"Während unserer Tour durch Salento machten wir eine Nacht in Castro Halt, entschieden uns dann aber aufgrund der Höflichkeit und Gastfreundschaft des gesamten Personals, eine zusätzliche Nacht zu bleiben. Sehr große Zimmer mit herrlichem Meerblick, ausreichend Parkplätzen (was im Salento oft ein Problem darstellt) und einem reichhaltigen, hausgemachten Frühstück. Sie verwöhnten uns mit frischem Obstsalat und frisch gebackenem Feigenkuchen. Danilo und seine ganze Familie haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns wie zu Hause fühlten ... sogar unser kleiner Hund 🐶😉 Sehr empfehlenswert!"

"We have just had the most divine 3 nights stay at this beautiful hotel. We travelled as 2 couples (60+)visiting from Australia. We could not believe our luck ! The location was second to none. The swims off the rocks on the private beach were sublime. I felt I was dreaming! The facilities (the pool has to be seen to be believed) are conducive to an incredibly relaxing and comfortable holiday. The staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Alessandra , the owner, was also there to show us around and tell us the fascinating history of the hotel. Breakfast (included in the incredibly reasonable price) was delicious and served in the gorgeous living area overlooking the ocean. We will return, as will the other guests we encountered during our stay. We were a bunch of very happy customers! Thank you so much Alessandra , Gemma and Maria."

"We stayed at the B&B La Rosa Antica in Castro and had a truly pleasant experience. The property is strategically located: very close to the historic center and just minutes from the sea in Castro Marina, one of the most beautiful villages in Salento. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the bed very comfortable. We appreciated the tranquility of the place, ideal for those seeking relaxation away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast is a highlight: plentiful, with fresh, typical local products, homemade cakes, seasonal fruit, and excellent coffee. The owners, Maria and Luigi, are extremely kind and always available, making us feel at home from the very first moment. Mr. Luogo even went to the nearby town in the morning to get lemon cream and Nutella tartlets for breakfast. Super. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back. Furthermore, the quality-price ratio is excellent: the property offers comfort and authentic hospitality at truly competitive prices for the area."

"Atemberaubende Lage. „Am Meer“ zu sagen, wäre untertrieben – es liegt fast im Meer. Ich habe in der Suite übernachtet und es war eine sehr positive Erfahrung. Sehr gut ausgestattet. Vom bequemen Bett bis zum voll ausgestatteten Badezimmer haben alle Zimmer Meerblick. Der Hotelstrand ist gut ausgestattet. Das Meer ist natürlich einfach wunderschön. Ein paar kleine Kritikpunkte bezüglich der begrenzten Auswahl beim Frühstück und den Snacks an der Bar sind zu vernachlässigen. Das Open-Air-Restaurant mit Meerblick ist wunderschön."

"Sehr zu empfehlen! Bei den Gastgeber fühlt man sich sehr wohl, wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, uns wurde gleich was zum trinken Angeboten. Das Zimmer war schön groß so wie das Bad auch. Der Balkon ging um das halbe Haus was ich auch super fand. Die Aussicht von dem Balkon ging genau aufs Meer. Die Gastgeber haben, nach dem wir in einem Gespräch erzählt haben das ein Motorrad in der Werkstatt ist, sofort erzählt sie kennen die Werkstatt, sie rufen da mal an und fahren uns, wenn wir das wollen, dort hin um die Koffer zu holen, die wir auf dem anderen Motorrad nicht mitnehmen könnten. Zu dem kommen noch die guten Empfehlungen von Besichtigungen und Restaurants in der Nähe, als auch auf dem Weg zu unserem nächsten Stopp. Ich hatte das empfinden, das die zwei Gastgeber das B&B mit Herz und Seele führen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 🥰"
