"Wunderbar Das Restaurant gibt über den Fluss Agut und c ist magisch Das Essen ist das Gastronomie, man muss die Leber fett, das Kalb, Käse und um die Tausende Schokolade ist ein künstliches Feuer von Geschmack. Die Unterkunft ,Dienst, unverantwortlich freundlich,wirksam .ein volles Restaurant oder man dort ist wirklich Haar für das gesamte Serviceteam und die Brigade in der Küche mit einem wahren Chef!! In den Ofen. Wir müssen absolut dorthin gehen, wenn wir in Kastren sind und eine Sache ist sicher, wir werden wieder da sein. Hier ist ein schönes, sehr schönes Haus! Mit einem ausgezeichneten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ein b Grand bravo für alle."

"Modern decor and comfortable room and bed, although the storage space in our room was tiny (not good for a 3 night stop as part of a 2 week holiday). The toilet was also housed in a cubicle not much bigger than a broom cupboard which might be a challenge for the larger figured person. Cleaning staff pleasant and efficient and room serviced promptly. Pleasant garden area to the side of the property and a decent size swimming pool which is adjacent to the terrace adjoining the restaurant. Relatively secure parking both at the front and the back which is good as the area in which the hotel is located is a bit run down in places. Handy location and just 15 minutes walk up to the centre of town, where there are lots of restaurants. Breakfasts up to the usual Accor/Novotel/Mercure standard and plenty of choice. Would have liked to have tried the attached L' Occitan restaurant more than once but we were told at quite short notice that the entire restaurant had been reserved for a private company function on our last night and we would either have to eat in town or we could have room service. We were on B&B terms so could not really object but nonetheless one expected better of the hotel and its attitude to its paying visitors. On the one night that we did visit, we had a good meal and the staff attentive."

"One of those basic hotels the French seem to have so many of. In Castries for a ruby match so just a one night stay. Had a single room at the end of a corridor that was the length of the street! But room spacious and bed very comfortable. Only issue - the automatic self checkin system was a nightmare to operate. Joined a queue of people trying to gain entrance / get key codes. Took over half an hour (no staff on duty until later in the day). A slow and quirky system - needs to be reviewed. Otherwise its exactly as it says on the tin."

"Having read recent positive reviews we were disappointed immediately on arrival. Firstly the steep and winding staircase from the street entrance to reach the reception area, and then, many more stairs to reach the 'First Floor' ! No a/c but an electric fan provided. Although the window view overlooks the river it is separated from the bed area by washbasin and w.c, and a toilet, so narrow to squeeze into. Directly under our room a Tapas bar with plentiful outside seating. The noise and music continued until 1.30 am and this apart from the sound of bikes and cars from the street The instruction leaflet in the room did advise to be quiet after 10.00pm to respect the neighbours, as my wife would say "What planet are these people on" The wifi was totally unreliable, I had to use my phone to get a decent signal. Unfortunately not even one good point to report"

"The hotel is very clean, quiet, but in the full month of August there is no climate, it is missing, but it is a night of discharge. We are welcomed on Sunday morning by a very pleasant and sympathetic household. "
