Perfect stay in the old town. It was very quiet at night despite being in the best location possible. The air conditioner was excellent. The shower and bath facilities were also excellent as was the bed. Great view of the harbour! Breakfast is a single portion and was very tasty. It is served in a small courtyard.

We stayed 3 nights in one of the honeymoon suites for our 35th anniversary. The hotel is located in the old port of Chania, so it is very well situated to everything. The room was amazing and full of luxury. The staff are amazing, and the morning breakfast is top notch. I want to give a shoutout to George who tended to us each morning. He is such a sweet and thoughtful young man. I can’t recommend Domus Renier enough for a stay in Chania. One caution, be sure to read the instructions (which I did not). You have to park in a public parking lot a short distance away and walk to the hotel. I could have saved myself a lot of stress by reading the instructions. All the map programs take you in circles without stating that you can’t drive directly to the hotel.

We're so pleased we chose Domus Renier for our recent stay. It's a very special hotel in a beautifully-restored historic building. It enjoys an ideal location, right on the front of the Venetian harbour with lovely sea views, and backing on to the old town. Despite its central location it was quiet and peaceful at night, although admittedly we were there out of season. Our room was small but very comfortable. Breakfasts were a tour de force - a delicious range of options, all beautifully presented, with great care taken to accommodate individual requests and occasions! We also had a great first evening with cocktails and excellent dinner at Zepos, the main restaurant. Above all, the hotel staff were faultless: everyone was so friendly, cheerful, efficient and helpful. In particular, we wanted to thank Ramona and George who were exceptional and great fun. We would definitely stay at Domus Renier again.

From the moment we were met on the harbourfront by George we knew that this was going to be the right place. The hotel staff were fantastic, ready to help with any details, and they made us feel extremely welcome. We stayed in the top floor master suite. What an amazing place. The terrace looking over the harbour of Chania is truly spectacular. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, right on the water and easily accessible from the public parking area where cars must be left. Every detail in the room was truly high end and housekeeping was excellent. The included breakfast made lunch virtually unnecessary, quite amazing. Thanks to the staff for making this a very special stay.

The most pleasant hotel experience ever. Welcoming staff, amazing room supplied to us with delicious breakfast accompanied by the most well mannered and attentive staff member. The building and architecture is beautiful, the interior design is unique and unmatched. Placed right on the Venetian Harbour along side the bars and restaurants, amazing all in all 10/10 no complaints. This was a perfect 30th birthday gift to my other half - will definitely be coming back together in the future! Thank you.

We have just returned from a two night stay at the Domus Renier hotel as part of a short break in Chania at the end of a longer stay in Crete. What a fabulous hotel to finish our holiday in. It is a beautiful old building in a great part of the old town, the room was super clean and comfortable and the view over the old town was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and helpful but a special shout out to Ramona for showing us places to go and places to eat which was great. Breakfasts at the hotel are excellent - it’s like a traditional English afternoon tea but at breakfast and the main courses were really lovely, especially the avocado mousse and poached eggs on brioche. Everything about our stay was lovely and I would highly recommend for a stay here in Chania.

Our stay at Domus Renier was INCREDIBLE!!! The staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived all the way through our departure. I’m so happy that we selected this hotel to stay in Chania. What a wonderful stay at this historic hotel. This is a very small, boutique hotel with access to the Venetian harbor and several shops around. The room we stayed in (2 bedroom suite) was overlooking the harbor and had great views. Rooms also don't have numbers but names of the family members that originally owned the building long time ago before it got converted to a hotel. Very unique and quaint. Breakfast was very good and the service was excellent overall.
