We are only 1/4 mile from the site where the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed. We are only 18 miles from the new Tryon International Equestrian Resort. Our cozy one bedroom log cabin is built for couples and has a hot tub. We are located in the Town of Lake Lure and only one mile south of the charming mountain Village of Chimney Rock, NC. For no extra cost we have canoes, horse shoes, private fishing ponds, and a dock on beautiful Lake Lure. All set in a natural landscape with diverse flora and fauna. Plus, only a short distance away you will find the Lake Lure Beach and Marina, Historic Lake Lure Inn, Restaurants, Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure Tour Boats, horseback riding, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, tennis courts, Chimney Rock Village and fly fishing on the Rocky Broad River! Hurricane Helene Update: As of 5/12/25 the Town Of Lake Lure has closed the lake to swimming and boating for the summer of 2025. I will remove this Update as soon as this restriction is lifted. The main level houses the family room, kitchen, dining room along with the master and one additional bedroom. The massive family room with its gorgeous views of beautiful Lake Lure is perfect for your family to play games, tell stories, or watch your favorite movie. With windows to the vaulted 25 ft. ceiling and access door to the deck you are sure to enjoy the lake view this Lake House log cabin has to offer. The Kitchen is fully furnished with all dishes and tools to make your stay convenient and easy. The dining room seats 10 with additional seating for 4 at a game table in the family room. The master bed room offers private access door to the deck providing a beautiful view along with a private full bathroom with jetted tub. The loft bedroom offers a private space for quieter moments. From the loft bedroom you can capture truly amazing miles of lake and mountain views. This space also has a full private bathroom. The basement is perfect for friends or children of your group. There is a second massive family room in the basement with ping pong and game table. This family room has beautiful views of the lake as well as an access door to a second huge wrap around deck. There are three additional bedrooms and a full bathroom. The laundry room is also located in the basement. The upper and lower decks have access to ground with a path leading to our beautiful boat house and walkway. There are 2 extra boat slips at our boat house available if you decide to rent a boat from the marina. There is over 300 feet of lake front property which has a private dock wrapping around the entire point. Off the property point, water is shallow enough for kids to swim, play and enjoy the lake. Swim up ladders make it easy for climbing in and out. Our Pontoon boat is also available with this property at a weekly rate only. See amenities or contact owners for details. It has one bedroom and one bath. With a queen bed in the bedroom, it can accommodate 2 people. This lakefront cabin has an open porch with views of Lake Lure and the surrounding mountains. Tootsie's Cabin is pet friendly. "Tootsie" was the nickname for the current owner's grandmother. It has a screened porch, full kitchen and bath, and washer and dryer. It is pet friendly. It was built by Jim's father in 1965. Ravens Roost looks at a large field. Jim was once a rock and ice climber and we have decorated Raven's Roost with some of his old climbing equipment. We are near Chimney Rock, Asheville and The Biltmore House. All our Lake Lure, NC cabins are great for anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, or any special occasion. Pine Gables offers canoes, horse shoes, private fishing ponds, and a dock on beautiful Lake Lure. All set in a natural landscape with diverse flora and fauna.
