We have stayed at lucy hotel 3. Times before 2015, 2016, and 2019 and now we are so lucky to stay here again. Thanks to Christina we gota room in the most fully booked hotel in Kavala. The hotel is very clean , the staff is very Nice and always helpfull and smiling. Kavala city is one of the most beautiful cities we have ever visited. We appreciate to get a room facing kavala city because we really like speending time on the balcony🤗 when we look at the other balcony we cant understand why everybody issent speending time out here🙄 so 5 stars are really not enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

the location is very nice , on top of a hill overlooking the beautful Evoian gulf and beach. The service is good, the outskirts of the hotel are green and pleasant. The room have nice balconies facing the beach. The swimming pool is nice too but there's no children's pool. The rooms are fine, but a bit small, and the bed is only 1.60 m. width. The bathroom is unbearable, way too small and no place for two people. Never saw such a tiny bathroom. Breakfast is good, with wide selection of food, but for dinner, the food in the main dinning room was not tasty and not good. We had something light at the bar outside.

Ein schönes Hotel für einen schönen ägäischen Urlaub. Es gibt einen Strand, der zero ist und das Hotel gehört. Es gibt nur 5 bis 10 Personen, die du angibst am Strand. Wir waren drei Familien, und wir waren wie ein spezieller Strand und das Meer. Wir haben uns wieder in den Restaurants auf See, direkt in der Nähe des Hotels, frisch und lecker Fisch gegessen.

Die Anlage liegt direkt am Meer an einem kleinen künstlich aufgeschütteten Strand, ca. 3 Kilometer vom Dorf Eretria mit kleinem Fährhafen und mehreren Läden und Tavernen entfernt. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es Nichts. Den ersten Pluspunkt sammelt das Hotel, dass es auf dem Parkplatz Sonnenschutz für die Autos gibt. Irgendwie erweckt aber die Anlage den Eindruck eines Schullandheims im 80er-Jahre-„Charme“. Ich hätte gern eine bessere Zimmer- Kategorie gebucht, jedoch ist dies auf der Website irgendwie nicht möglich – nur die „Deluxe- Variante“ – zwar mit Meerblick, das war es aber dann auch schon. Zudem gaukeln die Bilder der Website (zumindest was den Balkon betrifft) mehr als die Wirklichkeit vor. Ich hätte mir eine Liegemöglichkeit auf dem Balkon gewünscht. Leider schlägt hier die in Griechenland weit verbreitete Unsitte zu, so etwas auf dem Balkon nur sehr selten anzubieten. Auf den niedrigen Stühlen konnte man nicht einmal lümmeln. Den gewissen rustikalen Charme trug zur Begrüßung schon die Rezeptionistin: Eher an eine Schwester Oberin erinnernd, kein Willkommen, kein Wort zu viel: “breakfast is from 7.00 -10.00“ war alles an Erklärungen. Nun kann ich es an sich nicht leiden, wenn ich (womöglich sogar etwas erschöpft und/oder genervt von der Anreise) beim Einchecken mit Selbstverständlichkeiten und/ oder Nichtigkeiten zugelabert werde, aber etwas mehr hätte es dann schon sein sollen. Bspw. dass der Fitness- Raum geschlossen ist. Ein freundliches Lächeln käme sicher nicht nur bei mir gut an. Die Zimmertrakte liegen verwinkelt, über viele Treppen und Ecken erreichbar. Es gibt einen Lift, versteckt im hinteren Teil der Anlage. Auf dem Zimmer wartet kein Begrüßungsgeschenk, wie sonst in Griechenland üblich. Die Minibar (deren Kompressor zudem laut brummt, und die sich nicht ausschalten, oder der Stecker ziehen lässt) ist leer. (Ich weiß, dass dies wg. Corona so ist, aber wenigstens waren bisher immer Wasserflaschen drin) Leider hat man keine Möglichkeit Tee und/oder Kaffee zuzubereiten. Alles ziemlich trist! 5 Sterne? Never ever! Jeglicher Glamour- Faktor oder gar Luxus- Faktor fehlt hier völlig! Fernsehempfang ohne ausländische Sender – nunja… Offensichtlich wurde aber vor nicht allzu langer Zeit „modernisiert“ TV (mit idiotischer Bedienung) und – viele – Steckdosen mit Pontenegro- Signets… und Bedieneinheiten für die – sehr hellen – Beleuchtungen. Der „do not disturb“ Hinweis versteckt sich in eben solch einer Bedienleiste in der Mitte über dem Bett. Etwas „Luxus“ deutet sich durch „Guy Laroche“ Bademäntel und Decke an. Weder am Pool noch am Strand werden Badetücher gereicht, Auflagen für die Liegen konnte ich keine ausmachen. Frühstück ist okay – es gibt recht viel frisch zubereitetes, Capuccino kostet extra, jedoch ist der „reguläre“ Kaffee erstaunlich gut und rettet den kurz aufgekommenen Eindruck der knausrigen Gastunfreundlichkeit. We stayed in this hotel for 1 week. Since we are a family of 4, we paid a lot of money for a suite, although the sofa was the same as in the 3 bed room, but the hotel did not allowed to stay there. The sofa offered for the kids was very uncomfy. The website of the hotel is nice and we thought they will give anything for this money. But behind these was no service from the hotel. The facility is nice and clean. on their website the offer slides, Ninja park, wibit, but it's not part of AI basis, cost extra money, what is specious. The ladies at the reception, they are really awful. If I wanted to ask something, they did not recognised me, just turned away. I don't know, whether they did not speak English or didn't wanted to help. There was only a men, who helped me. The food was OK, but it was not easy to find a table. If you found one, you needed to clean it for yourself. The staff in the restaurant at the bar and our cleaning lady was very-very kind, I liked them. So a huge thank you for all. And also a huge thank you for Pierre Angel and his team. Our suncreme was stolen, we could not buy any in the hotel and they gave us some left cremes from their storage. Parties were also good, and Pierre Angel helped us a lot. We could borrow some games from him, etc
