Zhou Shang

The location is near to 广济桥 within walking distance. It is nestled in a secluded area so it is not noisy. The room is so spacious that it can literally housed up to 10 guests, given the floor space. The service is top notched, as we have arrived before the check in time, we deposited the luggage and starts our itinerary. When we returned back to complete the check in, the staff has actually moved all the luggage into the room and switched on the aircon to cool the room. It is truly a home away from home.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Zhou Shang, a charming boutique hotel in Chiu Chow, and I must say, it was quite an experience! Pros: From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the hotel’s super boutique vibe. The decor transports you to a serene Greek island, complete with calming colors and stylish furnishings. The rooms are not only lovely but also surprisingly spacious, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every corner of the hotel exuded a sense of care and attention to detail. The service was another highlight—superb! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to help and ensure that my stay was enjoyable. One of my favorite features was the rooftop area. It’s a beautiful spot to unwind, offering lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to relax with a drink. Cons: On the downside, the hotel’s location is a bit "off" the beaten path. The neighborhood has an older, somewhat rundown feel, and there aren’t many amenities or attractions nearby. If you're looking for vibrant nightlife or bustling areas, you might have to venture a bit further. Overall: Despite the location, my stay at Zhou Shang was superb. The combination of beautiful decor, exceptional service, and that fantastic rooftop made it a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy a cozy, stylish retreat in Chiu Chow!

Really nice hotel that has great coffee at the lobby! Room is clean and nicely designed such that you can just sit at the window overlooking the river all day long with tea! You will need to get a taxi to go over to the other side of the river which has more food options.

Good Location with friendly staff. Upon arrival they provide us with a list of restaurants to go. That's good.

Lovely place. Starting to show wear and tear. There are no hooks for clothes / towels to hang. Hangers were provided but there was no where to hang. Great and warm staff. Excellent location
