter Service macht einen großen Unterschied. Großer Ort zum Aufenthalt, werden wir sicher zurück sein. Sehr empfehlen diese Unterkunft

Das ist ein schönes Hotel. Das Hotel war sauber und einladend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und willkommen. Sobald wir das Hotel eintraten, waren sie für uns bereit. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und geräumig. Ich liebe die lange Sofa, die großartig war für den Lounge. Die Aussicht war gut. Das Badezimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Der Fernseher war nicht laut genug, aber das war die einzige Nebenseite.
