Stayed in suite with sea view. The view was amazing. The room was lovely, bed super comfy. There was a nice vanity table to get ready at. Bathroom was big and clean. The service at reception were very helpful. The location was great right in old town but not too noisy - music from restaurant in evening but I liked it and church bells on Sunday. I really enjoyed my stay here and was very happy with the suite. Couple of things to point out: there was no furniture on the balconies and aside from a pouf, no furniture in room to move outside. So meant nothing to sit on to enjoy balcony and it’s view. Also the curtain was only half curtain so to block out light need to shut the shutters which then restricts air. I didn’t mind but if you want darkness to sleep might need to bring eye mask. Like I said only minor things. Overall great place. Hot water - i mention as I know this is important to people :)

Sehr schönes Hotel am Rande der Innenstadt Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption Schnelles Ein-und Auschecken Leider war es bei unserem Aufenthalt draussen sehr laut, tagsüber Verkehrslärm und spät nachts Personen im Park und Hundegebell

Zunächst ist Kreta eine schöne und große Insel mit viel zu sehen und zu tun, ich empfehle einen Besuch. Die Elizabeth Suites sind gut eingerichtet, komfortabel und sauber und perfekt geeignet für unsere Bedürfnisse ( wir waren eine Familie von 4 mit zwei Jugendkindern ). Die Apartments befinden sich auf einem kleinen ruhigen Ort mit einem großen und tiefen privaten Pool, sehr nahe dem Strand mit einer großen Auswahl an Restaurants auf Ihrem Türsteg, ein einfacher und billiger Bus in das Zentrum zu sehen die alte Stadt und Venedig Hafen ist auch Groß mit vielen Orten, wo man essen, trinken oder kaufen kann. Wir nahmen die Möglichkeit zum Frühstück trotz der Eigenpflege in unserem Apartment und es war keine Enttäuschung. Frühstück bestand aus nur etwas, was man sich vorstellen könnte, viel davon, frisch und schön vorgestellt und mit einigen Extras für später am Tag - in der Regel Hauskoch! Epas nahm jeden Tag die Gelegenheit, um über unsere Pläne und Erfahrungen zu fragen, was großartig war und er gab uns viele gute Tipps für Orte zu gehen und Dinge zu sehen - das war ein weiterer Bonus für das Frühstück. Epas organisierte auch Transfers vom Flughafen, ein Mietwagen und eine späte Check-out, so dass wir die Wohnung bis zum Moment, als wir zum Flughafen verließen. Wir hatten einen großen Urlaub und würden die Elizabeth Suites als Aufenthaltsort sehr empfehlen und wir würden in einem Herzschlag zurückkehren.

Great place to stay in Chania. It has an excellent location, close to the Old Port, the bus station, supermarkets and shops. The room was cleaned every day and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also really good. 100% recommended!

We arrived in beautiful Chania and were dropped off on the main road opposite the little track up to the Nireas. I had read TA reviews so knew to expect that Christos, the owner, would offer us a room upgrade but we were happy with our original room which was Apt 24 on the ground floor with a fantastic large balcony opening straight onto the pool area. We paid €5 a night for air con which was really powerful, and €10 for the safe. The room was dated but more than adequate for us as we are used to Greek accommodation. There were 2 beds pushed together and then a single bed near the door which my son slept in. There was a 2 ring hob, microwave and kettle and basic utensils but we only ate breakfast in the apartment so it was more than enough. I think you would struggle to conjure up a Cordon Bleu meal though but with so many fabulous restaurants on the doorstep, it wasn’t a worry for us. There were a few things that made us chuckle…. the apartment door had been hung the wrong way so the handle was inside the room and not on the outside 🤣 and the usual Greek plumbing scenario with the shower head on the wall but the shower screen on the other side of the shower meaning the floor got soaked 🫣 but hey, it’s Greece 🇬🇷 The maid came in every day except a Sunday and the sheets/towels were changed regularly. There was a drying rack on the patio for hanging wet beach stuff up. Plenty of socket points and the beds were super comfy. The pool area was quiet but we only used it in the afternoons once we came back from the beach. There were always sunbeds and Christos was either there or available by WhatsApp. The WiFi worked fine in our rooms and by the pool. Kato Doratso is a residential suburb just 4km outside of Chania so a perfect location for us. Just down the little road from the hotel is a supermarket on the corner for all your essentials/bottles of water. There were 4 beaches within walking distance and we chose Sunset Beach due to the stunning clear water. It’s a bay so no tide and it was shallow for a great way out meaning our son could happily swim and play without us worrying too much. There was a bar on the beach and the owner did a mean Freddo Cappuccino ☕️ 👌🏽 You could buy salads, hot snacks and sandwiches, ice creams, crisps and drinks there. There were also chargeable sunbeds and parasols and you could hire a kayak or paddle board. There was another shop near the start of the hotels to the left of the bay. We bought a couple of parasols from the shop and lay on the beach. It was full of local families and we thoroughly enjoyed mixing with them. The bus into Chania is the #21. Come out of the hotel, down onto the main road and take a right along the path. Just past the car garage there’s a bus stop and a ticket machine. You need the exact change and it’s €1.10 each into town (€2 if you pay on the bus) When you are is in Chania, as you get off, there’s a ticket machine and a kiosk to buy return tickets and you can catch the bus back

Dies ist eines meiner herzerwärmendsten Hotels! Besonders als ich spät in der Nacht in eine fremde Stadt kam und das Personal traf, das wirklich lange hier wartete, war die Art von Wärme unbeschreiblich. Aufgrund ihres begeisterten Service habe ich eine tiefe Erinnerung an das Credo des Hotels: GASTFREUNDLICHKEIT KOMMT VON HERZEN. Da wir am nächsten Morgen den Grand Canyon des Samariters wandern wollten, hatten wir keine Ahnung, wie wir uns mit dem Auto oder dem Boot verbinden sollten. Verschmiert. Der an diesem Abend diensthabende MR MARIOS gab uns die geduldigste Hilfe. Am nächsten Tag um 6 Uhr bat ich auch die Catering-Abteilung des Hotels, vor dem Ausgehen für jeden von uns ein reichhaltiges Frühstück zuzubereiten. Das Hotelzimmer verfügt über zwei Haartrockner, ideal für Damen mit langen oder lockigen Haaren! Natürlich gibt es Bügelgeräte. Das wärmste ist, dass Getränke- und Teebeutel nicht nur Kaffee sind, was für chinesische Touristen eine scheinbar unbedeutende, aber herzerwärmende Sache ist. Die Frühstücksumgebung ist sehr hell und sauber. Es gibt viele Kellner, die immer still an Ihrer Seite zuschauen und die notwendigen Dienstleistungen rechtzeitig erbringen. Es ist erwähnenswert, dass trotz vieler Menschen die gesamte Essensatmosphäre sehr ruhig und friedlich ist. Unter der Sonne herrscht eine reine Schönheit. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur empfehlen!

Absolut würden diese oder andere Elia Gästehäuser in der Zukunft empfehlen!
