Terrible experience. I had my reservation with months of anticipation and chose the option to pay in the front desk when checking-in. I’m an international voyager, who has visited more than 25+ countries around the globe and this is by far the worst service I’ve ever got in a “decent” hotel. I’m from Mexico and due to security, credit and debit cards here don’t have numbers on them anymore. You use your bank’s app and you have to log in with face scan. Turns out the lady in the front desk (short hair, floral shirt) didn’t let me check in, because she said she needed a card with numbers. I try to explain to her that cards in Mexico don’t have them anymore. She was so rude, mean and disrespectful, that I literally had to go to the hotel across the street and I was able to stay there without a problem. Can you imagine taking an international flight and finding out you don’t have a place to stay the night, even though you booked one? Was it xenophobic? Incompetence? I don’t know, but I wouldn’t recommend anybody to stay here. To top it off, I will get charged with 30% of the reservation. This is monkey business!!
