We stayed here two nights in two suites on a visit to the Phoenix / Tucson area. This was a great location that allowed us to hop on the highway to either city without much of a traffic headache. There were plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area (recommend Hop Social Kitchen). Suites were spacious, clean, and minimalist modern. I had a 1BR (surprise upgrade upon check-in) and my family member had a studio. Both suites had everything we needed. Best parts were the filtered water on tap along with ice cube trays in the freezer - the combination of these two items allowed us to keep our water bottles fresh and filled with cold, refreshing water. Both suites had a standalone shower (my preference), although a little disappointed at the lack of shelves in the shower. I had to place my personal toiletries on the shower floor. The towels are also tiny - a common issue with most hotels. The hotel was quiet - no noise disturbances during our stay. The Westin Heavenly bed was comfortable as always - like sleeping on a cloud! Parking was free and plentiful. Breakfast was also free. They had an amazing yogurt bar with tons of delicious, fresh berries. There was no breakfast meat available from what I could see. I was somewhat surprised to see disposable silverware at a eco-friendly hotel (although I’m guessing this is a post-Covid / staffing shortage related issue, as you don’t have to worry about cleaning silverware between guests). I kept receiving a message while trying to watch tv that the programs were not available for every channel I tried (even basic stations). This was not a big deal for me and I did not notify hotel during my stay because I did not want to wait for someone to fix it for me, but something to check before you get comfy in your room for the evening. I encountered a few minor cosmetic / maintenance issues between the two rooms (key card reader plate snapped off the one suite’s door, the deadbolt didn’t appear to lock in the other suite). Overall, this was a good choice for my family and I would stay again.

This was one of the best hotel stays I have had in quite some time, noting that this property is a rare asset to the Marriott brand. Firstly, let’s start with the positives; 1) Free electric car charging. This included two charging stations for Tesla, and two for other types of vehicles. These spots weren’t always available, but it’s a really nice touch. Would be a positive if they added more stations in the future. 2) Guest bikes for rental. While they only have two currently, based on discussions with hotel staff, there is little demand for this benefit at present. With that said, they are nice bikes. I enjoyed a pleasant ride to the gym and nearby lake which was greatly appreciated and gave me an opportunity to check out the neighborhood (which is very nice FYI) at my leisure. 3) Complimentary hot breakfast every morning which included several low carb and healthy items such as egg white muffins, boiled eggs, sugar free oatmeal packages, plain Greek yoghurt with fresh fruit and berries, nut toppings and several other standard breakfast options. Not comparable with some of the European properties in the Marriott brand, but satisfactory nonetheless. 4) Large, modern suites with a decent sized fridge and kitchen. Little outside noise detected. 5) Daily cleaning if requested. 6) Friendly staff who were very personable and seemed happy to be interacting with the guests at the front desk. Overall, really nice stay and great value for money. None of the irritating money grabs that most of the other Marriotts have taken advantage of. No unnecessary parking fees, no deceptive “resort” up charges and very competitive daily rates for the area. In addition, the property is across the road from the Chandler Fashion Center and well located if you need to be in this part of the metro area. There are several other Marriotts nearby, but this one is the best that I have come across so far.

I was here for 3 nights in Jan 2024 while I was taking a weekend course in Tempe. The location was easy to find and there are so many restaurants to choose from as you are across the street from Fashion Center. Even though it is a large shopping complex, the traffic was not ridiculous. The staff that I encountered were always friendly and helpful. I opted out of everyday housekeeping but the day that they did stop in the cleaning was well done. It's nice to have a kitchenette and sitting area in a hotel because it seems a little more like an apartment and not just a "room". The morning breakfast had something for everyone and there was a coffeemaker in the room as well. There was plenty of parking. I would definitely stay here again. While I did not use the amenities, there is a pool and fitness center.

Travel to the area for work and have been trying various hotels. This has become one of the ones that I really like to stay at. Pros : * Beautiful rooms, spacious and fully equipped with microwaves, an apartment sized fridge (really nice), dishes, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and a lot of room. The rooms are very well upkept, clean and functional, no real problems with them. Honestly some of the nicest hotel rooms that I’ve stayed at. * Facilities are very nice, including the work out room. * Staff has been very friendly and pleasant to talk with. * Temperature controls work very well, when hot, the room can be cooled, when cold, heat works well. * They have a lot of charging locations for electric cars. The first time I stayed here I was offered a Tesla as a rental, but turned it down because I didn’t know where to get it charged. Cons : * Elevators are NOT linked. Meaning that you have to press both buttons to get the closest elevator, they operate completely independently. This makes the elevator usage very inefficient. Highly recommend they upgrade the controller. There is no floor indicator so you don’t know which one is the closest. * Breakfast is only OK. it is food. But it’s basically the same every day. Eggs, toast, English muffins, mini-muffins (often just bran), oatmeal, and yogurt with fruit. That’s about it. There is juice and coffee as beverages. If you’re a big breakfast person, this might be a problem for you. Wish they had, at least, pancakes, waffles, and a few other things that a lot of hotels offer for free. * VERY soft water. For me this is almost a deal breaker. Thought it was the soap, but it isn’t, I brought my own soap. The water makes you feel gross, slimy and you can’t get away from it. Really HAVE To use a towel to scrub off the water at the end. Not just for drying! If you know what soft water is like, you’ll know what I mean, and it is REALLY cranked up. Really would like this turned down a LOT.

Check in was smooth, didn't take long. Room was nice, King bed, a fridge and even dishes if needed. Really loved the shower and the fact that the control was in the back of the shower so you don't get wet when you turn it on. The breakfast was decent, I had a sausage biscuit and some cereal. The juice was disgusting though. I booked this place specifically for the EV parking and one of the spots was handicap and it was the only one open so that's where I parked, brought that up to the front desk and they said it was fine but I felt bad seeing as I'm not handicap. Also, my TV didn't work at check in but they fixed it by the time I returned from my event. I'm staying there again this weekend...

Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Pros: Easy walking distance to Chandler Fashion Center - lots of restaurants Free breakfast - loved the Chobani yogurt bar, rest of it pretty standard fare, eggs, oatmeal, cereal, fresh fruit Guest laundry on sight - I didn’t use so can’t rate Cons: Water is WAY too soft - soap feels filmy, my daughter put a towel on the shower floor because the soap was not washing away and it was slippery Not enough chairs at pool - only 4 or 5 lounge chairs which were all being used on the weekend, and one table & chair set with an umbrella It’s a decent hotel, I would stay again.

Just finished a stay at Element Chandler. This hotel is very convenient being close to freeways, a mall, restaurants and many other stores. This was my first time staying at this brand in the Marriott Portfolio. It seems that your Bonvoy status doesn’t mean much here. At checkin, being Platinum Elite, I wanted to upgrade to a one-bedroom, the clerk claimed I had been assigned one. When we entered the room, it was actually a studio. It had been a long travel day and didn’t feel like hauling our luggage back downstairs so I kept the room. The room is only partially carpeted. So, if you’re not on the top floor, you will easily hear your neighbors above walking around, which is very annoying at night when trying to get some sleep. Having a kitchenette was a pro for leftovers and keeping water cold. Housekeeping only serviced our room one day out of our 4-night stay after I mentioned to the front desk that our towels needed refreshed. As far as cleanliness, I would give it 4 stars out of 5 and would only stay at this brand again if I could get a one-bedroom on the top floor.

The hotel was fine, but housekeeping and maintenance in room was terrible. A desk lamp, end table lamp, toilet paper holder were broken. A coffee table was dangerously broken. Housekeeping never, in 6 days of our stay, made the bed. All they did was remove trash and dirty towels. They didn't even replace any towels that were removed. When we made the bed, after a few days, we found a 2nd set of sheets and a 2nd comforter in the bed, by our feet. Was only 1 set dirty or both sets?

This was a very well appointed room. The staff was wonderful and the hotel and rooms were super clean. We go a one bedroom suite and enjoyed it thoroughly. When we called for more towels and dishwasher detergent I told them it was no rush, but it was delivered to our door in less than 5 minutes. Paul and Lynette at the front desk were both very nice and helpful and made us feel welcome to their home.

Staff was friendly. Room SEEMED nice at a newer property. But in the light of day, it was gross. Sofa bed had some stain and a dirty paper towel in it. No bedding for the sofa bed to cover it up. Trash was overflowing and not emptied from the previous guest. Dirty handprints on the elevator. Subpar breakfast and the eggs were cold and standing in water in the crockpot. We left and went to Starbucks.

Clean, simple, near everything. We stayed at this hotel for another baseball tournament. We are from California, did not know our way around, but this was a GREAT location. Directly across from a mall. The mall has many food options and lots of shopping. The hotel itself was very green and offered many options such as EV chargers, water bottle filling stations and a good breakfast in the morning. There are no bars or restaurants on site in the hotel, but while we were there they had a happy hour with free wine and beer a few nights during the week. The pool is very basic and small, but we enjoyed ourselves.

Absolutely miserable management, dishonest housekeeping and arogant management. If this property was anywhere else besides the busy area it's in, the will be begging for business. Take your money elsewhere if you don't want your room ransacked .... FYI - I am a BONVOY Ambassador Elite not some random traveller.

Our stay with them was GREAT,the front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable, the hotel was very clean and the room was wonderful. Our room was 2 double beds, and couch, desk and chair and a kitchenette, which was great to have. The bathroom was huge, big shower area, lots of room to move around . They had breakfast every morning and in the evening they had complimentary drinks ( beer ,soda,wine ) and snacks (cheese, bread, olives) anytime we asked the front desk for anything they got it right away, just all around GREAT stay, will definitely stay there again!! Keep up the GREAT work.

We stayed here with the kids because we like the room configuration they have with two queens and a pull out couch plus having a kitchenette. We were happy to know that they had hot breakfast options again, but you are given a breakfast sandwich rather than making your own. You also can have other juices and bagels, danishes, fruit, etc., from platters. The yogurt bar was back, which is my favorite. Room was comfortable again and had room for all the kids. Staff was friendly and helpful, even more than I remember from last time. Great location near the mall and plenty of restaurants and stores. We always look forward to coming here for room for the family at a reasonable price
