A wonderful small hotel - 12 rooms, taking personal care of all guests. With my daughter we had a good-sized twin-bedded room with balcony - to our delight, overlooking the harbour. The room and en-suite bathroom were spotlessly clean, the beds (especially pillows) the most comfortable hotel ones we've ever known! The breakfast was a very well provided buffet (we couldn't manage the cooked option, rather to the disappointment of the kind waitress), and they carefully prepared gluten-free toast for us. (Rooms have a kettle, very useful.) Very nice beach towels were provided, and the beach is less than 10 minutes walk along the (flat!) promenade. We took a boat to Dubrovnik one day - about an hour each way; a great day out, but we also enjoyed coming home to Cavtat's gentler pace of life. The hotel has a restaurant just opposite, with a good dinner menu - fish is excellent. We ate there every night, and they offered a 10% reduction as we were staying at the hotel! All the staff were very helpful and kind, really wanting us to enjoy our stay. It was our first time in Croatia; we'd love to return - to this hotel :-)

It is over 40 years since I last visited Croatia (Yugoslavia as it was then), but Cavtat is still as beautiful as it was then. A small town but full of decent cafes, restaurants and places to visit and stay. Dubrovnik may be the pearl of the Adriatic, but the pearl of Cavtat must surely be Villa Pattiera. This beautiful boutique hotel has just 12 rooms but each is decorated in warm, inviting colours. Our room had a balcony that was shared with one other (unoccupied) room and overlooked the bay and its many eateries. The hotel comes complete with the restaurant dalmacija both attached and opposite and the breakfast supplied each day is enormous with cheese, meats, conserves and fruit plus hot egg dishes, all served with a welcoming smile by the brilliant Michaela. My wife fell in love with the place almost immediately, and she is already planning our next visit here.

An excellent hotel in all ways, small, homely and relaxing. Rare to find any hotel like this. Good value throughout - I did like the house wine, best house wine of our visit. Overall Croatia is not cheap - but here was great value. And with a good restaurent - food was excellent for all meals.

We first came to Villa Pattiera in 2013 and it's still as lovely and charming. Michaela has been at the hotel since 2008 and she always has a warm and welcoming smile. Martina did a first class job on sorting our accommodation last minute. Our room de luxe double was perfect very comfortable bed great shower and bathroom all very spacious with a wonderful balcony overlooking the sea. Nina who served us a delicious breakfast every day was also delightful very engaging and friendly. This hotel is in a perfect spot for everything the bars restaurants the boat trips couldn't be in any better location. Even though it's central we had no disturbance and our sleeps on the best bed was faultless. A perfect stay we will be back

A very comfortable family run hotel Staff helpful and very friendly. Excellent breakfasts. Evening meals in restaurant very good. Perfect location by the promenade with a big selection of restaurants and cafes and within easy reach of tree shaded walks

My friend and I have a beautiful twin room that had a balcony. The location was fabulous, so close to the sea and right in the hub of things, yet so peaceful at night for sleeping. All staff were very friendly, thoughtful and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as blissful as possible. Breakfast was lovely too. Many thanks to all

Very quaint 12 bedroom hotel. We didnt book until last minute so didn't have a choice of room and had a double right at the top of the building. There's is no lift so stairs not good if you are infirm although we are both in our seventies but just took our time and staff helped with luggage. Beautiful little resort perfect to just wander around and enjoy little bars and fabulous restaurants. What a lovely country.

Very well located close to harbour, bus station, boats to Dubrovnik and headland walks. The room was spacious with a shared balcony. Bathroom was well appointed. All the inside furnishings were fairly new but all the outside chairs, tables and loungers were old, rusty and definitely needed replacing. The food was very good, hot breakfast cooked to order and lots of choice for dinner with delicious desserts. The breakfast waitress Michaela is friendly, helpful and a real asset to the business, able to converse in many languages too.

Stayed here for 4 nights in April 2024 in a room with a shared terrace - in fact, we arrived on the day they opened for the summer season. What can we say, this hotel has just 12 rooms and the personal service they provide is amazing. The owners and staff couldn't do enough for us and made us feel like we were guests in their home. The room was large with a lovely view from the terrace. Everything was spotless and the bed was really comfy. The breakfast was absolutely lovely but the crowning glory is their Restaurant Dalmacija - I can honestly say that we rarely eat at the same place twice when on holiday as we like to try different places, but not this time.....we ate in the restaurant on our 2nd night and then never went anywhere else. The food is beautiful - definitely not cheap but absolutely top quality. Thank you for a lovely stay.
