Clayton was okay as far as hotels go, it was nice having a view of Cardiff from a top floor, staff were friendly too. The Gym was tiny for the size of the hotel, the bedroom was a standard double room, the reviews said that the Clayton had been newly refurbished, but felt that the room was dated. Due to windows not being able to be open due to H&S, there was no fresh air, just air con. The room was mostly clean, few stains on the carpet, and floor felt dusty. The hotel location was great, near the train station and in town, but for the cost, I was expecting something much better, as the night before we had a much cheaper hotel, and rooms came with kitchens, and were very modern - wish I had stayed at that one for the extra few nights.

Mit Blick auf die Hauptstraße von Cardiff ist es günstig in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Das Cardiff Castle liegt nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Wegen der Osterzeit war die Stadt bis Mitternacht beschäftigt, und der nächste Tanzclub war bis Mitternacht etwas laut.

Really love this hotel and the location right in the centre! I always choose to stay here. Staff are super friendly and rooms are nice and clean. Car park under the hotel (at an extra cost of £18pn) The only difficult thing is getting to the hotel by car, as it sends you down a bus/taxi lane which can be confusing.

Genießt den Aufenthalt. Ferienhaus enttäuscht nie, und ich schätze wirklich ihre Gastfreundschaft. Großer Service, gutes Essen, hervorragende Zimmer, und großer Blick auf die Stadt. Liebe den Aufenthalt, und würde jemanden empfehlen, zu Kardiff zu reisen.

Room was good and clean. Location excellent. All the staff were polite. Breakfast is self service but very good.

Prime location, lovely layout and friendly staff. The room was well presented. However, the hotel food really let the experience down. Namely as there is a £6 add-on charge for room service which isn’t advertised clearly enough! Imagine my shock when I went to pay. The pizza was very average too. So in all £23 for a pizza that I probably could’ve made better myself. Insanity.

Service was top-notched. As a hilton gold member, i was given complimentary upgrade to the King Junior Suite. We had access to the lounge as well. Overall, it was an amazing stay. Would definitely comeby again next time.
